Ally: Ally stepped up to the curb and murmured the simple spell that was supposed to alert the knight bus. It wasn't her favorite way to travel, but after the mix up with her supplier and the lengthy heated discussion that had followed, she wasn't in the mood to apparate. A few moments later the bus appeared as if from thin air and lurched to a stop. Ally could see several things slide forward through the windows. Shouldering a bag that looked deceptively empty but was actually full to bursting with various odds and ends, she stepped off the curb and through the small folding door. With a small smile to the driver, she scanned the area, knowing she only had a few moments before...whoops, too late. The bus took off again sending the normally impressively graceful wish toppling into someone's lap and her bag to the floor with an oddly loud 'thud'.
14 Jun 17, 11:01 PM
Ally: witch*
14 Jun 17, 11:02 PM
Marcos: Marcos was holding onto the couch tightly, legs crossed on it as normal. One stop he got a glimpse through the window was some weird looking place then bam! The us lurched forward and someone fell into his lap literally! He heard a noise at the same time as he went "Ooof!" realizing whoever it was had dropped something! Catching them around the waist with his free hand he said "You okay? What dropped?"
14 Jun 17, 11:09 PM
Ally: Ally managed to shift so that she was sitting next to the strangely familiar voice. The apology came first. "I am so sorry!" She noticed her bag in the aisle and summoned it over. "Just my bag" she concentrated briefly and her hair righted itself. His face finally came into focus and she laughed. "Marcos? Marcos Jimenez?" They'd been in the same house and the same year in school, but never had much to do with one another outside of a couple of paired projects. Still, time had been good to him she noticed.
14 Jun 17, 11:14 PM
[×]Marcos: His clothes were a mix of leather and rough, much like the slight beard he kept up. "S'okay, s'okay, nothing squashed. Just me!" He steadied her with a hand, suddenly aware of the mini she was wearing. As a slight flush lit his cheeks she recognized him. "Oh say, haven't seen you in years! Ally, right?"
14 Jun 17, 11:15 PM
Ally: Righting her skirt and settling her bag at her feet, she crossed her ankles and grinned. "Ally" she confirmed. "It has been...since graduation at least" she agreed. "What are you doing these days? I thought your family was from...South America?" It was something like that, she felt sure.
14 Jun 17, 11:17 PM
Marcos: He was feeling a few flashbacks to her teasing guys with legs and such. His temp might have raised a bit. "Close enough, closer to central America, but it works. Most of my jobs have been in Africa, kinda have to go where the work is you know. How about you? Who have you got chasing you now?"
14 Jun 17, 11:21 PM
Ally: She nodded, arching a brow at his mention of work in Africa. Her curiosity peaked. "What sort of work?" she was definitely intrigued. A wry sort of smile crossed her lips at his question. "Mostly late suppliers and frantic clients who don't understand why their shipments could possibly be late." She ran her fingers through her hair and exhaled. "Sorry, long day."
14 Jun 17, 11:24 PM
[×]Marcos: The couches all slid backwards a few feet and he realized she was still partly in his arms which he didn't really object to. "Eh, mostly exploration. Not as exciting as I first thought though it gets hairy sometimes. Just back to take some samples to a dealer." He gave her a questioning look Hand't she come from some rich family? "What kind of suppliers? Importation?" He tried not to think of where his hand was, but he could imagine she would feel good in his arms entirely. She smelled good even after work? Evil!
14 Jun 17, 11:29 PM
Ally: Ally couldn't decide if the choice not to disentangle herself from him entirely had been a conscious one or not. She'd been so involved with getting her shop off the ground, and then with it's subsequent success, that she hadn't been with anyone in...Merlin, had it been almost two years already? "Fabric and such" she answered. "I own a boutique in Hogsmeade called the Clockwork Rose. My new line released this week and there was a mix up with..." she trailed off, seeming to realize that this information would be of little interest. "Anyway, I had a couple of very upset customers and a supplier who was...shall we say...less than apologetic."
14 Jun 17, 11:30 PM
Ally: "Exploration?" She met his eyes and smirked. "Okay" she lowered her voice, now she was being intentional. "You have my attention."
14 Jun 17, 11:34 PM
[×]Marcos: Ha, he would never have thought she would be in a shop. "Oh style stuff? Gotcha." He frowned. "Well sometimes suppliers run into issues I guess, I've had a few of those weeks myself..." A shrug, sheepish look. "I wanted to see the world, just didn't realize that selling those services would end up sending me after plants and exotics in weird and far off places. Least I get to go oddball places. Not the best pay, but plenty of travel." He tried to smile, knowing most girls he met were interested i n settled guys with steady incomes.
