15 Oct 15, 09:09 PM Giana: Giana had dreaded this particular assignment. She hated group projects, and of course she would get Draco Malfoy, the single most arrogant, intimidating human being in the entire year. However, he was also first in their year, a full two spots ahead of Giana herself, and for that at least, she was grateful. She dropped her bag on the table in the study room she had reserved, and it landed with an audible thud. While she didn't particularly like the idea of being alone with him, she also liked peace when she was working. Taking a seat, she took several feet worth of notes and a book she had checked out the week before and began copying passages. Hopefully, several deep breaths would help her relax enough to survive this encounter. 15 Oct 15, 09:13 PM [×] Draco: Draco sauntered through the Library. a book on graphic arts of a questionable nature tucked under one arm. Upon reaching the door, he looked around and smiled when he saw a few looking his way before he opened the book, finding a particularly naughty and suggestive piece of full page art and holding it to his chest as if keeping it to himself before he entered. "Valerio." He shook his head. "Don't you ever relax?" 15 Oct 15, 09:16 PM Giana: The sound of his voice startled her even though she'd been expecting him, and she jumped. "N-not when I have w-work to do, M-Malfoy." she answered without looking up at him. Maybe if she didn't have to look him in the eye, it would be easier. For some reason, he scared the hell out of her. It wasn't even the fact that she knew his family was into the dark arts, her own family was deep into them as well. It went...deeper with him somehow. 15 Oct 15, 09:19 PM Draco: He walked around and leaned over her shoulder to see what she was working on. "Already categorizing? COme on, this is going to be about smart choices. Most of a list that long will be worthless." He set the book down open on the table as a complete distraction with a smile. "Yes well, I think it would make more sense to start with the big name ones first anyway." 15 Oct 15, 09:23 PM Giana: His being in her personal space made her more tense if such a thing were possible. She glanced up when she saw him put the book down, only to double take, wide-eyed and flushing darkly. "What the hell is that?" and for a moment she forgot to be self conscious. Realizing what she'd said belatedly, her blush deepened and she went silent. Even more guarded than before, she spoke very softly. "Y-yes, but a c-omplete list w-wont have to b-be added to l-later." 15 Oct 15, 09:29 PM [×] Draco: his smile grew. His main interest in this one was if she got 'loosened up' if she was anywhere near as fun as her sister. "Oh just some light reading, 'boning' up on some independent study. Maybe you can help me with it." Sliding the chair directly next to her he slid into it facing her with his legs spread lightly. "Better to take in the main lines first and save time. For instance, how many people have you seen" a smile a bit bigger "Growing or changing?" 15 Oct 15, 09:33 PM Giana: She snorted, having resolved at this point not to look at him again if she could avoid it. When he slid in next to her, however, her reaction was immediate, and she slid her chair over a few inches until she was fully comfortable with the distance between them. "C-could you b-be a little l-less obvious p-perhaps. Aren't S-slytherins supposed to b-be subtle?" Annoyed, she closed the book and turned to give him a long-suffering look, abandoning her effort not to look at him. "I k-know what you're doing and it isn't f-funny. Can we j-just get to w-work please?" 15 Oct 15, 09:37 PM Draco: He gave her a blank look, changing his tactics a tad. "Obvious? Then you picked up already it's for a study on visual interpretations of art and their emotional impacts on various genders? I'm surprised." Keeping his features quite neautral as if taken aback though he was not, he shook his head. "It was a legitimate question pertaining to our assignment. Observation of shape changing is quite an important part of it. So I'll repeate, have ou seen much growth changing magic before?" 15 Oct 15, 09:42 PM Giana: Startled by the sudden shift in his expression, she wondered very briefly if she had misjudged him. "S-somhow I n-never took you for an a-art enthusiast" she murmured wryly. Her tone was no longer hostile, but just as guarded. "I h-haven't actually s-seen one, no. J-just pictures...in b-books." She glanced at the book he'd brought again almost as if she couldn't help it. N-Nadya is the artist in our f-family" she offered, as though apologizing for the possibility of having misjudged him. She blushed a new, but tried to study the page from an artistic perspective. No such luck, now flustered, she turned the question back on him. "H-have you?" 15 Oct 15, 09:46 PM Draco: He nodded, pleased to see her take the bait. Reaching out he pulled the book closer and flipped the page to a picture filled with some mix of sexual and torture. "There is a theory there is a dark art using paintings as mediums for influecing minds. So the first thing needed is to establish a control group and that means judging a person's emotional reactions to art." He shrugged. "I have. It's painful for most apprently. SO your list wiill need to be redone to start with stronger, more endurance heavy people to compare against each other first." He nodded and smirked. "Then you would be a good control subject. I'll trade you help on one project for another." Wondering if she had any boldness in her, he didn't close his legs at al, but watched her. 15 Oct 15, 09:52 PM Giana: Still blushing darkly, she studied the picture when he turned the page. Equal parts horrified and fascinated, she studied it in the manner of someone who would look away, but couldn't, her expression conflicted. She hadn't thought about the sensations behind growth magic, and it annoyed her that he was right, which showed on her face. "d@mn it" she mumbled, then her eyes flew up to his and she bit her lip. "Sorry" She held up the parchment to the tip of her wand and watched it burn up. She arched a brow at him, shyness temporarily forgotten. "Do all of these pictures involve..." She searched for the right words, "creative sensuality?" 15 Oct 15, 09:55 PM [×] Draco: A nod and he leaned back slightly in the chair. "Appology accepted." She asked and he gave her a look as if she wasn't thinking. "It would hardly get emotional responses if it wasn't provoking. To establish true records one needs true reactions. So yes. If the dark art is as subtle as it sounds like, they could be tucked through say, the Ministry and no one would realize..." 15 Oct 15, 09:57 PM Giana: She smirked, looking, for a moment, very like her sister. "There are other w-ways of provoking emotional responses, M-malfoy." Because of her upbringing, Giana wasn't as phased as one might expect by his last comment. "Clever" she decided. "D-did someone a-assign you that. Or is it a h-hobby?" 15 Oct 15, 10:00 PM [×] Draco: He nodded. "Of course there are, but none of them would catch your attention nor make you feel there was a reason for such study. Hence the first one needs tobe impressive, no?" A glance away, feigning a bit of discomfort. "More part of a study where it was glossed over and the possibilities for a special assignment seemed ripe for opportunity. But before I commit I needed to know there was a way to separate it all of course. Interested? Worth dealing for?" 15 Oct 15, 10:05 PM Giana: It made sense, in a strange way, and it wasn't as if Gia was struggling with her school work. In fact, it all felt a little...easy. She needed a challenge in her life, and this was, he was...definitely that. He glanced away from her and she wondered if she'd asked him something a bit too personal. It was on the tip of her tongue to retract the question when he spoke. "Opportunistic to the l-last" she commented. "Now you're S-Slytherin is sh-showing." She wondered if hers ever came through, but she doubted it. Luca and Nadya were the Slytherins, she was her mother's daughter, endlessly academic, buried in her books. "Possibly" she tried to channel her inner snake. "If it f-felt m-maybe just a l-little bit less l-like m-making a d-deal with the d-devil." 15 Oct 15, 11:15 PM [×] Draco: He nodded, accepting it as a compliment. Then he let out a bark of a laugh. "Ha! Is that what they call me now? Just because of my background, or is it the jealousy that I have out performed all of the Ravenclaws in the year above me and don't study the books hard?" He raised a finger forestalling her answer before he added "Take note, Valerio, experience really is the best teacher. Books will get you far, but it's the practical application which makes things click." 15 Oct 15, 11:18 PM Giana: She opened her mouth to respond, but obligingly closed it again when he spoke. When he had finished, the corners of her lips turned up. "L-little of both I s-suspect" she answered him honestly. "Y-you do have a b-bit of a r-reputation y-you know. Wh-what am I saying. Of c-course you k-know." She arched a brow at him, still wearing a ghost of a smirk. "D-do you think you could manage to remember my name if we're g-going to w-work together?" 15 Oct 15, 11:24 PM [×] Draco: Satisfaction in his features, he nodded. "Not all my learning is in school, but I am sure you can guess that. One does not need to use magic to experience it." he shrugged, looking smug. "Success. It brings out all the jealousy. Let people wonder and they dream up all sorts of excuses and explanations. So are we dealing or what?" She spoke and he gave her a harder look. "I don't know. Do you dare use the devils first name? Or is that showing too much familiarity?" 15 Oct 15, 11:31 PM Giana: "I w-would guess m-most of u-us know a th-thing or t-two you c-couldn't find it a book...or in a Hogwarts c-classroom." He reminded her a bit of Seth Cole, and she wondered how he would feel about the comparison, but she wasn't afraid of Seth, and the more he talked, the less she was afraid of Draco. He obviously enjoyed pushing her buttons, but she was willing to bet she could surprise him, and that was a deal she would make with herself. She looked, of all things, amused by his assumption. "N-not everyone is j-jealous, you know" she pointed out. "Some of us just know b-better than to g-get close to a snake." Considering the vast majority of her family on both sides had been Slytherin, she reconsidered. "W-well, some snakes" Still, she enjoyed speaking to him more than she would have thought. It was nice to have someone on her level. "It's just a name, Draco" she answered, for once managing to control the natural stutter her nerves caused. "I d-doubt you and I w-will ever be f-familiar" she pointed out, but then, after she had studied him another moment, she smiled. "But we're dealing, f-for now" 15 Oct 15, 11:36 PM [×] Draco: Eh, he doubted what most knew outside of it was half what he had been taught by his family, but he let that one pass. His results showed enough. "Snakes are not all the same, mind you, remember that the Lion and the Snake were best friends. Once long ago, but still. Judging a person purely on their surroundings is a bad habit you know." He raised an eye as she tried his first name noting the stutter came and went. "Giana, right?" He waited for confirmation and at her nod went on. "Giana. Do you know why you stutter? If we're going to work together I'd like to understand why that is interfering." It wasn't completely cruel, but it was a tiny sort of subtle control to mention it. But he had a point of being straight forward 'seeming' and this was one of those buttons to press. 15 Oct 15, 11:47 PM Giana: She arched a brow at him. "I'm n-not sure how much y-you know about my f-family, but I th-think it's s-safe to say I know quite a l-lot about what Snakes are l-like" she pointed out. She did smirk then, and there was definite amusement in her eyes. "Well, f-fortunately for me, I am n-neither a Snake nor a Lion" She laughed, surprising herself. "I d-don't m-make a habit of j-judging anyone" she corrected him. "I g-go by what I s-see." A subtle nod, "Right" and then both brows disappeared into her hair line as she considered his question. "Yes, I k-know why" She frowned at him, "b-bit of a personal question. I h-haven't asked you wh-why you're so d-determined to push my buttons, have I?"
15 Oct 15, 11:53 PM Draco: A tilt of his head. "I know quite a bit." He pursed his lips. "I don't know about that, there are enough Slytherins in your family for it to be in your blood.. Surely we can work together with that connection at least." Then he shook his head. "That is a direct lie. You judged me from the moment I sat down, otherwise you wouldn't have scooted away and flinched." Two could play that game! At her rejoinder he smirked even broader. "Why, I do believe we have an ego here peeking out! Giana, no one would take what i did any different then others I meet everyday. Singling yourself out as separate and important? Interesting tack to take. For your information I'm not trying, it's my nature which rubs people wrong so easily."
16 Oct 15, 12:03 AM Giana: She met his eyes, "there are a lot of things in my blood, Draco" she pointed out. "Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Russian, Italian..." She was dangerously closed to smiling at him now. "And you haven't ever judged me for being shy? or bookish or..." Here she glanced pointedly at the book, "innocent?" She was grateful for the brief sense of defensiveness that helped temper her nervous anxiety. "I flinched because you were in my personal space, and unlike a lot of the girls I'm sure you're very familiar with, I reserve my personal space for...specific people." The ego comment, however, brought back her blush, embarrassed, she started stuttering again. "I am v-very good at s-singling myself out" she acknowledged. "One of my m-many t-talents." His nature comment caused her to tilt her head and actually smile. "And yet I f-found you so utterly ch-charming." 16 Oct 15, 12:09 AM Draco: A raised eyebrow. "Oh I do count those against you, it's why it was so easy for me to spot the mistake in your list. But it's not what i judge your personality by. Or are you that easily threatened by a guy sitting beside you?" He had not closed his legs actually, still thinking it fit the situation. He held up a hand and said "Hang on, sitting beside you is personal space? I think I have a very different definition then. A professor leaning over you must give you heart attacks then." Now he was teasing her, taunting her to brazen up. He didn't miss the blush. He smiled sardonically in response. "Then maybe it's time you learned how to deal with closer contact with others, especially if we're going tobe working together on this project." Sliding his chair over pointedly he pointed at her paper and said "Your new list, for instance? I have a few names I think should be at the top of it." 16 Oct 15, 12:14 AM Giana: "I thought you probably would" she resisted the urge to roll her eyes at him, barely. Her lips twitched, "you don't know anything about my personality" she pointed out. "I'm not threatened by anything" she assured him. "I just like my space." She laughed softly at his mention of definitions. "I wouldn't doubt that" she agreed. The professor comment finally did it. She rolled her eyes at him. "It's different, and you know it." She snorted softly, "and let me guess, you're going to volunteer to teach me?" She had begun, against her better judgment, to enjoy this back and forth with him, and as a result, she had also begun to relax somewhat, though it was a tentative thing. 16 Oct 15, 12:20 AM [×] Draco: He raised another eyebrow. "No, I doubt it. Female adults over a certain age make me nervous because of my-- one of my relatives. Males don't bother me. I don't assume you would be one way or another, but you did have an odd idea to me of definition of it so you can't think I would know what you meant exactly." He turned up a hand. "Well naturally if we have to work together, your being touchy about how close I sit is going to cause issues with working off the same paper, right? And it's a waste to use two sets for one project..." 16 Oct 15, 12:23 AM Giana: She glanced at him, genuinely surprised this time. It hadn't occurred to her that he might have skeletons in the closet as well. Then again, didn't they all? "It would help" she said after a long beat of silent consideration, "If you didn't lead with your 'artistic design research' next time" she offered. The point about the project was valid, and she sighed. "Can you behave for....like five minutes then?" 16 Oct 15, 12:26 AM [×] Draco: A soft smile saying everything-is-all-right-in-the-world-because-I'm-in-it as he said "Actually I just set it down as I glanced over your work, you brought it up, but I take the point." He made a point of looking at his watch, then giving her a wink. "Five minutes. You got it." His eyes watched her reactions and Draco knew he had already scored high. She would find herself trying not to react to him and not moving away which meant she would have to get used to being closer to him then he might have managed otherwise. As an experiment to find out her similarities to her sister, this was going remarkable well so far.... 16 Oct 15, 12:35 AM Giana: She arched a brow at him as if to say that she didn't quite believe in coincidences of that size, but didn't say anything on the subject since he accepted her point. The wink earned him another eye roll in conjunction with a light blush. When she had recovered a moment later, however, she took an antique-looking watch out of her own robes and smirked at him. It reacted to her touch, glowing a moment before or opened to her. "I'll be counting then" she left it open on the table, revealing an obviously aged wizarding photograph of a man and a woman who looked very absorbed in each other. She glanced at the photograph, and her expression softened before she turned to focus on him again. "All right, so what does your project entail exactly?" 16 Oct 15, 12:43 AM [×] Draco: He didn't miss the point she was ignoring his offer to start the list and instead switched back to his own project which pleased him. "Nice watch. Does it do something besides keep time?" he saw her glance at the picture but didn't comment on it. "A series of art pieces, almost all paintings, which get reactions. I would get you to write down the first word that came to your mind for each to establish a standard list of responses. Suspected paintings which might have been tampered with would be after, and then comparing the lists of reactions to see if there is anything to the theory which needs closer examination." 16 Oct 15, 12:50 AM Giana: "Thanks, family heirloom, one of them anyway." She actually smiled at that. "Do you have any heirlooms that only do what they should?" she asked him with a note of curiosity in her voice. "The short answer is yes, its very...protective...so to speak" she elaborated. "We all have something, everyone else opted for the Slytherin colors...imagine that." He explained his project, and she considered it, "tampered with? How dangerous are we talking exactly?" Still, it was an intriguing prospect. "And in return you volunteer to completely rewrite this list while I sit next to you and read Alexander Garmond's "Guide to Early Magics"? Right?"
16 Oct 15, 01:00 AM Draco: he gave her a neutral look adding "Yes, but few of them come to school with me. Family heirlooms mostly stay at home. That's how they remain my family's." A glance over the object assured him it was certainly not a Slytherin thing. He shrugged. "It's a theory it's been done before and there are hints of the subject in a few books. I have two books, one without influence as far as I can tell and one with the subject mentioned and some of the suspect paintings. I think since they are accurate copies the pictures in the book should give us enough of a control group to tell something at least. And as far as I know nothing dangerous. It's an influencing art after all,. Not like you will be stuck reading one book forever or anything like that." He frowned at her. "Actually I offered to be more actively involved in this. You are the one who believes in high grades, right?" He smirked. "However if you get good results, sure I'll redo the list. I already know what the top of it should look like. After that it shouldn't be hard at all." A smirk. "Nor long." 16 Oct 15, 01:09 AM Giana: "Well, first thing, it won't open to anyone outside the family" she informed him, closing the watch she put it back in her pocket. "And second, there are such things as anti-theft charms you know." As she listened, she decided it didn't sound particularly difficult, though she would definitely be doing some research over the next day or two to see what she could find. She laughed softly, "I was kidding, you're right, I don't trust anyone else with my school work." Arching a brow at him. she smirked, "and how is that exactly?"