14 Jun 17, 11:39 PM
Ally: She laughed, "style stuff" she confirmed. "A specific kind called Steampunk." She couldn't remember his blood status, and so was unsure if he would be familiar. Increasingly fascinated by his description, she didn't appear overly concerned with his mention of money. "Who cares what you get paid if you're doing something you love?" she argued. Dancing had paid very little beyond travel and accommodation, and while her fashion design adventure was beginning to pay dividends, it was still small change compared to the kind of opulence with which she had grown up. Ally had never given much thought to money or lackthereof. She prized experience and memories far above anything material, and she'd been making her own clothes since her early teens. "The travel's the thing isn't it?" She seemed certain of this. "I did a lot of it during my time with a ballet company out of France. I spent a couple of years after school touring."
14 Jun 17, 11:43 PM
[×]Marcos: If she was in fashion then she was rich and out of his league. Not surprising these days. "Steampunk? Oh wait, where they use metal in everything and goggles are high style?" Oh now that wasn't at all what he had thought she meant! "Well, usually my stomach cares a lot," he chuckled then the couches slid to the right and his arm might have tightened around her waist a bit. "I don't often get to travel in places where there would be ballet. That would be a change! No, down in forbidden forests, mountain temples, and trucking through snowy passes. France sounds like a lovely place to be sent to!"
14 Jun 17, 11:47 PM
Ally: "Something like that" she agreed. "How long are you in town? You could come by the shop sometime and I could show you if you like?" She frowned briefly, wondering if he meant he was going hungry, but not quite comfortable asking. The idea of poverty was a decidedly foreign concept. Her eyes lit up as he described his travels and she nodded. "I would trade you in a heartbeat" she argued. "You get to have adventures. I got to have half a dozen catty roommates in low budget hotel rooms." She shrugged, "your way sounds much more fun."
14 Jun 17, 11:50 PM
[×]Marcos: He paused and then raised an eyebrow. "Well there was an opera once. Damndest thing, right in the middle of this jungle ridge and no roads for miles. Might have been twenty of us in the crowd, just wandered into it. That was sort of surreal." He looked surprised. "Uh, maybe a week, I don't know. Depends on the client. But sure, I could drop in if that's not in the way." Hotel rooms. God he was sick of those so he understood! "Better then snoring companions in the forest. Don't even get me started on the d@mn monkeys, those pesky buggers..." He grinned, showing he only half meant it
14 Jun 17, 11:53 PM
Ally: It was obvious in her expression that she was listening avidly. "I would love to have seen it" she murmured, having leaned in closer in her excitement. Her eyes shown with it. As the subject shifted, she didn't pull away just yet. "Day after tomorrow" she offered softly. "I should have this whole mess sorted by then." She gave him a soft, half-smile. "I'll take your word for it" she teased him.
14 Jun 17, 11:58 PM
Marcos: Surprisingly she seemed interested. Was he under a confusion spell? He glanced around but no one was paying them attention, just gripping their couches. "Ah d@mn, and here I am fresh out of pensives..." He nodded to her word, wondering if he was getting into something tricky. "Sure, that sounds good. Be nice to do something different in a civilized place," he chuckled weakly. He reacted to the teasing with a "They are! Little--" there was a loud bang and they all slid to the front and he had to pull her back onto his lap to avoid hitting the wall which showed he was strong enough "--thieves, d@mn I hate this thing..."
15 Jun 17, 12:04 AM
Ally: She grinned at him. "Shame, that." Her voice was low, for his ears only, though she was still smiling warmly. She smirked, "depends on your definition of civilized. Most wizards aren't terribly fond of muggle motorbikes and Victorian corsets." They slid forward suddenly, and she was relieved when he pulled her close, preventing her from a surely painful collision course. She was mildly impressed by the ease with which he did it. Hardly needing an excuse, she used it it anyway, leaning into him as the bus turned and they jerked back to their original positions. Now pressed firmly to his body, she laughed. "Well, I guess this is one way to get to know someone better" she observed, making no move to separate the two of them, waiting to see if he would do so or...not.
15 Jun 17, 12:09 AM
[×]Marcos: His smile grew a bit larger. "My defintion is people not trying to kill me or blow dart me so sounds fair enough." When she was pressed up against him he felt hier interest in her eyes and suddenly smiled more confidently. That sounded promising! "Well we have known each other a long time, right? Just missed each other as we...grew more adult." He could have said mature, but it didn't fit the situation! "It's way better then some places I've been, I'll say that! And while I'm not a fan of the bus, I'm really enjoying the company."
15 Jun 17, 11:10 AM
Ally: Her eyes widened and she looked for a moment to be contemplating whether he might be joking. When she realized he was serious, she smirked. "No promises" It was the change in his tone that gave it away. He was interested, at least a bit. She laughed softly, "Right, just missed each other in passing. You were a bit occupied with the Valerio twins in school if the rumor mill could be trusted" she observed. She'd been a bit busy with...well...many things. His comment about her company earned him a softer, warmer smile. She bit her lip and raised her eyes to his. "So, got any big plans for tonight?" She knew where his mind would likely go, but she wasn't planning to be quite that direct, and she would enjoy the thrown look on his face if he took the bait.
15 Jun 17, 02:27 PM
[×]Marcos: Another chuckle escaped him, but he didn't miss her eyes widening. "It's true, there's a few tribes out there that still attack all outsiders." A roll of his eyes. "Yeah, they were...tricky. They both found other guys though." The open invitation caught him a bit off guard, but he'd heard it could happen. No able to believe his luck that way, he raised an eyebrow saying "My plans tonight included finding food and then a place to sleep in that order," with an uncertain laugh right after. "Otherwise my schedule is pretty open. Why, you have something in mind for entertainment?"
15 Jun 17, 02:40 PM
Ally: "Sounds dangerous" she admitted, not that it deterred her. "I heard. I think the whole of wizarding Britain was talking about it when Giana married Draco." He spoke of food and a place to sleep and she smiled. "Well, I have a guest room and some pretty impressive cooking repertoire if you're interested" she offered easily. "Everyone loves a home cooked meal right?" She left the invitation hanging a moment before adding, "We can see about entertainment after...if you like." She hadn't made a decision about him yet after all. She wanted to know what made him tick before she took anything further. Still, a night flirting with Marcos Jimenez sounded infinitely better than her original plan of charming damaged seams and flipping through backorder catalogs.
15 Jun 17, 02:51 PM
Marcos: He nodded. "Can be. There's not much help to call on in some places. I seem to end up in those a lot." A rueful look. "Yeah that was quite a surprise." His interest peaked; food was almost better than sex in his perspective! "Oh really? Seriously? I'd love a meal like that! Not that I think you are experienced in food from central america, but anything not from a restaurant would work right now..." He grinned. "What can I do in return?"
15 Jun 17, 02:57 PM
Ally: "Then I bet you have some incredible stories" she pointed out. The bus screeched to a sudden halt, and Ally glanced out the window when the dust settled. Smirking, she stood. "Well, this is where I get off" she offered him a challenging sort of smile. "Oh I'm sure I could find something you'll enjoy the taste of." She stood up a bit more slowly than was strictly necessary and shouldered her bag. Turning back to him, she studied him a moment before her eyes found his again. "Feel like an adventure, Marcos?" His question earned a smirk. "I'm sure you'll think of something."

15 Jun 17, 03:06 PM
Marcos: Well he hadn't been thinking of them as impressive so much, but maybe to others they would seem more real. "True. Though I've never heard stories from the fashion world either so they might interest me too." He had to let go of her as she stood which was disappointing, naturally. "So then what time and where? Or do you want to meet me somewhere and take me from there?" Her challenging look was getting him interested, but then he remembered most people too k guest gifts places... "Life is always an adventure, I know that more than most do" he grinned as she departed.
15 Jun 17, 03:11 PM
Ally: "I guess we'll have to see" She didn't exactly plan on regaling him with stories of testy models and complicated stitches. Still, he might enjoy the look of a few things very much. A glance out the window and she smirked. "I was thinking right now actually." She nodded toward the window at the small Victorian. "I know most people aren't much for living in the moment" she acknowledged, "but I've always thought it had its...merits."
15 Jun 17, 03:16 PM
[×]Marcos: "True." She surprised him with her next words and he hesitated then stood. "Uh, okay!" He stood and followed her off the bus knowing he would have to catch it at some point. "Fortunately in my line of work, punctuality is never expected." He didn't pick anything up, just followed her off.

15 Jun 17, 03:25 PM
Ally: Somewhat surprised and impressed by his willingness to go with her. She nodded to the driver who smiled at her the way most men did as they stepped off the bus to find themselves standing at the end of the stone driveway. Taking his arm, she led him through the wards and up the drive. The front door opened on its own, welcoming them into the foyer where she dropped her bag on a table by the door and slid out of her shoes and into stocking feet. "There isn't a cushioning charm in existence to make those comfortable" she confided, smiling as though she were telling him a secret.
15 Jun 17, 03:28 PM
Marcos: He followed her off the bus to a walkway and she caught his arm. Far used to places where you had to be guided in through magics he went with it willingly enough and his eyes upraised at the sight of the outside. He'd been expecting something more apartment sized! "Uh, nice house," until they entered and his turned redder. Oh he was way out of his league here.... "Uh yeah I thought they always looked like knives on the bottom of people's feet."
15 Jun 17, 03:34 PM
Ally: She laughed, "Thanks, the muggles who owned the property were getting ready to tear it down when I bought it a couple of years ago" she told him. "I convinced them to sell it to me for almost nothing. It took months to fix it up, but..." She smiled warmly as she glanced around the room. "It was worth it." She led him through the foyer and down a hallway to a door, which she pushed open and gestured him inside. "This is the guest room" she offered. "Well, this is the more masculine one anyway. The other is strictly reserved for when my cousins come to stay and its a bit...different." Especially since Zahara had recently charmed the walls to change color at will and Ash and Seth had had their turn as well. His estimation of her shoes earned a laugh. "But at least they're pretty." Which was, in fairness, how she made her living.