16 Oct 15, 01:15 AM Draco: "Some of our heirlooms quite a few people want to get their hands on. So no, thanks for the thought." A second before he made a face. "Why would you make a watch which could only be opened by family? Seems a bit of overkill that one. It's a watch." He suspected it did something beyond what she was saying, but it hardly mattered. besides, he was sitting directly beside her and she hadn't made a move away yet. He rolled his eyes and reached around behind her to pick up the book she had and bring it over which put him well into her personal space and she could feel his chest and arm muscles briefly. "Look," he said setting the book down in front of them both leaving his arm on the back of her chair casually, "it's about comparisons to find patterns. We already know it takes good physical health so going through the ones most obvious off the list first will make the others much easier to compare by whittling the list down." He flipped the book open to the Ministries list. "Of course, it takes will to face pain and change, but once you knock off all the obvious ones, you're more then halfway there." Influcing others was one of Draco's major talents and he felt that her getting used to feeling him casually near her in addition to smelling him would go a long way to making his experiment a success. 16 Oct 15, 05:27 PM Giana: "I can't imagine why anyone would want anything from the infamous Malfoys" she said softly, still smiling and with an obvious undertone of sarcasm. She shrugged, "my family likes to keep their secrets close" was all she said for a long moment, and then, after another beat "at least the ones some might not understand." When he reached around her, she had to resist the urge to flinch again, knowing he was doing it on purpose. The earlier tension had returned, and with it, her speech problems. She wasn't sure she'd ever had a guy pressed up against her outside her family, and she wasn't exactly sure how she felt about it. When he had retrieved the book, she exhaled, trying not to be too obvious about it. She was aware of his arm on the back of her chair, but that was easier to tolerate, and so she let it go. She nodded, still looking vaguely uncomfortable from his actions before. "N-not to m-mention a r-r-ridiculous amount of p-patience" she offered. "H-have you done any research on the 16 Oct 15, 05:28 PM Giana: effect of the M-mandrake leaf? I f-found something y-yesterday that s-suggests th-that leaves grown in greenhouses a-are less effective." (Yay, HP Wikia) 16 Oct 15, 09:15 PM [×] Draco: He smiled. "Maybe they just want to get it away from us. But at our home everything is more then secure, for sure." He sounded very confident in this. He nodded at her comment without prying saying "And that is how it should be. All families have things they keep for themselves." Trying not to smile at her exhale, Draco nodded and said softly "You did well there," meaning her progress in learning to deal with him close. He did however give her an odd look at the turn in conversation, curious in his face. "Mandrake? No Herbology is one of my least favorite classes. How is that pertinent?" 16 Oct 15, 09:18 PM Giana: "You do have a beautiful home" she commented, grinning. "Your mother definitely knows how to throw a party." She arched a brow, "and all people too." She looked somewhat surprised. "Part of the process involves holding a mandrake leaf in your mouth for an entire month" she informed him. "You didn't know that?" 16 Oct 15, 09:24 PM Draco: He took that as his due adding "And rarely seen by outsiders. Hence why so many of our events happen other places. However my father felt it important for...hmm, other things happening that particular night." He went no further with that one. His brow furrowed, but he did remember now that she mentioned it. "I knew that, it just wasn't something I cosidered before being pertinent to making comparison lists. Are you trying to suggest that people's skill in Herbology should be taken into account?" 16 Oct 15, 09:27 PM Giana: She nodded, "Mom and dad are thinking of hosting a Christmas gala this year" She smiled softly, "They always go a little overboard at the holidays." He didn't need to say anything else, she got the picture. At his question, she shrugged. "Considering its such a huge part of the process, I would think it might be possible" she pointed out. "That picking the right leaf from a properly raised plant might impact the process somehow." 16 Oct 15, 09:30 PM [×] Draco: A sly smile. "Well now I have a reason to ask you to dance then," knowing that would stick in her mind if they did. "My family just prefers to keep home for family more often then not." A frown now thinking about it. "Actually, knowing it is impacted by the way it is grown I would think those learning to do the process which are most often young would prefer to buy theirs from an expert then instead. Which would argue the opposite." 16 Oct 15, 09:35 PM Giana: "Who said you were invited?" she smiled back in spite of herself. Of course they would be invited, and they both knew it, but it was much more fun this way. "Besides, are you sure you could keep up?" Merlin, wait until Nadya heard about...no, wait, on second thought, Nadya would never hear about this, she would go nuts. A nod, "I understand, home is...the safe place." Safe from what, she didn't say. She tilted her head, considering his point. "Fair, but expertly grown Mandrake leaves are expensive, and not all those who train in Animagus studies are as well off as..." She let the sentence trail, leaving the 'us' implied rather than saying it outright. 16 Oct 15, 09:42 PM [×] Draco: A purse of his lips was all he let show; he wouldn't be pulled into that ploy. "I can keep up. I set the pace for most of the dorm." He nodded now, approvingly at her not said implications. "Oh I know, but it is also a rare wizard or witch who attains it. Maybe monetary should be considered in making it more likely? Let's put that one after strength and endurance and then we can consider Herbology. Although I feel that one is overseen by the wealth. It's a lot of trouble to hunt it out yourself if you are not growing it in a greenhouse." 16 Oct 15, 09:47 PM Giana: She rolled her eyes. "Believe me, I know. You're reputation precedes you, trust me." Most of her family were in Slytherin after all. "Fair" she answered. "It makes the most sense to consider the easiest factors first anyway." She scribbled something down on a fresh piece of parchment. "There is also some research that suggests a person's patronus is usually similar to their animagus form" She reminded him, "so maybe that too. Wouldn't most people be more likely to put the work in if they knew what to expect?" 16 Oct 15, 09:51 PM [×] Draco: He smiled. It was nice to know his power was already acknowledged even though he was not the head of his family yet. He leaned slighty more into her as he looked at what she had written down, but it was natural. This time. "But how would you quantify that? It's not so simple to sum up in one factor to look for on a profile." 16 Oct 15, 10:22 PM Giana: "I haven't exactly figured that part out yet. I'm mostly just trying to do what you mentioned earlier, compile a list of most prominent impacting factors." When he leaned close this time, it was a different kind of nerves that set in, causing her skin to warm and breathing to become slightly more difficult. "I'm sure there is a way" she managed "I j-just...have to find it." 16 Oct 15, 11:12 PM [×] Draco: He pointed out the top of her list, doing his best not to smile about her being so close. "Well we have strength, endurance probably second, FInances, then herbology. That's a good enough start on it. Once we figure those out the rest will be a small number." He looked at her, still partly leaning in to her so much closer this time. "So which way do you think would work best? You want to try tackling it first yourself or shall we split it into parts to work off of? I can give suggestions on the individuals that I know as you write if you like." 16 Oct 15, 11:16 PM Giana: She nodded, "I think y-you're p-probably right" she resisted the urge to sigh. This is why she could never win at cards. Merlin why was it suddenly so hard to breathe properly? Retrieving the book she'd been copying from before, she laid the parchment against it and turned to face him, crossing her legs as she did so. "I like that idea." Her voice was soft, as though she were trying to cover her reaction. "W-we need actual e-examples after a-all."
16 Oct 15, 11:23 PM Draco: The tremor in her voice was back, but she was being stronger about not pulling away. He liked that. "Very well then." She turned, as if trying to put a little distance between them by putting her legs out and his eyes may have been laughing at her a bit. "By the way," he said pointing at the watch, "you'll notice I have kept my hands properly to myself still." He then smirked and quote twelve names off by memory speaking about how strong each had been known to be. A glance after that at the Mministry's list and he added two more.
16 Oct 15, 11:31 PM Giana: She saw his amusement at her discomfort, and before she could stop herself, she made a face at him, barely resisting the urge to stick out her tongue. At his hands comment, both eyebrows disappeared into her hairline. "Where they belong" she pointed out before she settled into the more comfortable world of academics. When she had finished copying everything she found pertinent and adding her own side notes, she glanced up. "I think that's probably enough for one day." She stretched, rolling her neck. "We've been here almost two hours, and I'm sure you're adoring public is waiting for you to greet them somewhere." She smirked at him 16 Oct 15, 11:38 PM [×] Draco: "Only socially which is a made up system humans use because they can't deal without rules. By nature they fit elsewhere just fine. However, even though my five minutes are past I was showing you I can be trusted to abide by the letter of the law." Not much beyond that was implied, but she already would understand that. "Then again you also said you were innocent which I agree with, hence why you need my input on this project. I wonder if experience is why we were partnered actually..." He played over that thought a moment before dismissing it. She stretched and he watched, noting in some other ways she took after her sister's apparent physical form. "Oh? Well I do guess the Library wouldn't be the most comfortable place to carry out my project anyway it is true. I'd rather you feel more relaxed than in here for it anyway," leaving it unsaid she might be part of his public. 16 Oct 15, 11:44 PM Giana: "Also helps with making sure guys don't spend all their time trying to get gullible girls into broom closets" she added as she packed her notes away. "If the rumor mill can be trusted, that's one theory you've tested well enough already" she answered as she straightened up again from putting away her books. She laughed then, in genuine amusement. "I hardly think two hours is proof you can be trusted, Mal--Draco." She thought about his theory, and then shrugged delicately. "Could be, or could be that you and I are the top two in that class" she theorized. She could feel his eyes on her, and it made her blush, when he mentioned his project, her eyes widened. "You meant tonight? I...I have rounds." Which was true, though she ignored the fact that those would be much later tonight.
16 Oct 15, 11:48 PM Draco: he shook his head with a smile. "Your faith in gossip is a failing I can see since I have never taken a girl into a broom closet nor an empty room for that." A tilted head at her as she pushed her own ego out there. "True. I have experience, but you do have the book learning. Shame, the experience makes the book learning come to life. That is something I would certainly hold against you." He laughed softly and looked her straight in the eyes. "Then you have a perfect excuse for getting out of it when it gets too, shall we say, uncomfortable for your nerves. I did say I would help you with that."
16 Oct 15, 11:53 PM Giana: She snorted softly. "I have never had much faith in gossip" she corrected him, "but I might make an exception in this case." She studied his face for a moment, not quite sure what she was looking for. "I'm sure that's true, just as I'm sure there are some experiences you have I could probably live without." She smiled, "as for you holding it against me, I think I will survive." She looked to be considering for a moment, and she was, trying hard to figure a way out. When none was forthcoming, she sighed, and then stood. "All right, Malfoy, you win." Shouldering her bag, she raised her eyes to his, "Where to?"
16 Oct 15, 11:57 PM [×] Draco: A nod. "More the fool you when told the truth then." He appeared unruffled by the call. "I've always felt for a woman's first time only a bed will ever be appropriate, hence why my bed is separate anyway as the most important member of the dorm." A privilege he kept up as well. Few others were allowed such a thing. "Ha, true though I would not offer those to anyone else. Those are my secrets and my power." She agreed and then he smiled and glanced a round. "Where outside of here do you think you would feel more comfortable outside of prying eyes? For I am sure you will not want others watching how you react to some of this stuff." 17 Oct 15, 12:04 AM Giana: She didn't answer his truth comment. However, at the realization she was discussing sex with Draco Malfoy of all people, she flushed. "T-traditional then, c-color m-me surprised." Ah, here was the arrogance, she had wondered where it was. "Most important?" She smiled, "you'll forgive me if you rank a bit lower on my personal list." She did have a good many friends and family in Slytherin after all. She shook her head at him. "Of course not, can't have anyone getting the better of Draco Malfoy, what would the world come to?" She thought about it a moment. There was always the come and go room, but being alone with him in a room only the two of them could access was definitely out of the question. "Clock tower" she said after a long moment. "It's usually pretty abandoned."
17 Oct 15, 12:11 AM Draco: He saw the flush and wondered what realization had brought it out. A shake of his head. "Experience. It would be wrong of me to act like most boys and leave a girl wanting for the truth transformation of the experience. I must make sure she finds it the best moment of her life, after all." He shrugged at her rebuffing of his status. "I did not say for you, but for the dorm. There are only a handful of students in the last century to recieve a private room after all. My power and influence is the reason, regardless of your own feeling about it. The dorm and the Head know the truth." He smiled at her comments but did not say more. "Clock tower it is then, lead the way." He followed for a moment only before walking beside her, only letting her choose the route up as he spoke. "Experience is what let me see the mistake in your list by the way. The transformation process is not unlike the first time. Facing fears, doubts, and pain plus the fear of failure -- these all add up to you basically failing to see the right direction to begin in on the organization. A simple error but one you could not help but make." 17 Oct 15, 12:18 AM Giana: He was awfully focused on sex at the moment, but then, she supposed, he was a guy. Nadya seemed pretty convinced it was all they thought about. "Yes, well, some of us are still waiting for the right person for that particular experience" she answered without looking at him. "Yes, I know, Prince of Slytherin and all that. The whole school knows." She wasn't particularly impressed with that part. though she suspected if her parents knew she was forming any sort of connection with the Malfoy heir, they would be...encouraging. She snorted, then darted a glance at him to see if he noticed. She left the library, a bit unnerved when he fell in beside her. Being seen with Draco Malfoy got you attention, which was something Giana generally avoided at all costs. As they found their way to the foot of the stairs, she smiled sardonically at him. "And books are what taught me that as a teenage guy you have sex on the brain nearly all the time. Well, books and this conversation" She gave him a look that was dangerously close to being cheeky before she made to head up the stairs.
17 Oct 15, 12:23 AM [×] Draco: On that he could aknowledge the point, though putting the conversation in her head did suit his ends. "And I was not offering anyway." He nodded at a few Slytheirns they passed and smirked, wondering what rumors would say now. "I am afraid this may start you some rumors you may begin to realize how false the ones are about me." She came back with a rejoinder and he laughed. "Not really, I get plenty of it. But yes, all of those in your dorm who have not experienced it probably do. I was merely pointing out where the failing lies, not offering to help you with it. You should stop jumping to those thoughts you know, you are judging a book before reading it." 17 Oct 15, 12:34 AM Giana: She didn't turn to look at him as she headed down the hall, but she did answer: "I didn't think you were" she assured him. The sight of the Slytherins nearly made her cringe. Now Nadya would hear that she'd been seen outside the library with Draco Malfoy. Brilliant. She rolled her eyes, "doubtful, if the rumors about you are...intense, the ones about me are the polar opposite" She smirked, "they probably think we're going to do homework." The sound of his laughter surprised her. It was a...nice sound...not at all what she might have expected from him. His mention of his amount of experience didn't much surprise her, though she found herself wondering idly exactly how much he actually had, and then she flushed scarlet, realizing the direction of her thoughts. "Once again" she spoke as she headed up the stairs, "Far be it from me to ever presume the great Draco Malfoy would ever be interested in someone like me." The sarcasm was evident, but there was something under the surface as well,
17 Oct 15, 12:35 AM Giana: a trace of self-depreciation she hadn't intended. As she stepped into the relatively bare room, she did finally turn to glance at him. "One thing I've learned about books, sometimes the covers are perfectly accurate, and between you and me I've read...many many books."
17 Oct 15, 12:40 AM [×] Draco: He gave her a glance. "Do you really think that? That you are so straight laced no one can concieve of you doing anything fun? Wow, I feel sorry for your mental image..." A chuckle at her sarcasm. "Yes, it does sound like your sister gets all the attention doesn't she? But why not you, then? Clearly you are highly intelligent, from the right background, and your family is along the same prospectus as mine. It would seem that any attention I give you would make people think the other way really." As they stepped into the room he pulled out his wand and waved it lazily in the air and a perfectly adequate victorian styled settee appeared. As he replaced the wand he said "Then one warning for you out of politeness; don't judge me by what you think is the cover. You'd be vastly surprised." 17 Oct 15, 12:47 AM Giana: "I never said I thought it" she corrected him. "I said most everyone else does, and I did that on purpose." She smiled in an oddly rueful manner at the mention of her sister. "Nadya is out for all the attention she can get right now, and yes, she's very good at it." She smirked, "I, on the other hand, am very good at fading into the background, and I prefer it that way." She titled her head, smiling and put her hand to her forehead in an obviously theatrical pose. "Be still my heart" she relaxed and shook her head. "Which is why I would prefer we keep this as private as possible. No offense, but I would rather not draw the attention of all those test subjects we talked about earlier. This is just a deal we made. Quid pro quo, nothing more, right? So no one needs to know about it." When the settee appeared, she pulled the robe up and over her head, laying it across the back of the settee and loosening her tie. She settled in, leaving her bag on the floor and crossing her legs. She
17 Oct 15, 12:47 AM Giana: smiled softly. "No offense, Draco, but I don't expect to spend enough time together to be able to judge you at all."
17 Oct 15, 12:54 AM Draco: A thoughtful look. "She does seem to be trying to make it louder and louder. Why? What's going on there?" He pondered her 'heart' quip and wondered if there was much in common between the sisters actually. "Certainly, you lock the door behind us then. It is a public area after all." As soon as the settee was there, Draco sat down on the end of it leaning back and watching her body as the robe came off. As she sat down he laid the book on his open lap so she could see it. "Fine then. Come over here and pull out some note paper and your quill."
17 Oct 15, 12:58 AM Giana: She pondered the question, and then took another moment to find a proper answer. "She..." A deep breath before she continued. "I think she's got some things to prove" she said finally, making it clear that was all she was willing to say on the subject. A nod, and a slightly complex looking series of wand movements as she murmured something a bit stronger than a basic locking spell. Shifting pulled out fresh parchment, and one of the quills she had stashed in easy reach in her bag. Instead of scooting in his direction, she stood, getting in one final stretch before she moved to sit next to him. "All right, first word that comes to mind right?" 17 Oct 15, 01:04 AM Draco: He watched her face and clearly he got it there was something she could not say. "Fair enough." She stretched again and sat down. "Yes, you've got it. Just write it down, although you can say it if it makes you feel better. I'm just going to go from the beginning and flip through them, okay?"
17 Oct 15, 01:06 AM Giana: She was a bit surprised he let it go so easily, but she appreciated it none the less. "Writing sounds great" she was nervous, nearly certain she'd gotten herself into more than she might have liked. "Okay" she answered. "Go ahead", she watched him expectantly.
17 Oct 15, 01:10 AM Draco: Setting his arm naturally down on the settee behind her out of the way, he turned the book so she could see it in his lap easily (and still see his lap of course; temptation had to be there even if refused) and began flipping pages one at a time. They started with some creepy and some shook ones, but there was a good mix of erotica mixxed in, much of it surprisingly graphic.
17 Oct 15, 01:15 AM Giana: As she looked at the pages one by one, her reactions were written clearly all over her face. By the end, her eyes were wide, her entire faces was tinted dark crimson, and she was having trouble coming up with a word to write at all. Biting her lip, she stashed the quill back in her bag, appearing shaky despite her best efforts. Clenching the first that wasn't holding the parchment in her lap, she tried to steady her nerves. "W-w-was th-that th-the e-e-end?" She couldn't get handle on one specific emotion at the moment. She couldn't deny feeling more aroused than she ever had in her life. The room was suddenly hot, which was somewhat miraculous for the middle of October. Her entire body was warm and she found it very difficult to catch her breath, or steady herself in any way. fist* 17 Oct 15, 01:19 AM Draco: he watched her careful and decided it was time to do a touch as most people did. He stuck out his hand and held her fist saying "Relax, Giana, that was the control group. Breath a minute if you must. Do you need to talk it out?" His arm remained behind her so he knew she was aware of him. He'd see what her reaction was first, though he wondered why she had put the quill away when they had discussed the two levels of this.
17 Oct 15, 01:23 AM Giana: Oh. Right. Two. "I...I d-don't kn-know if I c-can handle d-doing th-that a-a-again t-tonight." His touch was oddly comforting, which, if she had been thinking more clearly, would have been a clear warning of how messed up she actually was. The hand relaxed slowly, but the tension was evident in every muscle. "I...d-don't...th-think I h-have w-w-words for..." She took a deep breath, not that it helped much. She closed her eyes and kept breathing, going quiet
17 Oct 15, 01:26 AM Draco: he shrugged though he was being careful in his observations of her. "Understandable, though I thought you might be the type to want to get it all out and done. Works for me." Judging her state, his lips twitched before he moved the hand to the back of her neck and began rubbing it soothingly and expertly. "Just take a minute and breath, you can see why it would be important to understand if this is being done. Imagine, if they had a painting in a n office where someone was unaware of how they were being manipulated. Very sneaky."
17 Oct 15, 01:31 AM Giana: "I th-thought s-so t-too" she said softly. "I w-was wr-wrong." Under normal circumstances, this much contact would have gotten him a swatting and a lecture. At the moment though, it /was/ helping her relax...well, sort of. It was also doing funny things to her insides. Still, it felt amazing, and she wasn't complaining for the moment at least. "Y-y-yes, I c-c-can." Merlin, someone would put something like that in an office? What was wrong with people? Her color was slowly returning to normal though her eyes were still wide as though someone had told her entire world had been re-oriented. Glancing back at the final page, she took a long moment before she got up the nerve to ask a single question. "Is s-sex actually l-like that?" 17 Oct 15, 01:36 AM Draco: About what he expected, but if she had continued she might have ended up in his room. That would have made the connection between sisters rather obvious. "Hence why I'd like to prove one way or another if it really exists. If so, there must be some sort of counter to it." Draco was all about knowing how to counter what could be used on him. He thought about her question barely at all. "Mmmm, a bit yes. It's got the same flavor of power and excitement to it, but there's more pleasure involved I think personally. Still, I wasn't kidding when I said it was a real form of self-transformation really, turning yourself into an adult. It changes the way you see the world after for sure."
17 Oct 15, 01:42 AM Giana: "M-makes sense" Finally, she could breathe again. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She arched a brow, "a lot of that didn't look very pleasurable" she pointed out, her first clear sentence in several minutes, and she was grateful for it. She moaned softly, "Merlin you're good at that" she said softly. Okay, maybe having him in her personal space wasn't all bad. "It was...enlightening anyway." In more ways than one. "I think I may need to trade with someone tonight. I'm not sure I'm up for rooting people out of closets after that."
17 Oct 15, 01:48 AM [×] Draco: he agreed, but that was the books' order. "Blame the author. But several of those were just for the emotional response so it makes sense they were included. You did very well from what I can see on your list. Close to what I thought of most of them." he laughed softly and moved up her neck a tad to a new place. "Thanks, there are many skills to learn, all of them are good knowledge." Draco could imagine she was more then just enlightened! "Feeling flushed below the waist I take it? that's normal, just so you know. Guys react a bit differently, but I understand the physical part of it. Might be good to switch out for sure. Here," and he moved his hands to her shoulders and began working those, slowly working his way around her collarbone too. "I'll never understand the broom closet space really. Fiilled with stuff, the target every prefect checks, seems dumb to me." 17 Oct 15, 01:52 AM Giana: "Shock value" I get it. She was feeling more like herself, but her brain was still fogged over, almost as if she were in shock. "Thanks I think" She shook her head. She flushed, but nodded slowly. "You could s-say that." She was torn between appreciating the reassurance and being embarrassed at being caught. Then again, she supposed he did understand. A soft, hesitant laugh at the closet comment. "Unless you're into the risk of getting caught. Several of my roommates talk about it...a lot." When he moved to her shoulders, she knew she should tell him to stop, and it was on the tip of her tongue, really it was, but...Merlin it was just a massage wasn't it? Besides, he owed her didn't he? "So tomorrow's part will be what? Worse?" She had unconsciously begun to sink into the settee as her body relaxed, tension going out of her more quickly than she would have thought possible.
17 Oct 15, 01:59 AM Draco: He was enjoying seeing her react and fairly sure he was opening up her door to possible exploration out of sheer curiosity at what she could feel. "Yes, totally normal." He laughed again softly. "I guess there is that, I prefer to take things unde rmy own pace so I am assured of a good ending. Being worked up only to be interupted is far more frustrating and infuriating." She resisted not at all and he knew a certain amount of true success. "Hmm, maybe. Might not, depends. Now that we have control we're going to be looking to compare against it. If there is such an art, I would think it might be bad in patches, but not bad overall. Might come out the same ending with tough spots along the way." Once her shoulders were completely unknotted, he moved to her collarbone again and then down her back slightly, just hinting at how much better he could make it feel but not going too far yet.