15 Jun 17, 03:55 PM
Marcos: She could afford a house and to have it fixed up. Yep, out of his league, How did he gravitate to women like this? "Looks nice, must have cost a bunch if it was muggle before." The room she showed him was way outside of his experiences as an adult. He looked aroundas he said "It will be fine, I'm not too worried about the gender of the room," he grinned though inwardly he was sure he would be avoiding the valuable stuff in here! "Oh well looks are important I guess." he shook his head knowing his own wasn't any sort of style. "Me, I have to pick stuff that's rugged enough to handle thick underbrush."
15 Jun 17, 04:03 PM
Ally: She smirked, and it was on the tip of her tongue to scold him for making assumptions, but she resisted. "Actually, most of the fixtures and such are still muggle. It runs on electricity. The kitchen has been tweaked some. Mum like to cook the muggle way, but magic just makes it faster sometimes you know?" She gestured around. "I designed most of the interior myself, and one of my cousins has a knack for building and architecture so it was really more blood sweat and tears than money." She did not like the idea of being thought of as some sort of trust fund brat. She led him through the room and into to the bathroom. "And this is the guest bath, please feel free to enjoy it . I doubt you have much opportunity for Jacuzzi tubs in the middle of the wilderness. She nodded to his comments about durability. "I know what you mean. Finding things that can handle the wear and tear when I go scaling can be tough
15 Jun 17, 04:12 PM
[×]Marcos: He nodded listening knowing he used normal fire to cook stuff all the time because it was a good disguise. "Ah I wouldn't know. I spend most of my time trying to appear muggle to get through remote areas. I have to do things the hard way most of the time." She showed him the bathroom and he held onto the door frame as nonchalantly as possible. "Jacuzzi? What the heck is that?" This was bigger then any bathroom he'd ever seen before even in hotels! Though he stayed in very cheap ones. "Scaling? Where do you do that around here?"
15 Jun 17, 04:16 PM
Ally: Unsurprised by his revelation, she nodded. "There's something oddly satisfying about it" she pointed out. "Plus it was really important to my mom's parents that we know how to handle things without magic. They own a llama farm in Ireland." She grinned at his apparent confusion. "I'll show you after dinner" she promised. He questioned her, and she laughed. "Not here so much, and it's s been a while. I did it at Hogwarts all the time. Beyond that there are some places on the island that are good for it. The place dad's family lives I mean." She led him back through. "I'm going to go get started on dinner. Do you need a minute?" She wasn't sure where he'd been before the bus, and it occurred to her he might like a few minutes to himself to relax.
15 Jun 17, 04:26 PM
[×]Marcos: He nodded. "I remember the classes in school, but they told you really nothing compared to living it. I've learned a lot since then." Llama farm? Seriously? "That interesting, eh? Okay." She mentioned an island as well as a farm and he gave her a look. "Llama farm and a island? You grew up different it sounds like." Maybe not so much the rich girl as he had first thought, but he did remember her family was rich from somewhere. "Sure, I'll go get cleaned up and then find you after. It's been a couple of days since a hotel."
15 Jun 17, 04:33 PM
Ally: "That's true" she agreed. "The practical does seem a bit more complicated than the theory." She enjoyed having caught him off guard immensely. "Yes, a llama farm. Mum's parents believe it's really important never to take anything for granted." She shrugged, "I spent a lot of summers on the farm growing up. We all did." Her smile became a bit more mischievous. "Dad's family were pirates, and the island has been in the family for....longer than anyone cares to really think about." She nodded, "sure, if you go back the way we came, the kitchen is off to the right of the foyer" she told him. "I'll be there when you're done." Stepping back, she turned, hips swaying maybe a touch more than necessary as she left the room, closing the door behind her. In the kitchen, she considered briefly before deciding on something Italian. The recipes were simple, and she had had an incredibly long day after all. She turned on a small radio in the corner of the room, preferring to cook with music. With

Ally: a wave of her wand, ingredients flew from the shelves and began assembling themselves midair. Dough formed and shifted into perfectly square shells, which she then stuffed with different cheeses before assembling the sauce and settling the whole thing to simmer on the stove. The bread was easier, rising before her eyes until the smell wafted through the house.
15 Jun 17, 04:42 PM
Marcos: He nodded to the part about the farm and then said incredulously "Hang on, your family OWNS an island??" That didn't jive with the picture that had been forming, but it did fit earlier with the wealth stuff. Confused about who she was, he headed back to the bathroom, stripped down (pulling some soap and shampoo from his bag around his neck) and scrubbed down, eventually trimming the light beard as well in the shower. Clean, he pulled out some reserve clothes from his neck bag (they were rolled up so they fit in and out of the small opening) he did a cleaning spell on them before slipping into them and putting everything away in the bag again, his one wizard item used daily. Cleaned up and feeling more alert, he looked around the bedroom shaking his head at how pricey it looked and then mused how he had slept in smaller rooms than the bathtub. Finding his way out of this part of the house towards the kitchen and found it by smell. Taken aback by the look he stopped in the door a minute and then entered saying "Well this really is a different room..."