17 Oct 15, 02:06 AM Giana: She laughed, "Would you believe that's probably the first time anyone has used 'totally normal' and me in the same sentence?" she asked him. "That makes more sense to me" she agreed, "but Nadya says the rush is worth it." Then again, she was pretty sure her sister generally kept to empty classrooms and dorm visits. She listened when he spoke about what she might face tomorrow, and nodded. "Maybe it won't be as bad now that I know what to expect" she said thoughtfully. I mean, really, how much more shock value could a person put into a picture? She was less aware of where is hands were than she was of how good what he was doing felt. She hadn't felt this relaxed in...well, maybe ever. "Hang on, I need to..." She leaned down and retrieved an older-looking piece of parchment from her bag. Scribbling a message on it, she watched the ink disappear, and then left the blank page sitting next to the bag on the floor. "I just asked Nadya to check with the fifth year Slytherin Prefect. She owes me...several trade offs actually." 17 Oct 15, 02:10 AM Draco: He shook his head, thinking her sister was more then just a risk taker. "Nothing personal, but you seem more normal then your sister at the moment.. It's like she wants to be caught at something." She arranged a trade with her sister and his eyes narrowed at the parchment. "Handy," he said moving his hands down a small amount. "I assume you and your sister use that all the time to pass notes back and forth?" Good to know such a thing existed in the dorm. "And who knows, you may prove to be the exception to the paintings. But I would think you have some idea now yes what to deal with," not he thought to himself since he figured it would effect her far more.
17 Oct 15, 02:15 AM Giana: She laughed, "I can't think of anyone who would agree with you there. Isn't that what teenage years are supposedly for? 'Socializing'?" She shook her head gently, "Nadya...well, she's changed a lot this year" she said softly. She grasped onto the subject change easily. "Our parents gave them to us when we realized we were going to be in separate houses." She had also used it more than once to warn Nadya where not to be when a Prefect came lurking, but she tended not to let that be common knowledge. If possible, she relaxed even further at that. It was only when she leaned back into him that she seemed to remember herself a bit, sitting up straighter so as not to be leaning against him. "At least its only one more book" she said thoughtfully. "We should have the Animagus project wrapped up well before the due date in two weeks" and then life could go back to normal, where boys didn't notice her, much less rub her back until she felt as if she might melt into the settee and never move again, 17 Oct 15, 02:19 AM Draco: Yes, which had prompted this entire experiment. "Yes, I normally try and keep an eye on the dorm, but it's clear something major happened this summer." She started to relax into him and he moved back up, moving father down this time as his hands went, but not as far as her hips. Not tonight. "I agree. You can handle one book I'm sure." A hesitation on the other. "That would be good for your reputation especially. Though maybe if you bring up all day tomorrow to anyone who brings it up it's a school assigned project."
17 Oct 15, 02:23 AM Giana: She turned to look him in the eyes, wanting to be clear. "Yes, something major happened. No, I can't talk about it. I've tried talking to her and Nadya isn't prepared to listen to anyone but herself at the moment, and possibly Seth Cole." It stung, but Gia had buried it already. As he continued with her back, she laughed. "You're only saying that because you need me to finish your testing." She rolled her eyes. "I know that you're..." She hesitated, "you, but I'm me, and no one is going to think we were together for anything but school work. Trust me"
17 Oct 15, 02:26 AM Draco: 'Seth?" His voice sounded dubious about anything that one was involved with. "Hmm, well then family stuff." He smiled where she couldn't see from behind her. "Yes well, the testing is needed. You said so yourself." She insisted no one would think otherwise and he smirked as he worked her back and slightly around her sides. "You seem awfully confident in that. How come?"
17 Oct 15, 02:30 AM Giana: The smile was obvious in her voice. "I know what you're thinking, but Seth...we grew up with the Coles. Nadya trust him, and of all the guys she..." Gia didn't finish the sentence. "I trust him the most." She could hear the smile in his voice, and it caused her to roll her eyes at him. "I don't think those were my exact words" she answered, smiling in spite of herself. At his confidence comment, she smirked, "Because the entire schools is fully convinced that I either A. am a lesbian or B. don't /have/ a sex drive, which would be insurmountable obstacles if you /were/ trying to get into my skirt, which as we previously discussed, you aren't, so everyone wins."
17 Oct 15, 02:33 AM Draco: he heard the 'all the guys' part and knew that matched with what he had heard. "yes, I hear your confidence. Well, glad you have it all worked out for yourself. Although I suspect whatever guy you fall for someday won't be as easy to approach somehow. I bet you are expecting them to know everything about how to proceed?"
17 Oct 15, 02:35 AM Giana: She knew from his tone he didn't believe her, and she laughed at his guy comment. "/If/ I ever find someone" she corrected him. "I don't really care how much experience they have. If he has a lot, he can teach me. If he doesn't, we'll learn together." Here, she turned her head to grin at him for the first time. "Probably from a book."

17 Oct 15, 02:40 AM Draco: Seeing her come down the hallway he said "So did you find anywhere else?" knowing he had blcoked that in advance. Her expression said it all. "All right then, I've got us a room at least, I'll lock the door this time since you did last time." and motioned for her to proceed him, book under his arm. 17 Oct 15, 02:46 AM Giana: Knowing that all of the rooms she might have used were taken, she already had a fair idea where he was taking her. Still, she followed him with only mild trepidation. After all, the only thing that had happened last night was that her sleep once she'd made it back to the dorm had been amazing. 17 Oct 15, 02:49 AM [×] Draco: The room was small this time, a simple couch in it which was more plush then before, but that could have been the room. As with last night he sat down carelessly and put an arm across the back of the couch, placing the book unopened on his knees with his lap open for the eyes. "All right, same drill as last evening, notes and a quill and -- are you okay?" He brought it up just because of her eyes and then shrugged at her answer. "Well anyway, you remember." 17 Oct 15, 02:54 AM Giana: She glanced around the simple room before pulling her school robe up and over her head like the day before. This time, however, there was a decidedly less school-appropriate outfit underneath. Draping the robe across the side arm of the couch. She really preferred as little clothing as she could, but she didn't want to give him the wrong impression either. Settling in next to him on the couch, pen and parchment already in hand, she nodded. "Fine, a little nervous. Let's get this over with." Strangely, however, being back with him reminded her of the night before, and of how good his hands had felt on her back. She blinked a couple of times to clear the thought, waiting for him to begin. 17 Oct 15, 02:54 AM Giana: picture-cdn.wheretoget.it/fu0p1i-l-610x610-blouse-white-cute-abduction-movie-lily+collins.jpg17 Oct 15, 02:56 AM [×] Draco: This time as he showed her the images, he was fairly sure (he was purposefully not looking at them and watching her) that many of the images were going to charge her u far more in a sensual way and seeing the outfit told him he had defintely made serious progress. They went to about halfway through the book before he reached out and touched her neck saying softly "Are you all right?" 17 Oct 15, 03:00 AM Giana: This time, Giana found herself strangely less horrified and more...intrigued. As they continued through the book, her face flushed like before but the feelings of arousal were intensified without the previous night's horror to combat them as well. Halfway through, he reached out, touching her softly, and the sensation caused her to look up from where she had been writing, face flushed, eyes dark, and lips parted. "I..." Her throat was dry and she swallowed. "I'm o-okay" 17 Oct 15, 03:02 AM Draco: 'Yes,' he thought, 'focus on me before thinnking more like that.' "All right then," and he continued but kept his hand on her skin at her neck, slowly beginning to massage a bit as they continued seeing the flush in her face and knowing what she had to be thinking of. When they got to a particulary in-the-act image he said to her softly "Your eyes..." and leaned in closer 17 Oct 15, 03:07 AM Giana: His eyes brought back a half-remembered fragment of a dream which came back in a rush. There had been...a lot of kissing, touching, skin and heavy breathing. If possible, her eyes darkened further, and she was grateful when he continued on, until he stopped a few moments later. Looking up at him more slowly than before, she murmured softly, "What's wrong with my eyes?" as he leaned in closer to study them and the closeness forced her to remember how close they had been in her dream. No space at all, none. "Wh-what is it?" 17 Oct 15, 03:08 AM [×] Draco: "Nothing's wrong, but they look very deep..." He leaned in and caught at her chin with his hand, softly kissing her, going for the sensual approach and hoping she was under enough to fall into it easily. 17 Oct 15, 03:12 AM Giana: He caught her chin, kissing her deeply, and all she could manage to feel was relief. This was so much better than the dream. The dream had been about imagination, what her limited experience could create. This, this was real, and it....Merlin! She kissed him back, perfectly happy at that moment to let him lead her wherever he wanted to go. She was nothing, after all, if not a willing student. Before she could think better of it, she had closed the distance straddling him with one hand in his hair and the other on the back of the couch for balance. Everything about this should have been sending off warning signals, but instead, all she felt was a burning desire to have something real to compare her fantasies to. Fairytale be damned. Her sister had always insisted romance novels were more fun anyway. 17 Oct 15, 03:14 AM Draco: She went more then with it, she got up, crawling over him and he felt her settle in his lap as he kissed her back, slowly building her up into a deep and lost pitch. Draco was considerably surprised at her reaction despite having sought something from her, but as his hands slid around her rear and her back as he went for tongue he breathed in her scent and decided she would be a good one to have. She smelled, tasted and felt like a good time. 17 Oct 15, 03:19 AM Giana: Gia was lost in Draco Malfoy. All of her senses were consumed by him, the feel of his hands and the taste of him which she had never expected to know but now could not have imagined not experiencing. Her breathing became heavy even as her hands drifted lower, more confident of her balance, she moved down, over his shoulders and to the edge of his shirt where she began running her hands up and over his stomach and chest slowly in an exploratory manner without ever breaking the kiss. 17 Oct 15, 03:22 AM Draco: He unbuttoned his shirt one handed with the one from her back, squeezing her slightly with his other on her rear as she went with the tongue and clearly desired more. As her hands ran up and down, he let her explore, looking to find out if he could take this farther. He felt the couch change under him and he leaned back slowly so she had to follow him down... 17 Oct 15, 03:26 AM Giana: It was the change in the couch that did it, suddenly she was looking down at, not a couch, but a bed, which meant sex which meant. Oh Merlin. She jerked backward so fast she nearly fell off the bed entirely. Eyes wide, she opened her mouth to speak, but when nothing intelligible came out, she settled for scrambling off the bed and to the door. With a sinking feeling, she remembered that the locking spell was keyed to his signature, not hers. Turning back, she looked pointedly at him. "I...I have no idea how this happened but, I need to go." She was frantically trying to right her clothes as she said it, realizing she had left the robe across the room but unwilling to go back to get it. 17 Oct 15, 03:31 AM [×] Draco: Draco sat up as she scrambled off him, trying to ignore the disappointment in his loins. He looked at her wild face and knew there was still a way to play this out which would mess with her mind. Turning his legs over the side of the bed he said "I didn't do the bed. I think the room reacted to us." Standing without taking his eyes off hers, he walked slowly across the room, shirt open to his waist by her hands and stopped in front of her. "I'll open the door, Giana, but I think you are making a mistake not to confront your feelings now." He waited to see if she would say anything, his chest expanding and shrinking while he looked at her, slowing down it's pace from a moment before 17 Oct 15, 03:33 AM Giana: "It...actually didn't occur to me that you might have done it" she answered, grateful for small miracles in that she could at least speak clearly. She fought to keep her eyes on his as he approached her. "Feelings?" She frowned, "it was just the book" she insisted. "I got carried away, that's it. It was a mistake." 17 Oct 15, 03:36 AM Draco: A raised eyebrow as she spoke. "Oh? You think so? I was not looking at the images, Giana, look into my face and tell me I'm completely normal then." his chest still moved, his face was flushed in reaction and his eyes were intense, but she was inexperienced enough not to be able to tell the difference in what she saw and what he was claiming. "It may be the book has just shown the way, revealed more then you thought. Was last night devoid of dreams, of thoughts of me? There were no paintings yesterday with power..." 17 Oct 15, 03:40 AM Giana: She did look at him, for a very brief moment. "That's different, you do this all the time. Its not even a big deal to you." She blushed, caught out. "Even if there were, it was just because we did everything right before I went back to the dorm to go to sleep." She frowned at him, "Please I...I'm not the kind of girl that does this. Merlin, I've never done anything like this. Can we please just pretend it never happened. I'll finish the Animagus project by myself and then we'll never even have to look at each other again." Her eyes pleaded with him to let her forget everything that had just happened between them. "Now please just...just let me out." 17 Oct 15, 03:44 AM [×] Draco: "Sex. Sex is not a big deal. Making out is what we were doing, Giana, you have never experienced sex." d@mn, she was thinking already, but maybe later there would be doubts. "No. I will not pretend that did not happen. I'll find someone else to help me finish off my project, but I will not forget the taste of you not," he smiled softly, "the taste." Knowing even as he said it she would remember as well. "You will have to see me before we turn it in, Giana. We'll talk more then. And as I said I would," he leaned past her and touched the door which unfastened at his touch allowing her escape. 17 Oct 15, 03:49 AM Giana: She didn't appear to have heard him until he mentioned the taste of her and she shrugged. "Okay, fine, remember it then, at least until the next one comes along." Even as she said it, she remembered the feel of him, and there was still the smell of him on her skin, giving her chills. A silent node was all she gave him before darted past him out the door, not even attempting to look like she was doing anything but escaping him as quickly as she could. She would never have an actual conversation with Draco Malfoy again if she could help it. 17 Oct 15, 03:51 AM Draco: Returning after shutting the door, Draco collected her things, putting them in her bag and smiling to himself. Oh yes, he was under her skin now, he knew that much. The question was could she be more fun in her running then in subjugation...

17 Oct 15, 03:59 AM Giana: She sat rigid in the main section of the library rather than the private room from before. She looked, for all the world, like a prisoner awaiting execution rather than a teenager about to undergo a decidedly awkward moment. She turned the page of the book she was pretending to read, just to keep up appearances.
17 Oct 15, 04:03 AM Draco: Draco stood on the other side of the stacks watching her with amusement in his face, but getting it neutral before he approached her from the unexpected direction. Walking up to her he placed a hand on her shoulder lightly in passing saying "Afternoon, Giana." and sat in the chair across from her directly. He studied her a moment, watching her before he spoke again. "Do I get to see 'our' results?" he asked sarcastically, putting a copy of his own paper on the table in front of him.
17 Oct 15, 04:05 AM Giana: She flinched when he touched her, but she slid the stack of parchment across the table for him to study. Honestly, she really didn't care what she made on this assignment anymore, so long as once it was over she could forget that the boy across from her had ever been anything but 'Malfoy'
17 Oct 15, 04:08 AM [×] Draco: "Want to see what i finished?" He slid his own across to her, noting she would find herself listed as 'subject' in each mention and that the paintings had not been listed by name. He read over what she had finished, noting only a few things he felt should be corrected. 17 Oct 15, 04:11 AM Giana: Against her better judgment, Giana scanned over his research. Relieved to find that both her name and the paintings in question were left unspecified, she placed them back on the table. "You can make whatever changes you want before you turn it in" she told him very softly. "Are we finished?"
17 Oct 15, 04:11 AM Draco: A glance up at her. "With the reports, yes. With the rest, never as long as you keep avoiding me."
17 Oct 15, 04:13 AM Giana: "We have nearly every class together" she answered, having expected the accusation. "I told you that once the project was over we could go back to our lives. It is, and I have."
17 Oct 15, 04:15 AM Draco: He handed back the report, recollecting his as he added "And I'm still curiious if there was something more. I'm not satisfied with your own lives decision. I wanted to ask you out and see if there was anything more to it." Expecting her to run off now, he waited to see how much curiosity remained or if she had shut that out as well.
17 Oct 15, 04:17 AM Giana: She arched a brow at him disbelievingly. "You've made out with at least half of my dorm" she pointed out. "What exactly convinced you there might be anything at all?" She had said it more loudly than she meant to, causing Madame Pince to shoot them an irritated look. She sighed, "Fine, if you want to talk, let's talk, but somewhere else." 17 Oct 15, 04:20 AM Draco: "And more than half of mine, female wise at least, but that is not the same thing." He watched her, and smiled sardonically. "You went far more intense then I would have expected. That tells me ther eis a possibiltiy. Add in our situations and it is something to consider seriously. Most of the girls I have 'made-out with' were not potentially anything worth longer terms." He stood and waited for her to lead the way 17 Oct 15, 04:25 AM Giana: She opened her mouth to retort, but wisely reconsidered until she reached an empty classroom. Once they were both inside, she both locked the door and cast a silencing charm before she turned to tell him exactly what she thought of that. "So basically you're telling me that because our families are on the same side politically and we're both obscenely rich I /might/ be worth your time." She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "Besides, will your parents even let you date a girl who isn't English? Because last I checked it was that or French for the Malfoys, and I am not even a small fraction of either one." She seemed to realize she had gotten off track and held up her hands. "Which is way past the point. The point is that what happened the other night shouldn't have happened. It was a set of very unique circumstances that blew up into something...else."
17 Oct 15, 04:29 AM [×] Draco: He waited while she spouted off. Clearly with this one patience was required. When she finished he waited another moment with raised eyebrows as if to ask if it was his turn. When she motioned it was he said "No. Those things were always in the air as possibles as you know both of our families have merged with others before. And yes, the side does help. However." He waited a moment before he continued. "I find the passion you displayed if, as you said, it was just an accident was still far better then most of your dorm. You displayed a far more enthusiastic response then most girls even have shown and for that reason I would like to try a date and see if you can stop yourself shivering in loathing long enough to see if there really could be something. Right now in this mode you are entirely insensible which is not your normal." He didn't have to say that pointed at issues on her end, possible things she was ignoring. 17 Oct 15, 04:33 AM Giana: He was being entirely too rational about all this, and to make matters worse he was also right. d@mn it all. She mumbled something Italian in a decidedly frustrated tone before she switched back to English. "Its not like I knew better" she murmured, but the fire had dimmed somewhat and reason was returning...slowly. "I don't loathe you" she pointed out, "but I don't think we'd go well together either" she added. "And that /is/ my sensible side talking."
17 Oct 15, 04:37 AM Draco: He watched her eyes as she spoke to see she was being more reasonable. "Well that's good. I rather like you so I had thought that was at least a step in the right direction." A wave of a hand. "As if there has been anything to base that on? We have barely interacted in reality and most of what you know is based in gossip and half truths. I've talked with people who know you in the dorm and I think you seem very bright and full of promise."
17 Oct 15, 04:40 AM Giana: She snorted softly, "Malfoy, you don't know me either" she pointed out. Her eyes widened slightly. "Wait, you...asked people...about me?" Merlin, just what she needed.
17 Oct 15, 04:42 AM Draco: He laughed softly. "Hence why I wanted follow up of course. Didn't you want to hold this conversation elsewhere?" She asked seemingly surprised and he nodded. "Quietly. Nothing that sounded like romance stuff."
17 Oct 15, 04:45 AM Giana: "Mostly so I could tell you how crazy I think you are without getting kicked out of the library six weeks before the holidays" she assured him. She studied him for a long moment. "Okay /if/" she emphasized the word "I agree to this, what does 'date' mean to you?"
17 Oct 15, 04:48 AM Draco: "Date can be a few different things. Just agreeing that it can happen opens up the scope for agreeing to something. Have you ever been on a date in the first place?"
17 Oct 15, 04:53 AM Giana: The look she gave him clearly told him she thought it was a rather obvious question. "Why do you think I just asked what it meant to you?"she pointed out. "The rumors aren't ALL ridiculous, I do kind of live in my books."
17 Oct 15, 04:56 AM Draco: Pursed lips. "Wel la boring and fairly dull one means going to the Three bs and talking for a couple of hours. More adventurous would be a night time picnic or possibly a walk on the grounds talking somewhere. Night time is probably something you wouldn't consider being a bit too into your books, as you say, but I've never been caught." He laughed. "Or you could come over here, sit on my leg and kiss me once for more then ten seconds and tell me you felt absolutely nothing and mean it. If you felt something or any kind I think I would have won the point.""
17 Oct 15, 05:01 AM Giana: "Or" she crossed her arms, "You can meet me in the come and go room Saturday afternoon sans locking charm and bed, and we could have a picnic there" she offered as as compromise. "That way we could have dinner almost anywhere" and then she smirked "If I were going to say yes that is." She just shook her head at his kissing comment. "I'm a lot less concerned about me than I am about you" and for a moment she allowed herself to be transparent, "for what I would consider obvious reasons."
17 Oct 15, 05:03 AM [×] Draco: A hesitation. "That could certainly do it. Though I will point out you have little to fear about being locked in with me. I did let you out if you will recall." He tilted his head at her. "I think I'm far mor ein control actually. I'm fairly certain I didn''t summon a bed." His voice didn't get loud, but the word bed did sound a bit more separate. 17 Oct 15, 05:07 AM Giana: She looked into his eyes for a long moment. "Not what I meant" she clarified. "I mean if we're talking about who feels what, I'd be willing to bet there aren't many people in the world who know how you truly feel about anything" she was willing to bet on it actually. "And while I understand better than most people why that probably is, its still a bit concerning for someone with, say zero dating experience looking at a first date with you."
17 Oct 15, 05:09 AM Draco: She had a point and he pursed his lips before he said rather pointedly "My mother does." He looked away, making sure no one was near and about. "But I will admit that is a legitimate concern. I don't know how to satisfy you on it for a basis except to say i will trade the truth game, with the understnading there are some things I am bound not to answer."