15 Jun 17, 04:47 PM
Ally: She turned at the sound of his voice from her place at the stove where she had been stirring the nearly finished pasta. "NeoVictorian" she supplied. "Also known as Steampunk." She turned back to the stove. "I've been fascinated with it since I was a kid." Laying the spoon aside on a small holding tray, she turned her focus to him. "I hope you don't mind Italian, I was feeling something simple tonight." Padding across the room to the refrigerator, she bent and resurfaced with a bottle of red wine. "Would you like some? It's good for unwinding sometimes."
15 Jun 17, 04:52 PM
Marcos: He repeated it looking around at the surfaces. "Neo-Victorian. Interesting, not seen anything like that before." No historian, he could still imagine it went back to an older time. "How did you get into that style? I bet it's unusual." A nod. "I haven't had it in a while and never outside of a restaurant so it sounds good!" Choosing a stool at the bar he saw her bend over with interested eyes. "Wine? Sure, why not." Alchol, he had learned, varied a lot in different cultures and accepting it as a guest was something that was expected. "I've built up quite a tolerance for alcohol over the years to my surprise. It's crazy what some people drink."
15 Jun 17, 04:58 PM
Ally: "You're not alone" she answered. "It's not really something you see around, especially in the wizarding world. It's a muggle subculture." She nodded, "Dad's really into it. He's the one who got me interested in that, and muggle motorbikes" she added, seemingly nonchalant but hoping to startle him again. "We used to build them together, still do when we can find the time." He seemed happy enough with her dinner choice. Plating it from the pot on the stove, she slid the fresh bread onto the plates and sat them on the bar. Pouring first one glass and then another, she offered one to him and slid onto a stool at the bar where she'd placed the food. "Oh I know, I tried a bit of everything while I was touring. "Some of the stuff in Germany would serve better as paint thinner." She crossed her legs one over the other this time, rather than at the ankles, intentionally drawing his eye she hoped. "I've always tried to be aware of my limits. You'd be amazed how often some guys think getting a

15 Jun 17, 05:04 PM
[×]Marcos: As she spoke he listened, still looking at the water tank. "It's sort of cool. Did you do more of the house with that in mind?" Motorcycles. "Ha, if you had seen some of the ones I have ridden! Held together with bobwire and gum and string." The building part surprised him. "Seriously? Like, build or jury-rig? Do you enjoy engineering stuff?" The food smelled good and his stomach made a loud sound of protest. "Excuse me!" He laughed and then listened as she spoke. He sniffed the drink and chuckled at her comment. "And new visitors. There are a few places where tricking the guest into trying something disgusting is still high entertainment. I've had enough drinks prented to me with dead animals in them to last a lifetime."
15 Jun 17, 05:08 PM
Ally: "Actually, the whole thing is some variation of Victorian, Steampunk, or Gothic. I like doing things people don't expect" she pointed out. "When you grow up with so many people around, it's hard to stand out, even as a meta." She thought about his question "Both. Some bikes we built, others we tweaked to see what sort of spells could be blended with the hardware. I've even got one that flies." His stomach rumbled and she laughed. Raising her glass, she smirked at him. "To adventures and unexpected guests" she offered, before taking a sip. "By all means, dig in." She took a bite, then nearly spat it out again. "Dead animals, seriously?""
15 Jun 17, 05:15 PM
Marcos: Yes he hadnt expected most of this so maybe that was the key. "Oh, I had forgotten about the meta part! Been a long time I guess." She had to have grown up in a very different family. Sounded like her experiences were as varied as his just in a different set of places. "I bet. I only had a pair of brothers, I think you had more than a dozen if I remember right?" A smile. "Most of the ones I've experienced are about a hundred miles from the nearest place for replacement parts. People get inventive." He clinked his glass against her softly and took a long draw from it. It was nice, much less kick thankfully then most of the so called 'beers' he had to drink some places. As he forked up the first bite he made a grimace. "Yes, mice, snakes, lizards, all kinds of stuff. And you can't refuse the drinks or risk the guest traditions. One of the main drawbacks to exploration. Least I have not run into the Yanomama yet."
15 Jun 17, 05:19 PM
Ally: Ally nodded, remembering Madden and...Merlin what had the other one's name been? She'd ask him later maybe. She smiled affectionately. "Actually, it was just the three siblings, two brothers and a sister. The rest were cousins, and if I told you how many there were you'd never believe me." She wrinkled her nose. "I think I would risk it" she observed. Another bite, another slightly longer sip from her glass. The warmth of it crept through her slowly. But his voice drew her attention again. "The what?"
15 Jun 17, 05:28 PM
Marcos: "Oh? I'm getting people mixed up then. Too many kids in school to keep straight." The pasta tasted great and he was quite glad he had accepted the invitation for the food alone! He ate with enthusiasm pausing only to answer her question. "Tribe in South America. They live to give all visitors a drug which makes green snot pour out of your nose like a fountain. The muggle scientists call them 'you bastards.' I've managed to avoid them so far."
15 Jun 17, 05:36 PM
Ally: A nod, "I think you've probably got the right family. Like I said, I have twenty-something aunts and uncles and....well...a LOT of cousins. My youngest aunt was only a year ahead of me. Her name is Zahara." He'd be likely to remember Zah for her hair alone. She wrinkled her nose again at his explanation. "I still say your job is amazing...but maybe a bit more disgusting than I previously imagined. Finishing her plate, she stood to take it to the sink where it began washing itself along with the pots and pan she'd used. "I started dancing because I wanted to see the world" she admitted. "But as much as I loved it there really was no time to see anything between tour dates and rehearsal schedules."
15 Jun 17, 05:53 PM
[×]Marcos: A shake of his head. "Right family wrong branch? If you have that many it must be the right one..." A second hesitation. "All of them have different hair, right? Okay that's it then." A nod though his mouth was full. His job could get gross sometimes. He swallowed a b=too-big bite. "Yeah but the scenery makes up for it. I can truly say I've been in places most of the world doesn't know about." He finished off his plate in short order and debated about asking for more deciding it wasn't nice. He wasn't exactly a growing boy anymore. "Good stuff, you learned that cooking very well." She mentioned the dancing and he pursed his lips. "I think most jobs requiring art also have to have a lot of practice so yeah, I can see that. My main requirement is survival really and dogged determination to get where I'm going." Gah mudslides...
15 Jun 17, 06:00 PM
Ally: You're thinking of my aunts and uncles, the Silver-Moons. My dad's parents had a lot of kids, and several of them are really close to my age. I'm Alleanna Moon, the oldest granddaughter. My parents got started young." She smiled indulgently, it was always the hair people remembered. Pausing a moment, her hair turned a surreal shade of red, almost copper, and she nodded. "No one's repeated the same color twice, though mine is pretty close to dad's." She turned, noted his plate was empty, and nodded toward the stove. "Want seconds? I made plenty. I just don't like to eat a huge meal before bed." It made her sluggish, and she might need her energy tonight. She laughed ruefully. "I kind of had to. My grandmum on my mom's side is Italian. It kind of came with the territory. I learned most of these recipes from my greatgrandparents. They migrated here from Italy." She smirked, "we have the dogged determination in common then. Building my boutique and reputation from scratch took a lot of

Ally: work, especially since I'm so young. The only time the fashion industry is interested in young women is for potential models." She took his plate and piled more food on it. "You'll need your strength after all" she teased him with a mischievous look over her shoulder.
15 Jun 17, 06:07 PM
[×]Marcos: Ah so he had remembered right. "Interesting trait to have passed along. I don't think we have anything in ours" except being animagus "so I think that's pretty cool." She offered so he glanced down and then back up with a shamed grin. "Uh yes please if you don't mind, that was really good." He handed his plate over. She mentioned the fashion industry and he listened carefully. "I bet. Well, young women sell stuff easier then guys. I don't have the pretty face so I got the grunt work," he chuckled and then felt a flare of interest in her comments. "Jacuzzi's must be pretty tricky to maneuver then, cause this is going to give me a lot of energy to put to work..."
15 Jun 17, 06:13 PM
Ally: Her hair shifted back to the deep brown shade she wore most often. "I can borrow any of them, but since I work with both magicals and muggles, I tend to keep it natural unless I'm going for a more gothic look. I usually reserve that for shows and such." The corners of her mouth turned up. "Sex sells you mean" she corrected him. She slid the plate back in front of him and then reached up, clasping her hands and stretching, causing both top and bottom to rise as she rolled her neck before she nodded. "Somehow I expect you enjoy a little tricky maneuvering now and then" she observed softly. Here, in the privacy of her own home, she was much more in control than she had been on the bus where things might have shifted at any moment. "I'm sure we can find some way to burn it off." She nodded to the plate. "Not bad then, hmm?"
15 Jun 17, 06:21 PM
[×]Marcos: He looked a tad envious. "Okay now I'm jealous. That would be very handy for me." A shrug at the point about sex. "It's a great motivator I know that." He was taking another forkful when she distracted him with a stretch. Tricky decision! Hesitantly he added "I have gotten good at it, though I am always up for more practice." He licked his lips before taking a forkful without looking at it, his eyes more interested in someone. "I'm up for suggestions, it is your house after all." Swallowing he nodded and then gave her a cheeky grin. "Yes, but anticipating it made it taste even better! I admire your....skills."
15 Jun 17, 06:29 PM
Ally: She smirked, "I used to mess around with it a lot more when I was younger. Especially when I was dancing. I was a bit too petite naturally, but it was a pretty easy fix. Now it's mostly just hair color and maybe a tweak here and there for fun, like playing dress up." She studied him, let her eyes linger as they traveled down his body and back up again. "Makes perfect or so I hear. I'd be very interested to test the theory regardless." She titled her head and smiled at him. "Oh I am a very big fan of building anticipation" she told him softly in a voice that lingered over the words, hinting at something more if he were willing to reach out and take it. She enjoyed drawing people in, but bringing out the more sensual side of a person was what she enjoyed most. She liked to see the difference between the public face and the...baser nature. She was willing to admit to being very curious about Marcos Jimenez. She waited until he had swallowed before she smirked at him. "I admire your...everything" she assured him, being sure to stand just far enough away that he'd have to reach for her to touch her. It was a part of the game she enjoyed very much.