17 Oct 15, 05:15 AM Giana: Her expression softened for a moment, and she nodded, staying quiet to let him continue. "I understand" she said softly, and she did. "There are things I can't tell you either" and didn't that make the trust issue even more complicated than it already was. "I have no idea how my parents manage it honestly, all the secrets, but they do." She had moved closer to him in order to lower her voice to a whisper. Despite the silencing charm, there were still things its paid to take extra caution for. "Family secrets" she clarified, "I'm pretty sure you understand the kind I mean." After a moment of hesitation, she added, "but I may tell you some of mine...some day." She took a deep breath, "Let me think about it for a couple of days?"
17 Oct 15, 05:16 AM [×] Draco: he nodded back. Serious. "Yes, and others connected to family. I am not sure I will be allowed to release any of mine. That's not something I get to decide, but I would trade honestly." She hesitated again and he smiled grimly. "Sure. Three days? And meet where to answer?" 17 Oct 15, 05:19 AM Giana: "Closed book then" she decided. "I never did terribly well with those" but she smiled as she said it. "Three days" she agreed "I'll meet you in the clock tower at seven" she offered. "Will that work?"
17 Oct 15, 05:20 AM Draco: he nodded. "Works. Will you still be avoiding me until then or am I allowed to smile and nod at you sometimes?" He smirked
17 Oct 15, 05:21 AM Giana: She sighed softly, "if you must" and then, before she could think better of it, she lifted her chin and closed the gap between them kissing him very soundly for a moment or two before she darted out the door once more.

apiratelassponders.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/dracos-wedding-tux.jpgi482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/SchoolOfRolePlay/fgh_zpsr0il7dc1.jpg17 Oct 15, 08:56 PM Giana: She stood, not entirely at ease, but neither was she particularly nervous. Events like this were par for the course, and Nadya was too focused on some seventh year Slytherin to play hostess. So, here she stood, next to her mother, smiling her most charming smile at all of the older women who complimented her dress and pointedly ignoring the looks from the men. Her mother had picked the dress, and hired someone for everything else. Gia, in her estimation, looked nothing like herself. It didn't take a genius to figure out what her mother was doing. Apparently she had received a letter from Narcissa Malfoy in addition to their RSVP. Giana had no idea what the letter had said, but she understood the number of galleons that had gone into the dress well enough. Strangely, if he was here, she hadn't seen him, and she wondered if he had decided to stay home after all. 17 Oct 15, 08:57 PM [×] Draco: The Malfoys arrived en masse as was socially appropriate slightly after the largest number of people had arrived so their arrival was fully noted at the entrance. Draco in his dress robes was turned immiedately towards her family and laying his eye on them led his mother straight away while his father fell into cronines and discussions. Intorducing them (as if he was the man) he eyed her outfit with obvious satisfaction before he turned from her mother to say "And this is Giana, Giana, this is my mother Narcissa Malfoy." HIs mother turned as well, taking the girl's hands as she looked her up and down as Draco's smirk became more pronounced. "What a lovely young woman! Draco tells me you are one of the smarter girls in the school?" 17 Oct 15, 09:11 PM Giana: And suddenly, as if the entire gala, or perhaps just Gia, had been waiting for them, there they were. His father, she noticed, was content to avoid the social niceties, for which she was grateful. When Draco and his mother made their way over, she had to concentrate to remain in control of her voice. "Mrs. Malfoy" she answered formally, but the smile she wore was sincere. It was easy to see by looking at this woman where Draco got it from. She was stunning. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I'm so glad you could come." She was, admittedly, more glad she had brought her son, but still. The compliment made her blush, "I enjoy learning all I can" she answered simply, wondering what else Draco had told his mother. Her own spoke up then, "Narcissa, it is good to see you again" Natalia Valerio clasped the other woman's hands in both of hers. "Thank you for the lovely letter, and I agree, we simply must find time to get together more often." She turned her focus on Draco. "And where is your date 17 Oct 15, 09:11 PM Giana: young man?" Giana very nearly rolled her eyes, knowing exactly where this was going. 17 Oct 15, 09:15 PM [×] Draco: As the mothers clearly got ready to make a conversational exit, Draco smiled and said "I have not been so fortunate as to bring one in advance, so would it bother you if I took your daughter out for a spin around the floor? She looks quite pleasing to the eye," to which his mother smirked much like he did and her mother graciously nodded saying "Why yes, I think she should enjoy herself. Please, entertain her for me." Draco held out an arm to her, a twinkle in his eyes, but said nothing till they were a bit farther away. "My my, you look ready to go..." 17 Oct 15, 09:18 PM Giana: She laid her hand in the crook of his arm, the picture of decorum and grace until they were out of earshot. As they found a place on the dance floor, she turned to face him. Rather than answer his comment, she went with "What else did you tell your mother exactly?" All the while keeping her expression carefully neutral, a small smile as though she weren't extremely irritated to be out of the loop. 17 Oct 15, 09:21 PM Draco: He saw her holding back and smirked before placing his hand on her waist and holding out his other, remembering vividly when his hand had almost been there before. "That you were lovely, looked like good stock, and that your brains were certainly a star in your family. That was about it, actually, mother took over from there as I knew she probably would She isn't in the family 'business' really so family is all she takes as her domnion." And that clearly meant Giana was being seriously considered for the breeding of her smarts. 17 Oct 15, 09:24 PM Giana: She placed her hand in his, and for a moment she was distracted by how nice it felt just being in his arms again, but only for a moment. "All I know is that she sent a letter to my mother, and whatever it said caused..." She looked down at herself "This" She sighed, "now my mother thinks I'm somehow in the running to be your wife, and she and papa are...very pleased about it." She gave him a look that clearly said she thought this was all his fault. As they turned, she noticed people looking at her and she tensed "People are staring" she said softly, sounding vulnerable and uncomfortable as she did so. 17 Oct 15, 09:28 PM Draco: He chuckled and took her hand because she hadn't offered it yet. "And you like pleasing your parents right? I would expect they like seeing you matched u as you must have been a puzzle for them." She hesitated and he leaned over as if imparting a deep secret in her ear and whispered "you are wrapped like a present and were only released into my custody. It's only attention getting while you are single, my dear. COme, one dance and we'll see about disapearing after. You know it's expected." 17 Oct 15, 09:35 PM Giana: "Yes, as a student, as their daughter" she told him. "As the potential bride of the Malfoy heir?" she had lowered her voice for this part, "not something I had pictured." She actually looked amused by that part. "They were less shocked than Nadya actually. She fell out of her chair at breakfast when mom mentioned getting a letter from your mother about me." She couldn't hide the pleased note in her voice, and there was a definite trace of something in the eyes as well. She leaned in close, both to hear him and so she could then roll her eyes at him without being seen. "Yes, I know. They put me in silver for a reason. It was all very pre-mediated." She arched a brow at him, then seemed to catch herself as she fell into frame and tried to relax. "One dance" she agreed, but when he mentioned disappearing, she seemed to tense some. "I know" 17 Oct 15, 09:40 PM Draco: He smirked and led her out on the floor. "Please, Giana, I think I know all that. But think what it would mean; no one would be pushing you at anyone else, the attention would fall off both of us nearly immediately after a contract was signed, and no one would be thinking of trying to persuade you to do anything else. You'd be signing a contract to disapear again." As they swung out he let out some more temptation, having gotten a feel for her tenseness. "You do realize, I hope, my mother stays out of the public eye as expected. This might be her only social event all season. That would be expected for my future wife as well, staying out of the politics and social stuff to raise the family. That's a lot of book time when you are young." She seemed hesitant about the disappearing part and he guessed why. "Ah yes, everyone would think I was planning on unwrapping my present you think?" He chuckled and glance down her body form before adding during a spin "Not that that won't get me some envious looks later, I believe." 17 Oct 15, 09:45 PM Giana: "Right, I would get to disappear, which would be excellent, but in exchange there is...a lot to be considered" she pointed out. "You know, the whole...she blushed lightly this time. "Well, all of it, the contract itself, Merlin knows what I would be putting my name to." And then there was the whole marrying him for the rest of her life part. She tilted her head. Her own mother was something of an anomaly since she filled the role of lady of the manor and still led an active social life. "That part might be...nice" she said finally. She had always wanted children, several in fact if she could manage it. He mentioned books and she smirked at him. "Draco Malfoy, are you trying to bribe me into having your children?" She almost laughed, but then she sobered somewhat. "Its not exactly like I'll have much of a choice. My parents know you'll be able to take care of me, and that's really all they are concerned with as far as what is best for me. The rest is..." She nearly made a face, but caught herself again. "Politics" The unwrapping comment earned him a blush. "P-partly, y-yes, that." She darted a look at him. "Don't even th-think about it Draco" 17 Oct 15, 09:51 PM [×] Draco: He c0cked a head at her as they follwed the turn of the dance. "You enjoyed the making out part I know and you expressed your belief that I am very good at what I do, so no fears there, just pleasure." A laugh and a shake of his head. "No, just pointing out it has more benefits then detriments, particularly where your interests already are as I percieve them." She spoke about choices and he shook his head at her. "You do have a choice, Giana, just as I do. Showing more interest in one then another boy lets your parents know what you would prefer. That counts with adults, gives you some control. And while yes, a lot of the world is politics, your being happy with where you end up is not." Now he laughed out loud and spun her into the final spin, ending with a dip he supported her in expertly. "On the contrary, I can think about it a lot, I just am not supposed to at on it if you are going to go through with out date." 17 Oct 15, 09:57 PM Giana: She tilted her head, mirroring him. "There is a lot more to a marriage than enjoying the making out" she pointed out to him, smirking. "The whole 'til death do us part' aspect for starters." She studied him a long moment, barely having to think about they way they moved together. That part, at least, was effortless. "So you give me books and pleasure and I give you...what exactly? Children? Someone to help with your projects?" Her lips twitched as she was torn between amusement and a distinct feeling of being out of her depth. "You're really the only boy I've ever showed interest in" she reminded him. "Well...sort of..." She wrinkled her nose, "Merlin, this is complicated." As the dance ended, and he dipped her, she felt a sudden rush. The moment was straight out of one of her novels, and in that moment, with him above her and several people around the room looking on, Giana thought that maybe, just possibly, Draco Malfoy wouldn't be hard to spend the rest of her life with. Then he 17 Oct 15, 09:58 PM Giana: spoke, and the moment was broken. "Wouldn't this technically count?" she asked him as he led her off the floor. More people were staring now, and Giana was startled to realize they were not all or even mostly female. Suddenly, it felt safer to be on Draco's arm. No one would touch what belonged to him. Of that part, she was certain. 17 Oct 15, 11:11 PM [×] Draco: He shrugged. "Of course there are, but hardly worth mentioning when you are still debating the basics." He c0cked his head again at her. "And safety and giving you an excuse not to go out socially and protection and my ear, of course, when I am debating decisions. In return I expect obedience in front of others and the right to make decisions for us. I'd discuss the more important ones to you at home behind closed doors, but I have to appear the one in control always." He might have swelled his ego a bit at the compliment. "Well, not really. However, if you don't want the attention you could give me a tour of the house you know. Does that sound easier?" 18 Oct 15, 01:30 AM [×] Draco: He hardly needed to remind her that his scores were tops in the school which spoke about his gift of magic and with hers combined into that their offspring would have extremely good odds for power, prestige, connections, and raw talent. Add in they were both pures from similar-class situations and lots of money and it was far better then many of the rather cruder types of males in their years. Much worse in some of them if you believed in inbreeding, which Draco was aware of but not afraid of at this point. However to his mind marrying outside the circle of proud families (which already had enough contacts thank you) would just be intelligent. Bring in fresh blood was always going to be preferable. 18 Oct 15, 01:47 AM [×] Draco: "There are some things I would say to you i can not around other ears and it seems safer here if you were giving me a tour to pull that off I think..." He said mysteriously in her ear only half thinking about getting her out of sight with him at this moment. While some would think they knew what the two teens were off to do, that just made it a better cover to his mind to express some secrets that should not be spoken around his family or those loyal to their side. 18 Oct 15, 05:25 AM Giana: She listened, smirking softly when he mentioned having his ear and discussing things with her. She glanced around the room for his father pointedly and then back at him like she didn't quite believe him. She was about to tell him she couldn't possibly get away tonight, when the word 'secrets' caught her attention. Knowing that he had likely done that on purpose, she was no less intrigued by the prospect. She turned her head, and searched his eyes. "All right"a soft nod and she gestured to a smaller door off the side of the room. "Come on then" She led him out the ballroom and down a warmly lit passage to another, larger door. Smiling softly, she pushed it open, revealing a fairly impressive library with books on nearly every wall, and reaching from floor to ceiling. She moved across the room to an overstuffed cream colored sofa and sat. "All right, this room has so many privacy spells on it, I'm pretty sure no one could hear us if they were standing just on the other side of the door" 18 Oct 15, 05:26 AM Giana: she informed him. "So talk" it was clear he had caught her interest, and that she wasn't exactly prepared to be patient about it. 18 Oct 15, 05:36 AM [×] Draco: That last part got through there and he nodded, following her to where she said, closing the door behind them and looking around before he came to the couch. "Nice. The Manor doesn't have so much a library as bookcases scattered through the floors in different places." Walking around first before he sat down not right next to her but close enough he appeared to relax a tad, but remained tense. "I would assume you already know as the only heir of my family there's a lot on my head. Enough that i got early teaching and lots of extra study outside of this school." He hesitated. "Not all dark." A shrug. "Anyway, my father has made many decisions on which way we were headed and it has brought us a lot of power and connections as I am sure you are aware." he sounded to be leading up to something. 18 Oct 15, 05:42 AM Giana: "Well, it is kind of to be expected" she pointed out. "Nadya and Luca are Slytherins, but my parents and I are Ravenclaws." She grinned, "I got it from them." She arched a brow, watching him study the room before he sat. She had never seen him so tense before. "Draco, relax. You don't have to tell me anything you don't feel like" she reminded him softly, but she went quiet when he spoke. A soft nod, "yes, I would say I have an idea, on all counts" Even though their family had four children, she understood that a pureblood family with only one heir would always be at risk until that heir had children. She smiled softly at him, encouraging him to continue, knowing from his tone he wasn't finished. 18 Oct 15, 05:46 AM Draco: A nod. "I would like to see that expanded for sure. Most of what we have is too dark and too rare for the younger crowd. I would rather see that gathered somewhere and the rest filled with more general stuff." She didn't push him but she did speak in a way he could not talk much about. He slipped off his sleeved coat and leaned forward, undoing one sleeve slowly as he met her eyes. "There are some decisions my father made for us I am beginning to have some hesitations about. Not that they can be changed, for sure, but do not ever repeat what I am about to impart to you to anyone else. Ever." He stopped rolling up his sleeve and waited to hear her response first. "Your word on that part, please." 18 Oct 15, 05:50 AM Giana: Giana had rarely if ever met a book she didn't like, and the idea of so many to be considered off limits did not appeal to her. "I think that sounds like an excellent idea" she agreed. She watched as he undressed and tilted her head, still smiling until he started speaking again, and her expression became more serious. "I would offer to vow on it, but we would need a third person for that" She shrugged one shoulder delicately. "Of course I won't tell anyone, Draco." She thought of Nadya briefly, as she met his eyes. "I give you my word" she said seriously. 18 Oct 15, 05:55 AM [×] Draco: "If you understood more of their nature, you would understand why I think they have had a bit too much influence in my early life. I'd rather restrict that more with my children." When she agreed and then gave her word he nodded, then finished pulling back the sleeve before turning his arm her way so she could see what was there. "There are some committments I do not agree with any longer, though I can not tell you the specifics." His eyes sought hers out, his face quite serious. "I tell you this so you can understand I want to change where my family is headed." A hesitation. 18 Oct 15, 06:01 AM Giana: She was beginning to understand more on what he wasn't saying than what he actually was. While her family was full of deatheaters, they had never forced anything dark on their children. Giana had been able to make her own life choices. "Makes sense" was all she said when he mentioned the children. It wasn't until he started rolling up his sleeve that she knew without having to actually see the mark on his arm. Her eyes widened and her voice was soft and small. "A-already?" she murmured. He wasn't any older than she was, but then the things he had said after registered, and her eyes flew up to meet his from where they had been studying his arm. "Draco"...she murmured softly, obviously at a loss for words. No wonder her family was supportive. She reached out and took his hand. To be a deatheater was one thing, to even hint at the vaguest possibility of rebelling against that. Her eyes never left his, "So..." she took a deep breath. "What now?" 18 Oct 15, 06:07 AM [×] Draco: Draco nodded. "I did poit out several times I am the best over those even in the next year. I am not the only one who thinks so." He frowned and rolled the sleeve back down, fastening the cuff with deft fingers looking at the floor. When she took his hand his eyes flashed to her, but he didn't resist her pulling his hand closer. "I told you I would play the truth game with you if you asked. This is something that is simply unfair to spring on someone after. You deserve to know before you decide. It's that simple." he turned more towards her squeezing her hand slightly. "My mother has never had to participate in such and I would not expect her to. My father and I both made sure she was shielded from it. Do you understand now?" 18 Oct 15, 06:14 AM Giana: She traced his palm with her thumb absently. A nod, "I know, I just didn't expect you to come out with the heavy stuff first" she admitted. She studied his face, "maybe we ought to actually make it through a date before I try to decide anything." Here, she smiled, but her eyes were sad, thinking of how hard it must have been for him to go through all this so young. Giana had always had a soft heart, and it hurt for him now as well. She stood, still holding his hand, and moved closer to him before she sat down again. "I do" and it was true, Giana wasn't one of the smartest girls in her year for nothing. It was, perhaps, the first time she had felt he was being open with her. Leaning forward slightly, she kissed him, partly out of a desire to comfort him, and partly because she had desperately wanted to since he walked into the ballroom. Pulling back slightly, she smiled almost shyly. 18 Oct 15, 06:19 AM [×] Draco: A raised eyebrow. "I match commitments for commitments, it's why you should listen to my word instead of what you have heard. Would you not warn first before hand if you were in my shoes?" he saw what he had chosen to do had made a real impact and felt a smile he did not show. She kissed him and he kissed back, much lighter then their first one, but no less interesting. It didn't have the fire, but it showed the more gentle side. "Thank you. Clearly I will not speak about this again outside of this room and now you understand why. I am giving you a great deal of trust up front." 18 Oct 15, 06:25 AM Giana: She looked at him with a soft expression. "You do kind of give off a king of the universe impression most of the time" she reminded him. Then, after another moment she added: "Yes, I would, of course I would" before she kissed him, and something inside of her melted. "I thought not" she acknowledged, "and since you've been honest with me..." She bit her lip, still feeling as if she was taking a risk in what she was about to tell him. "I can't stand the thought of becoming a deatheater" she admitted in a soft whisper. "I don't know if you noticed, but I'm not exactly the type of person to do anything bad, to anyone, ever." She looked as if the thought of it bothered her very much. "And I don't..." She stopped, took a breath, started again. "I don't particularly care about 'pure-blood supremecy' " she admitted. "I just want to live my life without having to worry about whether someone I love isn't coming home." She didn't meet his eyes this time "So I guess you could say that's my secret 18 Oct 15, 06:25 AM Giana: ." 18 Oct 15, 06:30 AM [×] Draco: A second kiss and he felt he had broken through some hidden test. "Good, then you understand." he nodded, a soft smile appearing. "You would not. Ever. That I think you will believe now when I say I promise." She said 'love.' His eyes widened a tad though he made no other move. "Yet your family does believe. Or professes to. How do you deal with that then?" If she came with him, would she end up against her family if they stayed with the DE? Or did she know or suspect they didn't entirely go along with it either? That raised some interesting questions! "Thank you for the trust, I will not tell another." 18 Oct 15, 06:36 AM Giana: She smiled a bit more now. "I think I can take your word on it, yes." She sighed, looking conflicted. "My mother's family....they're very devout, but mum was never involved because they shielded her growing up" she explained. "Papa, he..." She bit her lip. "His whole family was in the DE, so he just assumed that was always the goal. He...you would never guess it to know him, but I know he's had to do things..." She shook her head as if to clear it. "Mum's brothers were dad's mentors, its how they met." She looked almost upset. "If they were to....if it started again, and my uncles went back, my dad would follow them...and" She stopped, tried again. "They would, I know that." She couldn't cry now, while the charms on her makeup would keep it in place, crying in front of him was not an option she allowed herself just yet. "Y-you're w-welcome" 18 Oct 15, 06:40 AM [×] Draco: He nodded; he suspected he knew at least a few of 'those things.' Holding her hand a bit tighter, he held out the other as if to say if she needed to , he would hug her close if she wanted it. "Then I understand your hesitation. I am sort of both sides. And yes, we would have to work on that. I suspect things may become tricky in the near future." That was as close as he would go to saying something might be in the works. 18 Oct 15, 06:47 AM Giana: He held out his other hand, and she went into his arms more willingly than she would have thought. She felt safe there despite his reputation, and she supposed it made sense. According to their mother, her father had been something similar back at Hogwarts. She hesitated, "If you're...what you're trying to do...wouldn't it be easier if you married someone with...fewer dark connections in their history?" While Gia herself was totally innocent, she knew that anyone viewing the connection from the outside would look at her family first. She arched a brow, but knew from his tone he wouldn't elaborate. Rather than push him, she inhaled slowly, trying to get her emotions back under control. "I get the feeling you're understating" she murmured. "But okay" 18 Oct 15, 04:04 PM [×] Draco: Surprisingly for Draco, having her come directly into his arms said he had already won in his mind and that was what got him the most. The seduction of anyone was enjoyable, but having someone voluntarily want that seduction the way she was beginning to do was what he was liking the most about her. He had to remind himself she was still clueless about what being with a man felt like. "Who said I want easy? What I want is treasure and you are very much treasure, Giana." Besides, the fact her family fit the outside view even though he and his father were technically out of the DE in many eyes, just kept people wondering. "Not really, I'm out of the direct loop in a way, but still know some of what's happening." 