15 Jun 17, 06:36 PM
[×]Marcos: Another grin. "I'm game for a test. I think we can all learn from each other. Besides, I'm sure I can always learn more and improve through practice. It's why i rarely resist trying new things." He paused. "Except for crocodiles and pythons. I've never joined in an invite to wrestle those." She mentioned admiring him and his eyes took on a new look. Although he wasn't finished with the food, he stood saying "My bad, I should have let you explore some earlier. After all I did get to hold you in my arms on the bus briefly enjoyable as that was." He put his arms out at his sides smiling. "Feel free if there's something you want to check out more."
15 Jun 17, 06:49 PM
Ally: He stood, surprising her, and she took a step back as he did so. He opened his arms and she smirked, considering for a moment. Remembering their closeness on the bus, she stepped closer, after a moment's hesitation, she smiled mischievously up at him. "First thing's first then she took his collar and pulled him down, forcefully enough to show intent but not so much as to damage his shirt. She brought her lips to his and kissed him soundly, but pulled back more quickly than she wanted to, releasing him. She wanted very much to leave him wanting just now.
15 Jun 17, 06:55 PM
Marcos: It was a boldness test since he doubted she would go for his most vulnerable spots, but she did direct very well and he grinned. "Very nice indeed! And I promise I don't bite, but shall we play show and tell or is this one for one?" He winked at her keeping his hands out to remain non-threatening.
15 Jun 17, 06:59 PM
Ally: "Shame" she teased him. She wasn't much for the rough stuff, but she liked to see the surprised look on guys' faces when she hinted at it. "One for one doesn't sound like much fun" she observed, with easy movements, she began working the buttons of her blouse, but slowly, keeping her eyes on his. "I've never played show and tell, maybe you ought to teach me."
15 Jun 17, 07:04 PM
[×]Marcos: He chuckled, but then she did something which surprised him. "One for one depends a lot on the individual, but--" His eyes got a tad wider as she began with the buttons "I think I won't need to show you much before you catch on." Another button and his eyes came up to hers directly before narrowing. "I think I may be in trouble..."

15 Jun 17, 07:06 PM
Ally: She let the shirt slide off her shoulders to the floor before she slid the tight skirt over her hips and let it drop as well. "I think I have the show part pretty well handled." She stepped closer, but didn't touch him. "What do you think?"
15 Jun 17, 07:15 PM
Marcos: As she went from shirt to skirt his mouth dropped open at least some. What she was wearing underneath it... "Whoa..." His eyes widened appreciatively. "I think I am glad I know the rules suddenly. I should mention that actions have to suffice when you run out of clothes... Cause there is no way I am wearing that much in layers." he swallowed looking down her frame and stopping on the top of her stockings oddly. "Better then I could have imagined!" Slowly he undid his own overshirt, sliding it off his arms to show his undershirt as he turned around facing away from her to slide that one up and off, letting his arms flex his shoulders as he did so as his mind worked trying to think how to do the rest in a suitably impressive manner. A glance over his shoulder saw he eyes then he turned slowly, letting his decent chest show off with a touch of hair across his chest. Two scars along his side close together appeared like claw marks.

15 Jun 17, 07:19 PM
Ally: Suitably pleased by his reaction, she nodded. "I think I can manage" she assured him, her voice soft. Her eyes fell to his now bare chest and traveled over him. Stepping forward, she traced the lines of his scars with glancing fingertips. "Where did these come from?" she asked him. Leaning forward, she brushed her lips over the lines. "Another adventure?" she murmured against his skin before returning her gaze to his and stepping back far enough to break physical contact.
15 Jun 17, 07:24 PM
[×]Marcos: He swallowed. Oh she was dangerous for self-control! "Sort of. Panther, Brazil. Claws were infected, but healed with me stuck with the scars." A hand to the side of her face halting her as he kissed her forehead before she stepped back entirely. "It was a close thing, almost didn't get to safety." d@mn she looks good....
15 Jun 17, 07:49 PM
Ally: Startled, both by his story and the oddly tender gesture, she studied his eyes for a long moment, recognizing something in them that unnerved her. Trying to recover herself, she smiled. "Only cats have nine lives, Marcos." She was nervous now, not overly so, but the brief serious moment had interrupted her focus.
15 Jun 17, 07:56 PM
[×]Marcos: She had tried to break physical contact, but he had caught some of it before she escaped cleanly and it had clearly caught her attention. Soft smile as he leaned over "Very true, Ally, and they make the best hunters." Now he caught her lips in a sideways turn of his head, kissing her with interest and a bit more edge then before holding it after a few seconds before pulling back slightly but not out of reach. "And those who tempt a tiger risk losing themselves in the temptation. Doesn't stop the game though, not for me." She wasn't the only shape-shifter here, but he wasn't entangled in her enough to give away THAT secret as it would give away his brothers as well. That required far more commitment than he could give her at this moment, but seduction was a challenge indeed.
15 Jun 17, 08:29 PM
Ally: She smirked at him, teasing. "A tiger are you? I think I'm going to have to see some proof for that particular claim" she gave him a mischievous look. "What's life without a little risk anyway?" Or a lot. His kiss had been more intense than hers, and not not one to be outdone, she kissed his shoulder, grazing her teeth very softly across his skin before she trailed her lips from his shoulder down his chest, the task made easier by their height difference. After a few moments, she looked up at him again. "Me either."
15 Jun 17, 08:37 PM
Marcos: A throaty growl (not threatening) from his throat which he had long learned how to do did sound very close to a tiger growl but he was looking her right in the eyes as his hands reached out and pulled her close by her hips. "Proof is in the pudding, Ally," as she grazed his chest then he did something he hadn't tried with a woman before. Suddenly bending over to her face, he slid a hand under both of her cheeks and pulled her up into his arms putting them face to face! "Good, cause I think you just asked for proof." And he kissed her, soundly and with desire flowing through him as he stepped slowly forward, pressing her back against the counter as he aggressively sought her tongue with his!
15 Jun 17, 08:45 PM
Ally: She felt the growl as the vibrations traveled through her skin. Mischief had given way to a sort of wicked gleam. He picked her up with surprising ease, and she wrapped her legs around his waist as she felt the counter against her skin. After two years of near celibacy she should have known it wouldn't take much for her to catch fire. She kissed him back, almost battling in the fierceness of her response to him. She pressed her body as close as possible to his and moaned into his mouth as her fingers dug into his hair.
15 Jun 17, 08:51 PM
Marcos: Being past words, the two wrapped around each other and began a battle of tongues, indulging in sensual and unexpectedly strong desires for physical connections. It wasn't long before he slid her off the counter and stopping the kiss, moved to the hallway to carry her to the bedroom she had set up for him. Nibbling on her neck while trying to watch where he was going was tricky, but he made it, letting her fall back onto the bed as he fell with her, coming up on his elbows just long enough to capture her lips again.
15 Jun 17, 08:55 PM
Ally: She knew with some far-detached part of her mind that they were moving toward the bedroom, but she was too busy trying to get her hands on as much of him as possible to care. He was warm and solid under her fingers, and the feeling of his lips on her neck was surprisingly primal. She hadn't been this attracted to anyone since...the thought evaporated as she fell back onto the bed, meeting him halfway and arching up to feel his body against hers again. Merlin how she had missed this, and how surprising it was to find this sort of fire hidden behind someone she'd assumed to be fairly calm.
15 Jun 17, 09:01 PM
Marcos: She was more than willing, she actively pursued what he also wanted and thus they moved fast. Clothing was shed fairly smoothly in a haphazard way to either side till they were nearly nude. The rip sound of his boxers being torn off might have surprised him if he hadn't approved wholeheartedly.
15 Jun 17, 09:07 PM
Ally: The shiver of satisfaction she got from the sight of him was almost satisfying unto itself. She molded herself to him, surrendering completely in a way she hadn't in years. She needed this, to give in, to feel, to be lost to sensation. It felt like waking up after a long sleep. It wasn't until the morning, when she woke up and realized she was draped over warm muscle, that the haze had cleared somewhat. She disentangled herself as carefully as possible, trying not to wake him just yet. Casting a soft 'tempus' she realized she still had a couple of hours before she needed to be ready for work.
15 Jun 17, 09:11 PM
[×]Marcos: Not having found a partner who excited him in some time, Marcos threw himself into love making with enthusiasm exhausting himself several times over before he fell asleep with her draped over his body. He dreamed a dreamless sleep and was still deeply under when she first stirred. Fortunately his changes had to be conscious ones so his secret was not revealed. Clothes lay all over the sides of the room where they had been tossed in their play as she woke up and sat up..
15 Jun 17, 09:13 PM
Ally: Not wanting to be caught lingering over a one night stand, Ally climbed out of bed as quietly as possible and began padding softly to her room. She needed a shower, and then maybe she'd make them both breakfast. As flashes of the night before returned, she smiled to herself. Yes, he had definitely earned breakfast.
15 Jun 17, 09:17 PM
Marcos: When he awoke, He pulled himself up briefly on his elbows looking around blearily. Finding himself alone, but smelling her on himself and the sheets he smiled. "Well that hasn't happened in awhile." Yawning he pulled himself out of bed to the bathroom and took care of business then went back to the bed and sat in a different pair of shorts and picked up her clothes from around the room, smiling at the stockings and frowning over the torn up boxers. How had he not torn off those panties of hers? Trying to remember what had happened, He had hers in a pile as he cleaned his with his wand and repaired his underwear.

14 Jun 17, 10:59 PM