18 Oct 15, 04:10 PM Giana: She tilted her head up to look at him, less focused on her own problems for a moment. "I'm beginning to think not much with you is easy, Draco" she teased him softly. The treasure comment caused her to blush. "I'm..." she hesitated. "In way over my head is what I am. I'm not good at being the center of attention, and it felt like the entire room was watching us tonight." Including Nadya, of which she had no doubt. She would have some explaining to do later tonight. She bit her lip, gears turning as she considered, or tried to consider all the complications of this situation. "No one's come up to lead yet that I know of, but I know several have tried" she spoke in barely a whisper. 18 Oct 15, 04:15 PM [×] Draco: He grimaced. "I'm the heir. I don't have an easy spot. That's one thing I have tofix too, this business of one son is insane. How do you feel about kids?" He smiled and kissed her, for a long couple of minutes, evoking as much emotion from her as he could before he brought it to an end whispering "I can compensate for that. And if you choose me, that attention is going to soon be gone. If you don't, I suspect you will be pursued by others." A nod as he heard her words. "I could figure as much. It's not a group which could be run by more then one person." He smelled her and knew he anted her. 18 Oct 15, 04:24 PM Giana: She nodded, knowing Luca felt much the same. His question about kids made her smile. "Well, I don't particularly want to be the Weasleys or anything, but..." She bit her lip, "I've always kind of wanted a large family. I'm so used to having a lot of people around that anything else would be...odd." He kissed her then, and she fell into it easily. When he pulled away, she gave him a scolding look. "You can't ask me serious questions and then distract me like that" she scolded him. "Its not fair" She sighed, knowing he was right. The whole world would soon know that Draco Malfoy had been at least interested in her, and if she didn't sign his family's contract, that would bring the interest of others. She shook her head at him. "You can't compensate for all that attention by being a good kisser you know." She went slightly more pale for a long moment before she admitted in a barely audible voice "Seth Cole senior, one of my 'uncles'...he's trying to gather enough support to...claim the throne so to speak." 18 Oct 15, 04:30 PM [×] Draco: He felt like cheering inside. "I don't want my family to come this close to dying out again. So I want kids. Multiples." He hesitated. "Maybe soon to start." He grinned at her scolding adding "Oh I think that's the best way actually." When she complained again he shook his head at her. "Oh not just kissing. There's a whole world for me to lead you to, trust me. You won't feel cheated at all." His frown deepened. "So what, I have a better survival chance with you? Because he won't try and end his niece's happiness?" 18 Oct 15, 04:35 PM Giana: "Of course not" she agreed. "So lots of heirs then, that's good to know in advance" and she didn't have to ask what 'soon to start' meant either. "Of course you would" she laughed softly, "because it gives you the advantage." She studied him for a long moment, smiling wryly. "A whole world hmm? Like what?" She shook her head. "No, not where I was going at all actually." She frowned, "I'm saying that if he succeeds it might create problems later...for both of us." She frowned, "Because that means I'll be the 'Dark Lord's niece, and my entire family will be inner circle." 18 Oct 15, 04:40 PM Draco: He drew up a bit tho not enough o be out of her easy reach. "Hey, I like having advantages. I don't want to not have them." A smiile. "Bathtub cuddles, sex of course, massages without clothes, pure heat of skin keeping you toasty warm in bed, long, intimate moments of just holding one another, knowing you are completely wanted and desired, oh all sorts of things just in bed alone." He grinned. That faded at her thoughts and he asked quietly "You think he will move to strike at us because of the past?" 18 Oct 15, 04:45 PM Giana: She rolled her eyes, still smiling. "You are the king of advantages" she pointed out, straightening up herself so that she was out of his arms again. Flushing crimson, she nodded none the less. "Oh, right, those" she hesitated. "And I guess its not like I have to worry about having someone on my level to talk to" she admitted. "That part might be nice." She loved her siblings, but of all of them she was really the only academic. Thinking about her family from a strategic perspective was hard, but she nodded. "I think its possible that if we got married, and he succeeded, us remaining on the other side might be viewed as a betrayal on my part, and that's not something my family are prone to forgive. If you were to ask me about whether my parents would do it, my answer might be different, but..." She took a deep breath. "Uncle Seth has always been...driven, and hot tempered." 18 Oct 15, 04:50 PM Draco: He nodded, taking that as a comliment. " 'oh right those.' That really does show how little you know about their impact. You'll be blown away." She sounded more then tempted even tho she moved from his arms. "And I have experiences you do not, some of which you may not want, but I know you wiill listen to them out of interest in what I learned from them. Knowledge is power." A long pause. "I was thinking of being more neutral but still dark. But you think he would be a true danger? Would the rest of your family support him that way against blood?" 18 Oct 15, 04:55 PM Giana: She shrugged, "I'll have to take your word for it I'm afraid" she admitted. "Those are things you can't really learn about from books" Then she reconsidered, "well, not really anyway." A nod as she acknowledged his point, "Of course I would listen if you know more about something than I do, that just makes sense" she agreed, logical to the last...most of the time. "Neutral? You" she smirked at him "Never" In truth, Draco Malfoy was one of the most difficult people to read she had ever met, and she was certain he was proud of it. She thought about it, frowning once more. "I would hope not, but as long as its a possibility I have to acknowledge that its out there. A long way off, but still." 18 Oct 15, 04:59 PM [×] Draco: Shaking his head he said "No, no you can't. But I hope you will trust me when I say it's everything." She was so logical. He wasn't used to people not doing things entirely by emotions. "More background then, not in the front of everything." Though he knew even he would have trouble with it, he also knew he had to get them out of the main sight too for survival reasons. "I'll have to think about that. Might take me awhile to figure out the best way to deal with it, but I will." 18 Oct 15, 05:04 PM Giana: She thought about it for about a minute before she finally answered: "I'll believe it when I experience it" and then grinned at him. "If I experience it" She listened to him, going quiet while she processed everything and finally she looked up with a thoughtful expression. "What if we....if everything works out, we could adopt a war orphan, maybe one that would otherwise have trouble getting adopted." She didn't have to say 'one whose parents were on the losing side' because it was obvious what she meant. "It might help us establish a more positive image." 18 Oct 15, 05:08 PM Draco: She was agreeing to and being hesitant at the same time. Sorta of frustrating, but more of a challenge. Her speaking about orphans made him frown. "Hmm. That might help, being the guardian of several pure lines might be it's own protection. Say, two or three of them?" He rather liked the concept... 18 Oct 15, 05:14 PM Giana: "Right, except we wait until after we have our first son, so that no one could argue his rights as the heir, then the others provide more potential for family expansion and connections in the future as well as being beneficial for our image on both sides. Those on the light side see us taking in a bunch of war orphans no one wanted, and the darker ones see us preserving the pureblood lines that are at risk for dying out" She nodded as if affirming it to herself. "So either way it looks good, and we get a bigger family with less risk for health complications and such." She met his eyes, "I think it works." 18 Oct 15, 05:18 PM [×] Draco: As she spoke, he found himself intrigued more and more and as she finished he knew what he was going to do. She met his eyes and spoke and he nodded. "Yes, it does. And deserves a reward." Now he leaned in pulling her close to him and kissed her deeply, desiring her to feel his interest in her and her being his without question. After several minutes of intensity, he left her lips, but not her skin, making his way down her throat. She already sounded like she had chosen, he wanted her to feel it too and stop resisting the idea. 18 Oct 15, 05:26 PM Giana: She smiled, pleased that he liked the idea. Before she could ask what sort of reward, he was pulling her close, and she didn't have to wonder anymore. He filled up her senses the same way his presence seemed to fill up a room. Everything about him was overwhelming to her, and as his lips moved to her throat, she wondered in the back of her mind if her mother hadn't chosen this style on purpose to allow him better access. For the moment, however, she didn't really care. One hand came up to tangle in his hair, and the other lay on his arm. She moaned softly when he found a spot near her collarbone which felt particularly amazing, and her eyes fell closed as she enjoyed the sensation. "D-draco...Merlin..." she murmured softly. If the rest of her life was nothing but this, she found herself thinking it would not be a bad life to have. 18 Oct 15, 05:32 PM [×] Draco: Hearing her starting to believe, to feel what he meant he moved a bit lower, just to hint and slowly then made his way back up to her lips finding little resistence anymore. Softly inch from her mouth he said "And that is only the beginning, Giana, when you are mine. The world for you will open into something far more fascinating then you can imagine. And I think you will understand how much I am to you then as well." 18 Oct 15, 05:36 PM Giana: He pulled away from her, allowing her to catch her breath somewhat, and some sense of sanity to return. Opening her eyes slowly, she opened her mouth to correct his "when" comment but she held off instead. "As ever, Draco, it is what I would be to you that concerns me" she managed, pleased by her ability to think more clearly than she expected. Reaching up, she touched his face, studied his eyes. Even as your wife, would I ever actually get to know you?" 18 Oct 15, 05:43 PM [×] Draco: He nearly rolled his eyes at her with her return to logical thinking, but found himself partly just amused. So she was a hard nut to distract? "You would be my wife and as such you would have more access to me then anyone else ever has. You already know more then my parents do as to what my intentions are. And you still wonder who I am?" He leaned very close to her as he spoke into her ear "You will know me more thoroughly then anyone else. In every inch, in every detail. As a wife and husband pair we will be partners, but I must appear to be in charge when others are around. That will allow me to keep you out of thelimelight and front center of everyone's attention. What more do you want, Giana? Do you want me to pick you up and carry you to your room and seduce you entirely tonight?" 18 Oct 15, 05:50 PM Giana: She could hear the frustration in his voice, but strangely, she wasn't frightened by it. Instead of answering his seduction comment, she bit her lip and looked up at him imploringly. "Its just...my parents...they" She sighed, looking frustrated herself now. "My dad refused to tell my mum anything about his time with the deatheaters. He said it was necessary in case they lost, but even now they don't talk about. I think its because he's afraid of what she'll do if she knows everything. Its...hard for her, the not knowing, and its been that way all their lives, since they started dating as teenagers." She wanted him to understand she wasn't trying to be difficult. These were things she had been forced to watch all her life and unable to help. Then, after a moment she looked up at him seriously. "If I said yes, would you?" 18 Oct 15, 05:53 PM [×] Draco: He heard what she said and knew what had to be done. Sure, it was a formal party, but maybe this once the rumors wouldn't be rumors. "Come here," he said and slipped his arms under her legs and hoisted her off the couch into his arms. Curled against him he said to her surprised face "I would tell you everything so you would know who I am and what I am going against. SO say yes, Giana, and then tell me where your room is. I will show you how serious I am." And walking to the door he kicked it open and strode into the hallway with her. 18 Oct 15, 06:06 PM Giana: While the question had largely been a test to see what he would do when called out, Giana realized quickly that unlike most boys her age seemed to, Draco didn't bluff. As he lifted her off the couch, she wrapped her arms around his neck automatically and startled hazel eyes met his deep blue ones. She listened as he spoke, and her whole body flushed warm at the promise she found in his expression. "Yes" she murmured before she could think better of it, but as he moved them both out into the hallway, she gave him a different look that wondered clearly if he had lost his mind. "Draco!" she admonished him in a whisper "What are you doing? Someone's going to see us!" 18 Oct 15, 06:08 PM [×] Draco: She said yes and he turned, started walking as if he knew where he was going. "I don't care and neither should you. Which way or I will carry you into the ball like this." 18 Oct 15, 06:19 PM Giana: A look into his eyes and she smirked. "Fine, go ahead" No way he would actually carry her into a ballroom full of people including his mother and several other friends and acquaintances. It wouldn't suit his image or his reputation. 18 Oct 15, 06:23 PM Draco: He about faced and headed back down the hallway to the ball carrying her as he said "Your room you would have enjoyed more, but I guess you want to get all the attention over with at once." As he approached the door to the ballroom the voices could be heard and the level grew louder. He stopped long enough to lift up one foot clearly planning on kicking the door open as he said "You may want to hide your face in my neck at this point by the way." 18 Oct 15, 06:25 PM Giana: He turned back toward the ballroom, and it wasn't until they reached the door that she met his eyes. "You're bluffing" she insisted, though a bit more nervous than before. If he did this, marrying him would be about the only way she would ever be invisible again. "I don't hide" she told him, keeping her eyes on his. 18 Oct 15, 06:30 PM [×] Draco: He met her eyes. "I don't bluff. And this will teach you never to call me ut on something again. Therefore, totally worth the reaction." And he kicked the doors open hard. As they slammed back against the walls making enough noise to draw attention he walked straight into the ball past several surprised faces and across the floor straight to her mother where he said "Excuse me, Ma'am, but I want this one. She challenged me thinking I was bluffing and if you can produce a contract right now, I'll sign it without hesitation." He saw his mother torn between embarrass and proud. This was going to be the talk of the adult circles, not just the school. Giana was now the focus of the wizarding world. 18 Oct 15, 06:35 PM Giana: It wasn't until the sound of the door's flying open echoed through the ballroom that she turned in time to see every single face in the room turned toward them with various degrees of shocked expressions. Not content with that of course, he carried her across the room. "Draco Lucius Malfoy I swear to Merlin if you don't..." She was interrupted by his speaking to her mother. Nadya, who was standing next to Natalia, was standing, eyes wide and jaw dropped, staring at them both as if she would never believe what her eyes were telling her. The sight was enough to make her laugh, despite the circumstances. "All right, fine, you absolutely impossible man, yes, I'll marry you. Now, will you Put. Me. Down!" Her mother, for her part, was looking between the two of them before darting a glance at Narcissa. "I'm sure we can have something drawn up if everyone is agreeable" she answered, looking both surprised and highly amused. 18 Oct 15, 06:39 PM [×] Draco: He heard her anger, interrupted by laughter and her verbal agreement. "Yo heard it from her, she wants this too." He set her down but did not let her get away without capturing her hand. "I assume taking her with me is out of the question? She is already all wrapped up so nice..." Now his mother covered a smile but nodded pulling out her wand to summon up a general contract out of the air. Giana's mother caught it and motioned them to come over aside to the refreshment side while the conversation began excitedly behind them at these new developments. Lucius appeared out of the crowd saying "Well, a little excitement is always nice at these things. Everything under control?" Draco nodded. 18 Oct 15, 06:43 PM Giana: Giana was so focused on both mothers and Draco that for a few moments she was able to go without noticing the attention she was getting. It wasn't until Draco's father appeared that she began to realize the full implications. Her father was just behind him, however, eyes warm and approving. She basked in it, and also in Nadya's apparent disbelief. She turned to look at Draco as he took her hand, leading them both to the table. "Under control" she leaned closer to him to repeat. "When you're around? I don't think such a thing is possible." 18 Oct 15, 06:46 PM [×] Draco: The debate over details lasted almost no time and a lawyer was pulled from the crowd, rather bemused at being called into this situation. As the contract was shown, Draco stepped forward and signed it at once, pulling her with him as she murmured and he said back in her ear "Oh I think this is all you, Giana," and handed her the quill. Both sets of parents watched as did the lawyer. 18 Oct 15, 06:53 PM Giana: A quick scribbling of a rather elegant signature, and it was done. The contract was taken up by the lawyer to be processed properly, and both mothers went immediately to wedding plans. Giana, as if suddenly realizing the weight of exactly what at just happened, in addition to noticing just how many people were staring in their direction, returned to herself with startling realization. "I just signed a...." her voice was too soft to be heard by much of anyone, but her eyes were wide and she had paled considerably. She had basically just signed her life away without even reading the papers. There was no telling really what she had just agreed too. Merlin...bloody ****ing hell. 18 Oct 15, 06:56 PM Draco: Hearing her, Draco pulled her into his arms for her to hide and smiled at Nadya's face. "Yes, my bold one, you did. Congratulations on making the social event of the year suddenly that much more exciting!" He held her for a full minute as his father and hers congratulated him. Then he whisered to her "Giana? You want to be taken away by your sister now or do you want to stay?" 18 Oct 15, 06:59 PM Giana: She didn't answer him, hiding her face in his shoulder as he held her close, unable even to hide the fact that she was shaking. She could feel everyone's eyes on her almost as if it were a physical thing, and suddenly all she wanted was a little bit of privacy to process everything that had just happened. Still, she knew that if she went with Nadya she would be bombarded with many questions she likely didn't have answers to. "I-I w-would l-like to stay" she murmured. "D-dance with me, p-please" she murmured against his robes next to his ear. At least on the floor, she could focus on Draco and ignore the rest web.tradekorea.com/upload_file2/product/851/P00269851/oimg_GC00000002_CA03277798.jpg18 Oct 15, 07:04 PM Draco: He smiled, seeing an echo of it in her father's face before he said "In a minute, looks like they are bring-- ah yes, of course." A box was brought by her mother and opened and two rings, one red the other white lay inside. Reaching out he said "Giana, your hand please." Picking up the white one he took her finger and slid it on, feeling the ring change shape as it fitted to her finger snugly where she had never worn one before. Then he picked up the other and set it in her hand. "Almost done." 18 Oct 15, 07:08 PM Giana: Rings, of course, she had forgotten that part. Holding out her hand, he placed the ring on her finger, and strangely, she felt some sort of old magic shoot through her arm like a warming sensation. Not thinking too much of it since many old family jewelry had enchantments placed on them, she smiled up at him when he placed the ring in her palm. Taking his hand, she slid the ring on his finger and a bit of her anxiety faded for a moment. "There" she said softly, "All set?" 18 Oct 15, 07:12 PM [×] Draco: He saw her take up some heart again and nodded as she looked at him. "All set. Now we can dance. But first," and he picked up some of the punch and handed it to her, knowing she probably had a dry throat as he downed one himself before recapturing her hand. "There, better?" 18 Oct 15, 07:24 PM Giana: It seemed strange to her, how he seemed to understand what she needed before even she did. Accepting the glass, she took a long sip and nodded. "Much" She followed him onto the floor, and once they were moving, she spoke softly. "What in Merlin's name did I just put my name on?" she asked him, hoping he might have some insight. 18 Oct 15, 07:27 PM Draco: Pleased he had thought of that as it seemed to please her, he led her onto the floor where they were the center of many conversations. "Hmm, they didn't have long, but I think all parents who are thinking about it have one around ready to go. Probably traditional stuff, rings, sheets, baby in first year, etc etc stuff like that I suspect. We'll probably leave with a copy and I can show you." he suspected she was coming with him in this very dress actually but didn't say that 18 Oct 15, 07:32 PM Giana: It was true, many were beginning to suggest that the entire thing had been a collaborative master stroke on the part of both the Malfoys and the Valerios. People would talk for months, impressing the older crowd, and bringing jealousy from the younger, especially in Nadya's case. "Sheets" she cringed, though she tried to hide it. "Merlin" she murmured, flushing dark. "I might have tried to argue that point if I'd been paying attention." She nodded, feeling a little better. "All right, seems fair" she agreed. It helped to be able to lose herself in motions as they went through them. "So much for fading into the background" she smiled ruefully. "People are going to think we did that on purpose" she shook her head gently. 18 Oct 15, 07:35 PM Draco: He smirked and dipped her once, then sent her into a twirl, rather pleased with himself for sure. "I suspect they want as little input from the bride as possible during contracts." He chuckled and then said softer "You did challenge me. I don't take that lightly you know. I have a certain...face to keep up. Please remember that." He saw his parents speaking with hers and knew arrangements were being finished up. 18 Oct 15, 07:39 PM Giana: "Imagine that" she smiled sardonically. His next statement, however, was a bit confusing for her, and she wasn't exactly certain how to take it. "Hey now, I didn't make you take the option for the double door entrance into the ballroom" she murmured softly for his ears only. She searched his eyes for a long moment and went quiet, thoughtful, wondering for the first time what she might have gotten herself into, since everything she'd said about the many aspects of being the potential Malfoy bride were still true. Now, she wasn't just the potential Malfoy bride, she was contracted as Draco's future wife. She lost some of her color again, still not speaking as she began to lose herself in her thoughts. 18 Oct 15, 07:43 PM [×] Draco: He shifted her weight for the next twirl and added "In a way you did, telling me you thought I was bluffing. At that point I already was set to do that, but you rather guaranteed it." She paled and he thought she was beginning to think. Couldn't have that yet. "I wold imagine they will make the wedding rather quick now don't you think? With such a splash as we just made?" Out of the corner of his eyes he saw a bag handed off to his mother which was certainly not hers. Overnight? 18 Oct 15, 07:48 PM Giana: "I /did/ think you were bluffing" came the soft, distracted answer. She was still only half paying attention as the gears in her mind began turning faster. She had just agreed to marry the sole heir of one of the most infamous families in wizarding Britain. His next statement didn't help, turning her head, she saw one of her bags being passed to Narcissa Malfoy and she only barely avoided panicking on the spot. She was leaving tonight? So quickly, but suddenly it was clear what her mother was doing. From the moment she entered Malfoy Manor, she would be under Draco's protection, in that way, the actions of her father and uncles wouldn't effect her. Understanding it, however, did not mean she felt nearly ready for a change that large. Suddenly, everything was happening too fast to process and it was as if Giana had reverted to some sort of auto-pilot, going through the motions, but fully lost in her own mind as panic set in behind the carefully constructed face. "Seems so" she answered without much inflection. 18 Oct 15, 07:52 PM [×] Draco: The dance ended and he swung her off the floor on his arm, noting her neutral face. "Well next time you will know better." His parents were receiving their cloaks -- this made sense they would leave early after that flash of drama! "Looks like you are actually wrapped up for me. I assume your mother choose the dress." Her father came over with a wrap or her shoulders and a hug before her mother kissed her and whispered something. Draco got his own cloak on and in a minute they were out on the stoop, appirating as a family unit a moment later in front of the manor. i1169.photobucket.com/albums/r508/shava4/Scor/Manor/d_zps39e47681.jpgi1169.photobucket.com/albums/r508/shava4/Scor/Manor/f_zpse0ee48d9.jpg18 Oct 15, 07:55 PM Giana: Suddenly, and far too quickly for her liking, Giana found herself wrapped up and sent off on Draco's arm, it seemed mere moments before she was standing at the imposing arches of Malfoy Manor, and wondering if such a place would ever feel like home. Suddenly feeling very small and immensely overwhelmed, she retreated further into herself, safe behind a wall of apparent deference and meekness. What was probably lovely in the sunlight appeared foreboding on the cloudy, chilled winter night as she stood looking up at it with trepidation. 18 Oct 15, 08:00 PM [×] Draco: In through the gates, Draco felt like he was escorting an imperiousd soul, but he waited till they got in the door before he took the bag from his father being told they would send an elf in the morning when her things arrived. Realizing he was going to have to work her things into his room he made a slight face thinking about girly stuff then turned her towards the understairs area. "We'll keep you from seeing the rest tonight it will look better in the daylight anyway." Guiding her down the stairs to the children's wing, he asked "Any questions? Comments? Need some inferni refreshments?" i1169.photobucket.com/albums/r508/shava4/Scor/Manor/y_zps02628da1.jpg18 Oct 15, 08:03 PM Giana: She followed him easily enough, but did not speak until he asked her a direct question. Coming to herself somewhat, she finally spoke: "It is very...gothic" she said at last. "I guess I hadn't expected to be rushed out so quickly" she finally admitted. "Or...well...any of it so quickly really." It was, in fact, as though she had been imperioused a cloud seemed to have settle over her expression as though she couldn't quite get her head around all that had happened in the last hour. 18 Oct 15, 08:08 PM [×] Draco: A shrug. "Ancestor's choice." A purse of his lips. "based on what I have seen of you in the recent past, I get the feeling they didn't want to give you chance torethink things." But as he escorted her down the long hall to the last suite he added "Children's wing, I-- we're the only residents down here. Fortunately, I have plenty of space." He ushered her into the first room closing the door behind them and waving her to go onwards towards the living room. In there was another door. i1169.photobucket.com/albums/r508/shava4/Scor/Manor/w_zpsc37213cf.jpgi1169.photobucket.com/albums/r508/shava4/Scor/Manor/u_zps9b46744b.jpg18 Oct 15, 08:13 PM Giana: She nodded, "very likely" she answered, not going into detail about what she suspected of her mother. She had already guessed that might be the case, as she went into the living room, she gazed around at everything, so different from the bright colored, warmly lit rooms of home. Still, she sat carefully on the sofa, conscious of her dress and gazed around at the painting on the wall above her head, still quiet. 18 Oct 15, 08:17 PM [×] Draco: Feeling awkward, Draco stood in the doorway a moment before coming over to sit beside her. "I, ah, assume you want some time to change or something. Do you want to talk? Or just go to bed? I could pour you a bath if you want..." trying to get her to talk felt a bit difficult. Pointing back at the office he said "Father always wanted me to have a place to do my studies, this was my room for receiving people. The only room that's been mine only is the other one through there," he waved at the door a bit uncomfortably with a frown. "It's ours now I guess." i1169.photobucket.com/albums/r508/shava4/Scor/Manor/u_zps9b46744b.jpgi1169.photobucket.com/albums/r508/shava4/Scor/Manor/x_zpsf4afb6d0.jpg18 Oct 15, 08:23 PM Giana: She blinked a few times, took a deep breath and said "Sorry, Draco. I'm...I'm a bit overwhelmed I guess. It's all a bit.." she gestured to the room at large. "Much" She took his hand and squeezed. "I'd love a bath" and then she hesitated a moment to get up her nerve. "Is it...big enough...for both of us?" 18 Oct 15, 08:25 PM [×] Draco: A nod, assuming as much. "I rather thought so. It's why i didn't ask you anything while mother and father were around." A moment's pause. A quickened pulse. "Ah, yes it is actually. That won't be too much for you?" He stood, still holding her bag. 18 Oct 15, 08:31 PM Giana: "Thanks for that" she answered. A soft shrug accompanied by a rueful smile. "Everything about this night has been too much for me, Draco" she answered. "What's what more new experience?" She smiled, "and besides that, I could /really/ use a bath." 18 Oct 15, 08:34 PM Draco: He chuckled. "Wait here a second," and he stepped through the bathroom to the bedroom, setting her bag down on the couch, then shutting the door and coming back into the bathroom. Starting the water with a tap of the wand he slipped out of his dress robes and into a bathrobe leaving his things hanging on the back of the door. Stepping out, he said "Ready?" He put out a hand for her, then guided her into the rather sizable bathroom. "See? Plenty of space and already warming up." 18 Oct 15, 08:39 PM Giana: "All right" She waited a few moments for him to return. When he spoke, she laughed softly. "Probably not" she took his hand anyway, "but let's go anyway." She stepped into the bathroom and turned her back to him. "I'm pretty sure its going to take some complex wandwork to get this dress off" she informed him. 18 Oct 15, 08:43 PM [×] Draco: he smiled at her attempt and even more when she turned her back on him. Instead of removing it he slid his hands around her waist and clasped them in front, kissing the side of her neck and said "Actually I see it has a clasp on the back I recognize to tempt situations because it releases things quickly. Speeds up young men's blood if they recognize it." 18 Oct 15, 08:46 PM Giana: "d@mn it mum" she murmured softly, though she did seem to relax some when he kissed her neck. "They really did mean for everything to play out this way didn't they?" 18 Oct 15, 08:49 PM Draco: He nodded, then kissed his way up her neck a bit farther. "I didn't ask them to, but it seems so. You were packaged up for a reason, we just did it a way they weren't expecting." Slipping his fingers over the catch he slid it down and the dress started topeel off as he slid his hands up and cupped her softly. "However, I rather like the way this part is happening and it's all us." 18 Oct 15, 08:52 PM Giana: "What was in the letter your mother sent" she managed, though she was obviously distracted now. As the dress peeled away, the feeling of his touch caused her to gasp. She nodded, "at least for now." 18 Oct 15, 08:57 PM [×] Draco: He shrugged. "I don't know, I guess they took it and ran with it. You did say you'd never expressed interest in a boy before." Caressing her there, he kissed her neck again aiming for the spot which had made her gasp earlier in the evening. "Goodness, most Ravenclaws I think smell of old dust, but you smell much more interesting to me..." Waving his hand at the water it cut off and he slipped his hands off of her breasts down her sides 18 Oct 15, 09:01 PM Giana: She closed her eyes and a moan hummed softly through her body before she nodded. "Probably like some combination of cooking spices I would think" she answered. "Grandmother and I were baking this morning before all the preparations began." Her lips twitched, "and they don't all smell like dust and books" she chided him playfully. As his hands worked their way down her sides, she squirmed a bit as he grazed a spot on her hip that tickled a bit. Opening her eyes again slowly, she glanced around the room. "Its all very manly in here" she observed. "I suppose you'd object if I turned it all pink?" She turned her head to smirk at him. 18 Oct 15, 09:05 PM [×] Draco: "Baking?" He sniffed her shoulder. "Baked goods. You've heard the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, right?" Sliding his hands under her panty top he pushed it down saying "Hmm, shall I lift you into the bath, fiancee?" His robe didn't quite cover the fact his body was reacting to her, but a nearly nude woman did that for most guys. "While I will allow some changes, I will completely object to that much of a color change." 18 Oct 15, 09:09 PM Giana: She laughed, a genuine, warm sound that echoed softly in the room. "And you do remember I'm half Italian, right?" His lifting comment caused her to grin, but she shook her head. "I think you've done quite enough lifting for one night" she told him. The look on his face, so serious, caused her to laugh more, and she nodded. "I'm only kidding Draco, I hate pink." 18 Oct 15, 09:12 PM Draco: He smirked, realizing he had never seen the kitchens in the manor. "I'm reminded quite well right here," he said sliding one of his hands back up to cup her delightfully before he waved with his other hand at the bath. "Then feel free to lead the way." Draco looked relieved. "Merlin! Then I want you even more!" Sliding the robe off, he followed her into the water, her non-shyness bringing him even more interest. 18 Oct 15, 09:17 PM Giana: No one had ever touched Gia the way he was touching her. She inhaled sharply as he did so, slightly disappointed when he gestured toward the bath. Moving in that direction, she went in carefully. She flushed dark pink when he took off the robe, and her main focus was on his eyes, though she couldn't resist the urge to look over him very briefly, the first time she'd ever seen a man naked before. She grinned, though, in spite of her shyness, though the stutter had returned a bit. "I l-like w-warmer colors" she informed him. "G-golds and such" She looked frustrated by the sound of her own voice at that moment. 18 Oct 15, 09:20 PM [×] Draco: He saw her flush and sepped in slowly so her eyes would have to look at the most prominent part of him at the moment before he slipped up to her, pulling her into his embrace. Tonguing her nip, he gave her a new sort of attention for a minute before coming up to kiss her, soundly. "I like your warmer color too," he said as he moved his hand down her form, slowly towards her legs. 18 Oct 15, 09:23 PM Giana: She did watch him, fascinated, and though she wanted to look away, she found it difficult. "Draco!" she mumbled, half-aroused and half-embarrassed. Other parts of her were beginning to flush pink now as new sensations made it even more difficult to be cross with him. Her gaze as she met his eyes was a terrible attempt at scolding. "I did actually need a bath you know" she told him, even as the feel his his hands on her bare skin began to take over more and more of her focus. 18 Oct 15, 09:27 PM Draco: He sucked a bit at the end and then slipped a hand between her thighs. "After, I think, we do some exploring. You do want to sleep tonight, right?" he breathed on her ear "Eventually?" A smile as he felt her reactions changing and knew this was not going to be the only time this evening he entertained and educated her. 18 Oct 15, 09:32 PM Giana: There was a wicked sort of look to him as he asked the question, and it elicited an immediate and surprisingly strong response from her. "A-all right" she answered, and then she was running her own hands down over his chest, enjoying the feel of his muscles under her fingertips, and the realization that, while she had definitely not been the first to touch him this way, she would, if all went according to plan, be the last. "Eventually" she repeated, distracted by the feel of him, at least until his hands found a part of her that had never been touched by anyone, and she made an embarrassed sound, blushing in embarrassment after she did so. "Sorry" she mumbled. It was hard not to think of all the girls he'd been with, and the fact that all of them probably had more experience than she did. 18 Oct 15, 09:35 PM Draco: Strking her softly and slowly, Draco slipped up beside her (parts of him showing above the water) saying "Don't be sorry, Giana, I should be the only one to ever see you like this and I treasure your innocense." He kissed her again, longer and with more passion this time, thinking ahead to how she was going to react when she felt him for the first time. It added exceitment to the moment which was growing fast 18 Oct 15, 09:40 PM Giana: Still embarrassed, she nodded nonetheless. Then, as he kissed her, it was easier to focus on the sensations again and less on the thoughts of what was behind it. It was hard to think of anything really when Draco was touching her except how incredible in felt to have his undivided attention for herself. Her hands, which had moved down over his chest and stomach during the kiss, had paused, resting on his hip. Part of her wanted to continue the exploration, but the majority had no idea how to go about it, and even less desire to be embarrassed over the attempt. 18 Oct 15, 09:43 PM [×] Draco: She relaxed a bit more as he distractd her and rubbing her steadily more and more he knew helped even during the kiss. Feeling her stop, his other hand came down and took hers by the back of her wrist and moved her to a part of him sticking up out of the water, sliding her down his length as he kissed her neck, giving her a chance to look at what she was doing 18 Oct 15, 09:49 PM Giana: Giana was amazed at what was happening as she felt him for the first time, simultaneously soft and hard under her touch. The thought that she had caused him to react this way, that this was happening between them, caused a rush of welcome adrenaline that gave her a bit of extra courage. She stroked him, and as he moved to kiss her throat, her eyes traveled down the length of his body to admire those parts of him which she had never thought she would see, let alone touch. His attentions had caused a warmth to travel downward and settle between her thighs, and she squirmed a bit as a sort of anticipation had begun to build slowly. She knew enough from talking to her sister to understand what was happening, but she was still a bit disbelieving that it was happening to her. She had no words for what was happening, and wasn't sure she could have spoken them if she did. Instead, she drew him back to her lips, still stroking him with the enthusiasm of one who wanted very much to please and to 18 Oct 15, 09:50 PM Giana: express her own pleasure as well. She kissed him deeply and with a deep sort of longing for things she didn't understand. 18 Oct 15, 09:53 PM [×] Draco: Feeling her build up he moved a bit faster, continuing the attention to her as he kissed back before he moved his hand to push one of her legs more open and then moved a leg in between hers slowly, tonguing her as she stroked him easily now. "Ready?" he murmured to her as he broke the kiss just long enough to move himself to the same level even as she kept stroking him. "This next part starts a bit sharp, but gets much better. trust me, it gets better as we continue." He kissed her briefly, with no less emotion then before, but when she let him know, he proceeded to show her what being an adult really meant. Without being aware it sounded like a command he told her as he started forward "Relax Giana, that will make it easier." He knew about the types of rings used in services, but he was not aware which type these were, whether control, empathy, or desire rings. Any of the three didn't bother him as they were all ways of controlling a new couples' beginnings, but he assumed he would find out eventually. 19 Oct 15, 06:43 AM Giana: When she realized what he intended to do she felt a rush of alarm go through her, but instead of telling him that, she nodded. "Y-yes" She had never, in her memory, been less ready for anything in her life, but she didn't want to disappoint him. His next words didn't surprise her, she knew the basics of sex, and she nodded, but didn't speak, not trusting her voice. At the command, she felt the magic stem from her ring and the compulsion to do as he said that didn't feel like her own. Her eyes widened until they dominated her face. "Obedience magic" she mumbled in a soft, half-shocked voice. She had understood the rings held some time of old magic, but this. Merlin...d@mn it 19 Oct 15, 02:30 PM [×] Draco: He felt the change in her even as she said it and he looked at her, a slight frown there. "What?" It was a most inopportune time to stop really, right on the edge of culmination, but he did. "Obedience what? Oh wait, is that from the ring?" His face cleared of confusion. "Yes, that's pretty common with those. I wasn't sure if they were those or the old desire rings they used to use to force couples to fall for each other faster." Then he realized what he had said. "Ah, I understand! I did tell you to relax. Well, that's a good one because if you tense up this will be far harder." He kissed her and looked her right in the eyes. "So relax and let me lead, Giana, this is my skill, remember?" 19 Oct 15, 03:02 PM Giana: He was so completely nonchalant about it that for a moment she considered splashing him in a fit of childish frustration. But, his reaction made her fairly certain he hadn't had anything to do with the enchantments. Her body was also frantic with desire for him, and that made concentrating on her anger even more difficult. A deep, calming breath, and she nodded. Sex now, she could freak out about the ramifications of the rings tomorrow. 19 Oct 15, 03:06 PM Draco: Proceeding, Draco took it easy despite the fact he had told her to relax, knowing this was the moment for issues, but everything seemed to go smoothly. He watched the shock on her face as she realized the changes and gained knowledge as he went forward and felt her shifting to allow him more access. His smirk as she found the pleasure of it also boosted his ego of course as it always did 19 Oct 15, 03:10 PM Giana: It took no time at all for her to realize he had been right. She could not think of anything which had affected her this much ever. It was personal in a way nothing else could match, not even her experience with the tattoo. Pain had come, but briefly, replaced mere moments later by pleasure that made all of her concerns about the future seem suddenly unimportant. 19 Oct 15, 03:14 PM [×] Draco: As she got into it more, Draco picked up the pace, staying attentive to her reactions and trying to make sure she got the most out of it before he had to take care of his own needs. He was smart enough to know that if the woman was very pleased, repeat performances were often sooner. The fact the bath would smooth things out as far as after effects and cleaning up just worked to his advantage... 19 Oct 15, 03:22 PM Giana: As he began to move more quickly, it became impossible to think at al. Everything felt like an instinct, and when she finally came undone, every muscle in her body seemed to tighten at one before it all unraveled, leaving her panting and wide-eyed as she was finally able to open her eyes and read his desire for her. The realization sent a thrill through her as powerful sensations still rocked through her body. 19 Oct 15, 03:26 PM [×] Draco: Teaching her that he had the power to bring her to great points of pleasure was a thrill for him as well, personally. Feeling her go over the edge, gripping him a bit tighter, encoraged him to work on his own needs and he began to increase his own moves, shifting her legs up out of the way as he took over, taking full control over their movements as his hands gripped her. His face became more concentrated and intense. 19 Oct 15, 03:31 PM Giana: She felt the change in the way he moved, and the intensity of his expression was oddly arousing to her. The change in position meant he was creating all new sensations, and for a moment her eyes closed again reveling in them all. "Merlin, Draco...wow..." she murmered in a half moan. Something was swirling in the air around them, powerful enough that she sensed it somewhere in the part of her mind that wasn't entirely owned by him. 19 Oct 15, 03:38 PM [×] Draco: As the power built round them, His own pleasure began to get closer and Draco 's eyes began to shine a bit more. Under his breath he began speaking out a few faint words which would allow her to feel his own reaction. Going at it harder, he pulled her legs up with his arms bending over her more as he felt the building explosion coming faster 19 Oct 15, 04:06 PM Giana: She didn't hear him, but suddenly a rush of sensation overwhelmed her, stealing her breath and causing her fingers to grip his arms tightly. "Oh...my...Merlin! Draco" she ground out moaning his name as the last vestiges of her sanity were fully abandoned. 19 Oct 15, 06:39 PM [×] Draco: She gripped his arms which increased his desire to go faster and it was only moments after that that they both felt the same rush to explode and he flowed into her deep with a gasp as pleasure burst in his mind and hers combined through the magic! In a small eternity (which was really only half a minute) he felt his energy all whoosh up into her before he felt weakness suddenly rush in behind. Keeping himself from collapsing on her, he breathed heavy, her legs still over his arms and still planted deep inside her. After a few minutes his eyes opened and he looked over her, seeing the flush in her chest and admiring her sprawled form before he pulled out and in again saying "Welcome...to...being...a...woman...Giana..." 19 Oct 15, 07:13 PM Giana: Prior to this moment, Giana had been certain her body couldn't take any more sensation. Then, suddenly, the world was exploding and what little energy she had left was completely sapped. She looked up at him, starry eyed and flushed, with awe as though he were some sort of god. "Mmm'hmm" she mumbled, completely relaxed and unwilling to move, much less freak out about anything...ever again. 19 Oct 15, 07:16 PM Draco: After another minute, Draco Pulled away enough to lay beside her in the tub, putting his arm around her middle and pulling her over onto him. Laying out full length in a huge tub was actually nice, even nicer when you know you have succeeded at something big. 19 Oct 15, 07:21 PM Giana: He pulled her close, and she summoned enough energy to snuggle into him, enjoying the warm water as it soothed her, and the comfort of having someone close after everything that had happened tonight. What now? she wondered, but couldn't quite get up the urge to voice it. Instead, she mumbled, "I think I'll just sleep here" 19 Oct 15, 07:25 PM [×] Draco: A chuckle though much softer then normal and Draco said "About twenty minutes and it will be easier. Of course the water getting cooler will help too." His hand rested on her hip, stroking her slightly. "I told you it changes everything." 19 Oct 15, 07:30 PM Giana: She moaned, this time regretfully and began rousing herself. "Might as well get it over with then" she murmured. The sooner she was out and dry the sooner she could find her way to a bed...his...their bed she realized, and it was enough of a jolt to get her moving, albeit slowly. "It...does" she admitted. "What was that, the magic I felt....not the rings...after that." 19 Oct 15, 07:35 PM Draco: He watched her stir without helping much but her hesitation had him say "Hang on a second, I'll get a towel." He started to stand saying "A small spell that I learned last year, let you feel what I was experiencing ." As he stood he saw something at her hip and stopped looking closer. "Hang on, you have...Merlin!" He gaped, surprised for once 19 Oct 15, 07:37 PM Giana: She stopped, and then nodded. "That was...quite a small spell" she answered, and then, as she saw him focus on her hip, and heard him speak, she blushed, made to cover it, and then, feeling ridiculous, she moved her hand away so he could see. "A tattoo, yes" she answered, and the expression on his face made her smile. 19 Oct 15, 07:38 PM [×] Draco: A smile "I didn't say the effect was small." She tried to hide it before realizing the futlity. "How in the heck did you of all people end up with a tattoo? And down here??" s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/fa/52/cc/fa52ccb229c303b3319190699d08080a.jpg19 Oct 15, 07:43 PM Giana: She nodded as if to say "Fair point" Biting her lip, she met his eyes hesitantly. "I didn't want it anywhere most people would see" she answered. "I made sure the artist was female" The other question would be harder to answer without revealing details. "Nadya and I both got one at the end of the summer" she told him honestly. "She needed me" it was as simple as that really, at the heart of things. 19 Oct 15, 07:45 PM Draco: Ah ha so it was a secret? "Ah, so Nadya put you up to it? And you don't want to say why?" He raised a hand and a towel came to his hand without a word. Unfolding it he dried himself off while she answered and then wrapped it around his waist before summoning another for her. Drying her off from her neck, he began making his way down her showing he knew his way around a woman's body easily. 19 Oct 15, 07:48 PM Giana: "You could say that I guess" she agreed. A shake of her head, "I'd rather not yet" she told him softly. "Its something I'd like to talk to her about before I tell anyone. Our parents don't even know." She watched him dry himself off and then smiled when he did the same for her. Strangely, it felt much more adult than she might have expected. 19 Oct 15, 07:50 PM [×] Draco: A nod. "I understand. As long as you tell me before anyone else since I am your husband, no problem. Eventually if we're going to interact I'll need to know more about Nadya's situation you realize." When he finished drying her off, he picked his robe off the floor and put it around her before scooping her up in his arms and carrying her to the bedroom. "Across the threshold, right?" 19 Oct 15, 07:53 PM Giana: "If I tell you, you will be the only one I tell" she promised him. "Its Nadya's secret, and it could make things very difficult for her if it gets out." She sighed, "I know, I will see what I can do. I have no doubt she will visit when the elves bring my things tomorrow." When he wrapped her in his robe and scooped her up, she grinned shyly. "So much for pajamas" she teased him, and then giggled softly when he mentioned the threshold. "Don't you think we're doing this all a bit out of order?" 19 Oct 15, 07:55 PM Draco: He nodded. "WHo needs clothes in bed? I promise you, we're not done by a long shot and I still have to investigate all of you, my fiancee," he winked as he carried her in, holding her next to bed while he said "Pull the covers back, I'll slide you in." 19 Oct 15, 07:59 PM Giana: Her eyes widened as she silently wondered whether she would survive his idea of exploration with any energy at all left. "If I'm meant to get out of bed tomorrow" she pointed out, "you're going to have to let me sleep eventually." He winked at her and she smiled, but rolled her eyes at him in response. Doing as he asked, he slid her into his...their bed, and she reveled for a moment in how comfortable it was, and also in the strangeness of being naked in any bed, but especially in this one. She made a face as something seemed to occur to her. "This is...your room" she said slowly, "I'm in your room" She hesitated, "what I mean is...this is your space, and I'm sure you didn't expect to be sharing it tonight..." She let the sentence trail, unable to articulate further what she wanted him to understand. 19 Oct 15, 08:57 PM Draco: "Yes, but we have no reason to get up early and no one expects to see us before noon. And you are as they say a new secret to be discovered..." She did however make a connection and he nodded at her, tossing the discarded robe over the chair. "Truth, and I know I need to make changes, but we can discuss that over time. I like the way this is set up, but it is only set up for me so far. And for your information, Giana," he said slipping in the bed and sliding his hands across her naked form under the sheet, "I have never shared this bed with anyone before. You will be first and last in it." 19 Oct 15, 11:36 PM [×] Draco: His eyes turned sly a moment before he added "Except for children, of course. But once those are on the way we'd take a suite upstairs with more room and space for a nursery." He kissed her and pulled her to him closely, wanting to give her more time but to get used to both his hands and their skin warming up between them. "Do I dare ask how much stuff coming over is not books?"

20 Oct 15, 01:12 AM Giana: She smiled, "Incorrigible" she declared him, and then blushed lightly when he mentioned nurseries and children. "Sorry" she said softly, "Can't fathom that part just yet" she admitted. "Still trying to get my mind around...the last twelve hours." She narrowed her eyes at him playfully for the books comment, and then, for the first time, she thought about it. "I doubt they'll send over all of my books" she pointed out. "Most of the ones in that room I took you to were actually mine." She looked thoughtful for a long moment. "Besides those, and Notte of course..." She smiled a little self-deprecatingly "Not much, its true. Mostly pictures and such, sentimental things." 20 Oct 15, 01:19 AM [×] Draco: He ndded. "Especially the last three I think." Then he stumbled verbally. "Wait, most of them? Are you serious?" That number of books made him wince slightly imagining where they would go. "Will you be wanting them soon?" He hesitated. "Nottee? What or who is a Notte?" 20 Oct 15, 01:23 AM Giana: She laughed at the look on his face. "As I said, I might just have to go home and visit occasionally instead of bringing them with me" she repeated. "I always knew it would be difficult for a collection that size to come anywhere with me." She gave him a look, "so relax. Depending on how much of the Malfoy library I might have access to, I'm sure I could stay busy with that for at least a little while." She giggled at his question, "Notte is my familiar. A Russian Blue that I've had since I was eleven. It's actually Mezzanotte, but usually just Notte for short." 20 Oct 15, 01:28 AM [×] Draco: Imagining where they would go kept his mind occupied till she bugged him about relaxing. He came out of it with a laugh "Ha, all right. Time enough for that later. But if it's what you love the most, we will find a way. Especially if things go wrong for us there, we need to have all your things here." She mentioned the cat and he made a slightly impressed look. "I didn't know you had a cat. Is it an inside or outside one?" He would definitely have to be making some changes, possibly tomorrow. As a hand of his caressed her chest as if in afterthought, he said "I've never had a pet. I'm not sure I would know how to take care of them..." 20 Oct 15, 01:36 AM Giana: She smiled softly, "I do love books its true, but I'd hardly say I love them the most" she appreciated the gesture, however, and it showed in her face. "I love a lot of things you know." She grinned slyly at him. "Don't tell the other Ravenclaws I said this, but there is more to life than books I happen to know." A laugh, "I don't think he knows he's supposed to be one or the other. He has a tendency to come and go as he pleases, butshe always seems to be around when I'm looking for him" Gia shook her head "The woman at the menagerie said he was smarter even than most familiars she'd seen" Gia was thoughtful, "and I swear sometimes when I tell him things its like he understands me...." She laughed, "don't worry about it, he mostly takes care of himself really so long as he's fed and has a place to curl up." 20 Oct 15, 01:39 AM [×] Draco: He grinned. "That is surprising to hear from a Ravie indeed! But'll keep the secret." Interesting, the cat might be a danger on the grounds from the peapickles. "Well, we have peapickles here. I suspect if they see a cat they will go after them." A purse of his lips and he looked around the room for a moment. "We'd need a way for him to go and come without making it easy for something else to come in. Interesting thought." 20 Oct 15, 01:43 AM Giana: She wrinkled her nose at him. "You of all people were the last person I'd think to look too closely at house stereotypes" she teased him. Her eyes widened, and she laughed, she couldn't help it. "Peapickles? Seriously?" She giggled again,, tried to stop, and it made her laugh more, after a full minute she got herself under control and just stared at him, grinning. "I just...peapickles" she went quiet, smiling sheepishly at him. 20 Oct 15, 01:48 AM Draco: He rolled his eyes. "Traits are one thing, but that house spends more time around them then anyone else. It's usually a safe bet." A glance at her, slight frown of confusion. "Yes. Father got them years ago. White ones. They usually scare the sh!t out of people when they scream." Baffled, he raised an eyebrow at her for a minute. "Care to explain?" 20 Oct 15, 01:52 AM Giana: She had to concede the point. "Okay, fair" she acknowledged grudgingly. "But I don't care what you say, they don't all smell like book dust" she added, remembering his comment a few weeks before. Once she had gotten control of herself, she blushed, and her eyes left his, looking down at the blanket as she bit her lip. "I...um...think its safer if I don't" she informed him. She shook her head at the screaming comment. "I heard that once, it is....very disconcerting." 20 Oct 15, 01:57 AM Draco: He sniffed her again visibly and added wit a smile "And the one that don't smell very tasty." A frown at her as he wondered what had her laughing but she could not share. "I'm afraid you will hear them in the gardens. And my window looks over one of those too, but they are lower then the house so you don't hear them inside so much. I'll show you the outside tomorrow." 20 Oct 15, 02:00 AM Giana: She laughed, swatting at him. "You just like me because I smell like cookies" she accused. When he frowned, she sighed. "Okay, don't take this the wrong way but..." She hesitated, "if I had to pick an animal your father reminds me of, a peapickle would be really high on the list" she admitted softly. "And...maybe you sometimes too...before now" She looked up at him from under her lashes, trying her most charming smile. A slow nod as she thought about it. "All right" she agreed. "Be prepared though, I'm sure Nadya will have...many many questions." 20 Oct 15, 02:05 AM Draco: He smiiled. She was relaxing quite a lot, for someone who just had her first sexual experience within the last half hour. Being naked under a sheet in a new place was apprently not going to phase her much; good. "Maybe..." The frown didn't lighten yet. "Um...scary sounding and white haired? Irritating?" But then she included him and his face was clearly blank. "Uh." Then it clicked and his eyes flared a little, but banked fast enough. "You thought I was pretentious?" She spoke of her sister and he shrugged. "She's going tohave them anyway." 20 Oct 15, 02:10 AM Giana: She was definitely hiding her face now. Gia did not do conflict, though it tended to follow her around when her siblings were involved. "Mostly just scary" she agreed. "He...kind of terrifies me, and he does kind of have this...ruler of the universe aura about him." She flushed darkly, "Well um... m-maybe,a l-little...s-sort of...before I kn-knew you...y-yes" She didnt' answer the comment about her sister, more focused on his reaction to their previous conversation. 20 Oct 15, 02:16 AM Draco: Draco nearly snorted. "Well of course you do! He's powerf-- that's not what you meant though." he puzzled through it till it clicked and then her reaction to his question confirmed it. "Not...good looking? Stylish? High class?" He seemed at a loss ofr how to react; he had been teased about it before by his enemies, but he had always assumed that was jealousy and hatred for his advantages. She had no reason to, in fact less then anyone considering what he had just done with her and what she would be doing. "I--" he stopped, closed his mouth and frowned to himself. 20 Oct 15, 02:23 AM Giana: "S-sure" she was glancing at him very nervously as though he might react badly if she said the wrong word, and so she chose them carefully. "H-he is a-all of th-those things" she clarified, "b-but...th-there d-doesn't seem to b-be any..." she searched for the word. "H-humanity, w-warmth...he s-seems r-rather...c-cold." When the focus shifted to him, and she heard his voice, how utterly surprised and at a loss he seemed, a tenderness welled up in her born of a natural inclination to help and comfort. "D-draco" she murmured his name softly, and her eyes found his again. "I-it was my i-impression at a d-distance of y-your p-public face" she pointed out. "N-not really a f-fair l-look" She placed a hand on his chest, rolling onto her side to face him. Leaning up, she brushed her lips over his. "I-I'm s-sorry, sometimes I a-am...too h-honest for my own g-good." 20 Oct 15, 02:29 AM Draco: Absently he said "Because he saves it for his family and home. He lives in a world of sharp business deals, power hungry dark wizards, and death at every turn. If he does not stay cold he would be fed on fast." he glanced at her as she spoke, but his mind was having trouble with what he had just learned. he shook his head in agreement it wasn't fair, but no words slipped out yet. She kissed him and then he caught her and pushed her back on the pillows, stradling her in a moment, looking down into her face. "And what do you think now that you have seen me more then anyone else?" His eyes were intense, piercing. 20 Oct 15, 02:33 AM Giana: She nodded, "I...I g-get that" she answered, saying less and less as it became apparent she had offended him. Surprised when he pushed her backwards, she looked up into his intense gaze with wide eyes. The intensity she had so enjoyed a few minutes ago now frightened her, and she was suddenly very aware of her lack of clothing. "I...I....I..." and then she stopped, unable to get the words out, or to say anything at all. She merely stared up at him, waiting to see what he would do. 20 Oct 15, 02:39 AM [×] Draco: He saw the fear in her face and a part of him liked that even as the rest of him yelled about having ruined what had just been built up. Torn in his head he looked down at her face and said very quietly, but no less intently, "Giana. I never want you to hold anything back from me. I will not punish you for the truth. Now, answer my question," knowing the rings would compel that part out of her. But he had to know what the woman who was in his bed was thinking about him, had to or there would be worse things to come. 20 Oct 15, 02:43 AM Giana: The fact that he had phrased the statement as an order, and the compulsion of the ring did nothing to help the situation. Gia was already dangerously close to tears, overwhelmed by the night's events and her current situation to the point that all she wanted out of life at that moment was to go home to her books and her bed and forget the entire thing had ever happened. "I...b-before, I th-thought I h-had m-misjudged y-you" she answered very softly. "N-now I-I have n-mo i-idea." Feeling trapped, and humiliated, she closed her eyes hard against what she knew was coming. Gia had been through a lot in the last year or two, but nothing quite so overwhelming as all this. 20 Oct 15, 02:49 AM [×] Draco: The stuttering was enough of a sign now that he knew something of her nerves, but his face did not lighten till she spoke. Somewhat mixed in his feelings he said "You had. I told you I was trying to change things. But I just started. I can not make changes overnight, Giana." He slid off her to sit on the side of the bed looking into the room, head in his hands as he tried to think. Years. Years he thought there was one impression and instead there was another completely not what he wanted. 'F*CK!' his mind screamed inside his head, but that didn't help either. In her unknowing answer she had turned many things in Draco's mind upside down and now he didn't know what to do to even attempt fixing it. Now he would be trying to do so under the eyes of his father who had raised him to be hard and accept consequences and judgments on his own terms. What the hell was he to do now? Did this negate everything? 20 Oct 15, 02:55 AM Giana: Torn between her fear and his obvious anguish, she debated a moment, but compassion won out. Unsure how to go about things, she sat up, moving to sit beside him on the edge of the bed, she reached over after a long moment and placed her hand lightly on his, so that he could easily pull away if he wanted. 20 Oct 15, 02:59 AM Draco: Amazingly despite her scare she moved to be with him and Draco caught her hand and just held it. He didn't stop being lost inside his head, he just took it as it was meant, she was there. After nearly ten minutes, he looked up at the wall, stress in his face clearly, but still unknowing what to do. It was a bigger mess then he had first thought really. Squeezing her hand lightly he muttered roughly "I wasn't trying to scare you. I had to know." 20 Oct 15, 03:04 AM Giana: When he caught her hand, she exhaled, and rather than speak, she merely sat, shoulder to shoulder with him, brushing her thumb against his knuckles while they both sorted through their own thoughts. When he finally did speak, Giana was considerably calmer. She had not yet reconciled the Draco from the gala with the Draco from a few minutes before, but she was trying, and that was something. "I think" she said, as though he had only just asked his very heavy question. "That there is a greater distance between who you are and who you would like to be than either of us might have thought" she answered him sincerely, "but I think that is okay, because that means you're human, and...we can be that together." 20 Oct 15, 03:10 AM Draco: He didn't even snort; that answer was more obvious to her then to him really. "The problem is more who I have to do it around and in front of. Every where I go I am watched and judged." he glanced at her, a half a smirk barely anything as he added "Even here where I am totally exposed." He meant it as an attempt at dark humor, but he wasn't really thinking abut it. Flopping back over on hs back he let his arms fall above his head as he said "difference between the old and the modern. sh!t." and sighed in frustration. 20 Oct 15, 03:16 AM Giana: She fell back and onto her side, still conscious of her body, but more focused on him at the moment. Considering his words and his problem for a moment, she came to the nearly instant conclusion that nothing was going to be solved tonight. "Draco" she murmured softly, leaning up, she pressed a kiss to his throat, softly, the first time she had done so purely on her own. "You're right" she spoke gently, "Nothing changes over night" another kiss, lower, this time, near his shoulder. "And I for one have had enough changes on this particular night." She sighed, as she continued until she reached his shoulder. "And of everything, this was my favorite I think. So, for tonight, can we work on this one and save the rest for....later?" 20 Oct 15, 03:23 AM [×] Draco: Being used to being served, taken care of, the tactic she choose helped bring a certain amount of pleasure to him, even from the same situation he was currently agonizing over. By the time she had gotten in two or three kisses, he was paying more attention. She was right, however, in that he should be giving her physical distraction and not the choice about making decisions. However, there was one problem. "Fine. But since I doubt I should be the one in control at the moment," as if he had not scared her silly a few moments ago in that very situation, "I think you need to run things for the moment." 20 Oct 15, 09:13 AM Giana: She was pleased to have gotten through to him, for about thirty seconds. When he mentioned her running things, her eyes widened, and she looked at him as if he had just lost his mind. "Shouldn't someone know what they're doing before they try to run anything?" she pointed out. Though she acknowledged silently that he did have a point. She was also pleased to know her voice had mostly returned to normal. She studied him for a long moment. "Does any one person have to be in control?" she asked after a long moment. "Can't we just...see what happens?" 20 Oct 15, 09:13 AM Giana: She was putting an immense amount of trust in him considering what had just happened, and she hoped she wasn't making a mistake. 20 Oct 15, 04:22 PM [×] Draco: His eye looked at her from behind his hand for just a moment before he covered them up again. "Giana. You said yourself you are supposed to please me. That means you will need to learn how to do it, and you are a very intelligent woman. Experience is you trying things out. I'd stop you before you hurt me." He waited a minute before adding "And in this mood I'm likely to be more then a bit aggressive. You don't want that I think. Experiment, explore, learn."" 20 Oct 15, 07:36 PM Giana: She couldn't fault his logic, even if her anxiety had just returned to levels near what they had been during his ire. He mentioned aggression, and she nodded, "point taken, no I don't think that would be helpful...at all." She arched a brow, however, "Me? Hurt you?" She looked at him disbelievingly, but then took a deep breath. All right. Meeting his eyes for a brief moment, she kissed his throat again. This was starting to become familiar, and she felt fairly comfortable here. After a moment, she drifted lower, down over his collarbone and shoulder, as though she were familiarizing herself with him via her lips instead of her hands. After a moment to gather her nerve, she proceeded further down to this chest. There was a smattering of hair there that rather fascinated her. She had obviously never done anything like this before, and the more she viewed it as a learning experience, the easier it became. 20 Oct 15, 09:48 PM [×] Draco: Without looking at her he nodded. It hadn't occurred to her yet that anyone could be fragile? Well that was something at least. Draco had spent most of his life trying to build up a tough exterior to keep people at bay, but all people were after all flesh and blood; anyone could be hurt. He let her explore, his mind still more on his issues then his physical body at the moment... 21 Oct 15, 06:41 AM Giana: As she moved lower, she couldn't help marveling at him. A glance up at his expression told her he was still distracted. When she remembered how completely and utterly distracted by him she had been, it occurred to her that she still had a long way to go. She wanted his full attention, but was unsure how to go about it. She tried to think back to when Nadya had felt like over sharing about her experiences. What had worked for her? Gia had blocked out a good majority of those conversations, but one thing stood out. 'It always works' Nadya had told her with a wink, and though Giana couldn't have fathomed it at the time, she was seriously considering it now. After a brief moment of hesitation, she brushed her lips over the part of him that she had never imagined she would even see just a few short hours ago, waiting to see how he might respond. 21 Oct 15, 03:18 PM [×] Draco: If he had thought about it, he had assumed she would be tentative and hesitant about everything, but he wasn't really thinking about that so much. His whole life had to be re-altered somehow and carefully if he was to save himself as well as what he wanted to save. And just how the hell was he to manage such a thing? It was about then she tried an experiment which truly did surprise him. Draco looked down at her, an eyebrow raised at her position and actions. Was she a sub...? No, she had to be too nervous to have tried-- "Go on, you're doing fine." And he watched her now, curious how she had gotten bold enough to try that tactic. Then it hit him, she probably had heard something from her sister at least! Enlightened, but still surprised, he watched her finding the idea of her being that submissive rather exciting sounding... 6 Nov 15, 11:56 PM Giana: For a moment, judging by the expression on his face, which she was watching intently out of the corner of one eye, she thought she had done something wrong. However, when he spoke, she flushed. Encouraged, she lowered her eyes, finding it easier to focus on what she was doing if she wasn't watching him watching her. She tried to remember everything Nadya had ever said on this particular subject, a great deal of which had been while Giana was herding her very drunk sister back to the dungeons after one mishap or another. It took a beat, and a soft inhale, for her to decide what to do. After another moment, she ran her tongue over the length of him, and then slid him into her mouth. It was strange, she thought, but not unpleasant. He tasted...she had no words for it really. Nadya had told Giana about her first experience doing this with her then boyfriend, Marcos. The trick, she remembered hearing, was to find what worked. She raised her eyes to his again, checking his expression for signs of displeasure. 7 Nov 15, 12:08 AM [×] Draco: There was something about watching this, he knew from experience, that made it so much more plesant then one would expect, as if the voluntary action represented something much more so. He watched her give him cursory attention and then as he saw himself disapear he could feel himself swell in return! In fact one eyebrow went up as he wondered how in the heck she had learned what the correct method was or where to even start as in his experience it was usually the opposite. Not wanting her to hesitate however (and certain he wanted her to continue) he said softly "That feels good..." 7 Nov 15, 12:14 AM Giana: Strange how a few simple words of approval could matter so much. She wanted to please him, felt oddly guilty for causing whatever had happened to him a few moments before. She could fix it, she knew. She would figure out how, and judging by his voice and the reaction she could feel, she was making definite progress. Slowly at first, she began to move, covering as much as she could, searching for a stronger reaction, it wasn't entirely comfortable at points, but she could deal with that. 7 Nov 15, 12:21 AM [×] Draco: He let her go watching through slitted eyes and thinking about how this might influence this marriage. He had shown her his power to bring her pleasure, but she was doing this to please him more so. How could he use that, make it work for him? He reached out and tucker hair back over her ear, getting it out of his line of sight, but didn't react more. Yet. After all, she was taking him in, but he seriously doubted she could take him in entirely. 7 Nov 15, 12:25 AM Giana: She felt his touch, and for a moment was distracted by it from her intense focus on her goal here. Frustrated by his lack of a reaction, she moved faster, eyes closing as she tried to eliminate any more distractions. She focused on the feel of him, on the way he felt in her mouth, sliding against her tongue, the smell of him came through even more clearly now that she had closed her eyes, and she was more conscious of the sound of both his breathing and her own. It was almost an out of body experience, as though she were watching herself rather than actually doing this. She was consumed with the need to shatter his carefully held exterior. She needed to know there was something underneath besides his anger. 7 Nov 15, 12:32 AM [×] Draco: As she began to move faster, Draco could feel himself react though his experience in this was extensive. Seeing it happened helped to stir him faster then he might normally have gotten and his breathing did increase as she ran her tongue along him. Feeling very much 'served' also helped which led him to say "Smart girl. You learn fast, that's good." He let out air as he settled back more feeling himself fill her mouth and took pleasure at feeling big. 7 Nov 15, 12:37 AM Giana: Strangely, the longer she continued, the easier it got to get outside her own head. She focused less and less on her thoughts and more on her senses. His reactions, though smaller than she would have liked, were sill encouraging enough. She nearly missed his comment entirely, and was too caught up to react to it. She experimented with going deeper, noting that he seemed to like it. She didn't think she could take him in completely, but she tried as much as she good without becoming uncomfortable. He was so difficult to read in the best of circumstances, and it wasn't as though she was watching his face at the moment anyway. d@mn it, the girls in her dorm always made this sort of thing sound ridiculously easy, was she just bad at it? she wondered. Or did it take practice as most things did? 7 Nov 15, 12:43 AM [×] Draco: Eyes closed to slits, Draco let his head lay back softly, feeling more then watching now and feeling her try to go deeper. For the extra effort he added in a small "Ah" out loud for her to keep her going, but mostly he wondered whether he should take her all the way or take over and take charge at some point? She needed to learn how to please him for sure and the idea of her learning to swallow quickly without warning did tempt him. Which way might deliver her more into his best future? Or hers? He thought of her as secondary as his culture had taught him to of course, but her best future lay in his as well so there was logic to it. y the feel of her mouth, she was nearly about to have hair in her nose; he waited to see what she would do... 7 Nov 15, 12:50 AM Giana: She would have found it ironic had she been thinking more clearly. She was so focused on her task that she hardly noticed his actual reactions by this point. As she pushed herself to take him in further, his hair tickled her nose, but it was negligible. She almost smiled, thinking of Nadya had complained about such things. Suddenly, she got an idea, wrapping her fingers around him at the base where she couldn't get to him otherwise, she began moving both hand and mouth in tandem, covering him completely. 7 Nov 15, 12:55 AM Draco: Not only did the hair not seem to bother her much, she moved her hands in and that was when he was caught off guard. As the sensations picked up he came more to a sitting position, with a "Ohhhhhhh..." and set a hand on either of her shoulders, eyes closed. As her speed increased around him he gasped softly and found himself getting close to losing control. 7 Nov 15, 12:58 AM Giana: 'Yes!' Her mind exulted, sh had done it! She could sense him building now, hear the change in his breathing and his tone. She knew what happened next, and though she was a bit nervous, she made her mind to see it through. Nadya had warned her to swallow it quickly so the taste wouldn't be an issue. Pleased, she moved faster, driven by a strong urge to feel him come apart for her. 7 Nov 15, 01:10 AM [×] Draco: As she got faster his face strained a bit as he leaned into her, both hands sliding to being behind her head. Suddenly he gasped and vibrated down his frame, sending a wave of magically influenced results into her mouth and several followed repeatedly. It wasn't till the seventh one that he stopped, his arms suddenly weak and released her head. 7 Nov 15, 01:12 AM Giana: She felt him shudder, filling her mouth, and she had been prepared for...but this wasn't...it was...sweet. She swallowed easily, wiping her mouth, she took a deep breath and smiled softly."Was that okay?" 7 Nov 15, 01:23 AM Draco: He nodded, eyes closed. "Very nice, good start I would say. Come here," and he pulle dher up beside him and began working her with his fingers to make sure she got off before he faded too much...

7 Nov 15, 01:29 AM Draco: He felt the paper land on the bed and stretched, having to leave one arm under her where her head was on his shoulde rpinning him slightly. A soft smile as he waved the elf away hearing the pop as she left and he shook his newest conquest softly saying "Gia, wake up lazybones. Here, it's breakfast time." Ducking his head down slightly he caught her sensitive spot with his lips and began half-playful, half-seriously working to get her used to his ability to have her whenever he wanted.... 7 Nov 15, 01:30 AM Giana: Her eyes opened slowly, and she stretched before stopping abruptly when his lips found her skin. "Oh! Mmm" she murmured, a soft yawn escaping as her eyes opened completely. Spotting the paper, her eyes widened. "W-who b-brought that?" 7 Nov 15, 01:42 AM Draco: Getting more interested himself, Draco worked on her till she shakily spoke and then he kissed her upper t!t before saying "Elf. Riga. Nothing to worry about." And ran his hands up her thighs as he kissed her other breast 7 Nov 15, 01:46 AM Giana: "Elf?" she sounded startled. An elf had been in here to see her naked and...with Draco and...naked? Her eyes widened, though she was distracted by him almost immediately. "Didn't you just say something about..." She inhaled sharply in reaction. "Breakfast?" Much as she enjoyed him, she didn't want his parents to get the same show his elf had unfortunately had. "Does she normally bring you the paper?" It seemed an odd sort of ritual. 7 Nov 15, 01:50 AM [×] Draco: Hearing her voice that she wasn't going to be easily persuaded back into sex, Draco made a face where she couldn't see under her clevage as he kissed the underside and said "Don't worry, you were covered. S'aright anyway, they never look up, she just tossed it up on the bed." Pulling himself up he kissed her lips this time before he answered. "Yes. Breakfast. In bed. What do you want?" A pause and he smiiled slyly. "I could start you off with an appetizer like last night..." Then he laughed and kissed her neck, ignoring the paper as he tasted her and enjoyed showing off. "Not always. Probably we made the paper after last night I suspect." 7 Nov 15, 01:55 AM Giana: She kissed him back easily, flushing at the mention of an appetizer. His mention of making the paper, however, got her full and undivided attention immediately. "What do you mean we made the..." But then she saw the headline, the page having obviously been flipped beforehand by the elf. She caught the words 'Malfoy heir' and sat straight up, going pale. Grabbing the paper, her eyes widened further. "Malfoy heir and bride to be make big splash at holiday charity gala" In front of her was a moving image of the two of them bursting into the ballroom, and her surprised face. She watched it replay for several seconds before she found his eyes. "This is all over Britain" she stated the obvious, which meant her family had seen it along with everyone else's. "We're on the /front page/ of the society column, Draco!" she said as if it was the most unbelievable thing that had ever happened in all her life. 7 Nov 15, 02:01 AM [×] Draco: Feeling her shift her attention from a rather delightful way to wake up to the paper, Draco propped himself on one elbow and watched her bemused. As she grabbed the paper he slid his arm around her waist at least, physically at least claiming her if not the way he would like. As she exclaimed over the headline he watched her flesh and spoke to her same time. "Yep, fourth time for me. Face it, darling, your life is just much more interesting with me! But don't worry about it, you're safe here and there won't be any more front pagers till you've popped I would imagine." And that wouldn't take long to get started he was sure. 7 Nov 15, 02:05 AM Giana: She caught a glimpse of him out of the corner of her eye and could tell he wasn't pleased with being interrupted. Still, as she studied the image in the paper, she frowned. Who was that girl? It looked nothing like her, but exactly like the kind of person who might end up with Draco Malfoy. Her mother's exact intention, Gia had no doubt. He spoke, and she lowered the page for a moment, listening. "I didn't even know there was a photographer there last night" she answered. "Nadya's going to...oh Merlin, she's coming this morning." Gia fell back into bed. "Can we tell her I'm sick?" She knew the moment her sister could get her alone, she would bombard Gia with questions, not all of which Giana had answers for, and fewer of which she wanted to give. The paper was laid to the side and she closed her eyes. "I'm just going to hide here all day I think." From Nadya, and wizarding Britain in general for that matter. 7 Nov 15, 02:14 AM [×] Draco: With his successful seduction of last night and her resistance crumbling, he had expected some sort of minor issues, but she seemed lost. "Oh? Well I think a lot of them hide the cameras these days somehow." As she fell back he caught her, his eyes drawn to her flesh's landing in his arms. "I think if you did your sister would think you were trying to hide you'd had sex. I think one look and she will know you have, you already have passed that threshold remarkably. Face her, get it over with. Don't you think your sister will protect your rep better then a reporter will?" He kissed her breast again and said to it "Merlin you look tasty!" Then back to her as he started nibbling again. "Face her and she becomes your speaking trumpet to the world. G fill her with the news you want spread and you can stay in bed with me rest of the day..."

23 Jan 16, 11:00 PM Giana: She woke early and rolled onto her side, watching his face as he slept. He looked younger somehow, softer. She smiled gently 23 Jan 16, 11:04 PM Draco: Draco slept on, enjoying a dream about Giana's heavy preganancy when he felt something change and woke, groggily. Looking up into sweetly swinging breasts brought a smile to his face even as he woke his hand grasping her waist to keep her from moving away 23 Jan 16, 11:09 PM Giana: When he held her to him, she laughed softly in the darkness. "I'm not going anywhere" she assured him, moving closer, she kissed his throat and brushed the curve of his neck with her nose. "I can't sleep" she admitted softly. 23 Jan 16, 11:11 PM [×] Draco: "Good." What a prize he had in her that she didn't realize yet. She kissed him, showing herself to be dedicated and spoke about sleep issues. His eyes opened. "I could wear you out. I bet you'd sleep after I was done..." 23 Jan 16, 11:00 PM 23 Jan 16, 11:21 PM Giana: She laughed, shaking her head at him. Once after the gala, twice this morning and once tonight, its a wonder I can still move" she, quipped. Biting her lip, she added, "I think I'm just having a little trouble adjusting. It will get better." She hoped 23 Jan 16, 11:21 PM Giana: anyway. 23 Jan 16, 11:25 PM Draco: His smile grew. "You're keeping up nicely. I'll get your endurance up soon enough." Caressing her thigh he said "If not that, what would you like to try? We have no plans for the next few days, we're supposed to be adjusting to each other..." 23 Jan 16, 11:40 PM Giana: He touched her and she sqiirmed a bit, but she couldn't resist running her own fingertips over his chest. It was clear she enjoyed both looking and touching, and she continued to do so as she thought about it. Suddenly, she smiled an oddly mischievous look. "I could always teach you to bake" she grinned up at him, fingers drifting lower over his stomach, teasing him without really meaning to do so. 23 Jan 16, 11:43 PM Draco: Considering it appropriate that any woman adre his body, he took the caresses as his just due, but the speech about baking made his eyes widen in a curious way. "Excuse me? You can't sleep so you offer to teach me kitchen work? That's a very different way to fall asleep..." 23 Jan 16, 11:57 PM Giana: "I don't mean /right/ now" she told him, her tone equal parts exasperated and amused. "You asked me what I wanted to do over the next few days. "Besides" she added, "baking isn't 'kitchen work' its fun." She glanced around, judging. "It can't be anything past 3 in the morning. No one in their right mind would do anything this early." 24 Jan 16, 12:02 AM Draco: He snorted at her reaction. "Ah, so we still need a way to help you feel sleepy then." A frown. "Servants work in the kitchen. And yet you describe it as fun?" He turned on his side, pushing her over onto her back as he kissed her suddenly without warning, deep and sudden. When he let up it was barely to back off and whisper "Usually only one reason people are awake at this hour." 24 Jan 16, 12:08 AM Giana: "And some people open bakeries because its what they love" she argued. "It depends on whether you do it because you have to, or because you can, because you're good at it." He changed tack again, single-minded as ever. When he kissed her, she kissed him back willingly enough, but when he pulled back she shook her head. She wasn't exactly sure how he would respond, but sex wasn't high on her list of priorities right now. "Draco" she spoke softly, but firmly enough to get his attention she hoped. "Not tonight all right?" She bit her lip, a bit of the old shyness creeping back. "I'm very tired physically I just...I have a lot on my mind I guess." Her eyes implored him to be understanding. "Go back to sleep, I'll get there eventually." 24 Jan 16, 12:17 AM Draco: He shook his head. "I'm fairly sure people open bakeries to make money People who turn what they love into their job often stop loving what it was I think." Disapointing, she had woken him up and he wasn't getting anything for it. A frown. "Fine, but you need to be in my arms while I drift off then. I want you to get used to being very up close and personal with me in these next few days."." 24 Jan 16, 12:21 AM Giana: She could sense he wasn't terribly happy about being denied, but he didn't push, and for that she was grateful. Without saying anything, she nodded rolling over to face away from him but situating herself firmly against his chest. She wasn't sure what to say exactly. She didn't think it was possible for two people to be any closer or more personal than they had been over the last couple of days. Yet still there was something...lacking. It nagged at her that she was marrying someone she didn't love and who didn't love her. It was not something she had ever imagined for herself. Still, times were difficult and it was good for both families. Giana had always understood the importance of doing what was best for her family, and had often sacrificed herself for it. She wondered if that was what made sleep illusive. 24 Jan 16, 12:25 AM [×] Draco: Sliding his hands around her middle he kissed the side of her neck, ending in a hug around her middle as he said "Thanks," as he settled in behind her. "If it helps any, with the sleep I mean, I was thinking we could go over some jewelry for you to wear for the service maybe. Does that work for you?" 24 Jan 16, 12:30 AM Giana: The closeness did help some, as did his trying to make things easier for her. She laid her arms over his at her waist, clasping his hands loosely. "Whatever you think I need to do. I"ve never been very..." she searched for a way to explain. "I like to look nice, but I'm a bigger fan of books and things." She settled some as the warmth of his body seeped into her again. "But yes" she was smiling softly, "It works for me" 24 Jan 16, 12:34 AM Draco: He chuckled softly in her ear. "Oh this is traditional stuff in the Malfoy family. Won't take long to explain it all out and all. And maybe you'll be happier to know I'll pay you in books for wearing it?" Another chuckle. "I susect I'll be buying a lot of books over the next decade..." 24 Jan 16, 12:36 AM Giana: The way he said it caught her attention, and she frowned. "Traditional how exactly?" She knew more about traditional family heirlooms both from personal experience and private study. The books comment made her smirk. "Undoubtedly" she agreed. 24 Jan 16, 12:39 AM [×] Draco: "Wedding stuff. Things a new bride is supposed to wear. Don't may families have things which are passed down from generation to generation? We've got a load of passed down things." 24 Jan 16, 12:43 AM Giana: She rolled over, searched his eyes, and despite not being able to read anything in them that would give her pause, her instincts still told her something was up. Years of reading between the lines with her siblings, she supposed. "What aren't you telling me" she repeated. "Truth for truth, remember?" 24 Jan 16, 12:47 AM Draco: She turne din his arms and gave him a look. "I'm not concealing anything, I told you I wanted to show it to you in advance of the wedding remember? It's just sort of all body jewlry so it's easier to show then explain. It's all right, you get to tack it off that night. Not like you have to wear it all the time we're married." 24 Jan 16, 12:49 AM Giana: Oddly more curious than irritated, she stared at him for a moment longer and then sighed softly again, laying her head on his chest, she closed her eyes and willed her thoughts to give her peace. "Good" she answered, "because the obedience magic on the ring is enough to get my head around for the rest of my life." It was her only point of contention thus far, and she almost wished it were his fault so she could be grouchy with him about it. 24 Jan 16, 12:53 AM [×] Draco: As she closed her eyes, he ran his hands from the middle of her back, down around her upper things then back up several times, willing her to relax and trust. "Yes well that's done in a lot of contracts so it's not a unique thing, but neither of us made those up or got a choice in them either." 24 Jan 16, 12:59 AM Giana: She opened one eye in order to roll it at him, though she doubted he could see in the darkness. "Those of us who weren't expecting a contract were understandably not expecting obedience rings either" she reminded him softly. Still, she pressed her forehead against his chest. "I was so afraid you might say something accidentally last night when you were so angry" she admitted in a small voice. It occurred to her then that this was what had plagued her most. That me might accidentally, or not so accidentally, say something out of anger that would do her actual harm. She knew he was trying to change, but she also knew that in order to have the mark on his arm he had to be capable of truly terrible things. It wasn't that she couldn't love him eventually, it was just that the idea of someone who could do those things having total control over her was a lot to swallow at once. 24 Jan 16, 09:44 AM [×] Draco: A nod. "It's mostly guys who are taught about contract details these days, it's true." She spoke about her fear and he frowned slightly, but kissed the top of her head adding "I might be flattering myself, but I am usually one of the best at staying focused. You might piss me off sometimes, but I know I have chosen you for my future. You being intact and healthy is a primary thing for me and I did promise to protect you and keep you from the big social stuff as much as I could. You are far more" he almost said valuable "important to me happy and whole then injured. I'm not going to use those to hurt you unless you hurt me greatly first. Understood Giana? We have agreements and I won't be forgetting what you have promised to do for me." 24 Jan 16, 02:06 PM Giana: She was at least somewhat comforted as he spoke. She mattered, and that was something at least. Kids, she remembered, and realized that the charm had not occurred to her at all. Her eyes widened. She might be pregnant even now. "Understood" she answered softly, still contemplating the possibility of children. "Did you happen to hear anything about a date for the wedding? " 24 Jan 16, 02:22 PM Draco: That seemed to have helped as she didn't show her worry as much in her face. "Nope, though I suspect it will be quite soon. Why? Someone you want there in particular?" He wasn't about to say it was hurried before she could find any way out, not that he imagine there would be since sh had signed. He just had to get her pregnant by the end of the wedding if he could. 24 Jan 16, 02:25 PM Giana: "No one my parents wouldn't already think to invite." She bit her lip. "I just realized I hadn't thought about the charm is all, and..." She stopped. She couldn't bring herself to say out loud she might be pregnant already. Besides, he would get the idea. 24 Jan 16, 02:28 PM Draco: He nodded, but heard her words and smiled slightly more. "Giana, it's only been a couple of days you know. And you signed for a baby in the first year. Why would you concern yourself with the charm in the first place?" 24 Jan 16, 02:30 PM Giana: "Because I dont want to walk down the aisle six months pregnant " she pointed out. At his 'two days' comment, she arched a brow. "Only takes once doesn't it?" 24 Jan 16, 02:33 PM [×] Draco: He rolled his eyes and let his hand slide around her hips, giving her a light squeeze. "I seriously doubt our parents have settled on anything as long as two months. You've got no worries there." She pointed out something he was rather hoping she knew little about. "If you only want a child and not because you enjoy it, sure. I'd rather enjoy what it means to be married..." 24 Jan 16, 02:42 PM Giana: She yawned softly. It was often hard to discern what his mind was doing, even at the best of times. "Which is more than just sex isn't it? " she pointed out, hoping she wasn't pushing her luck 24 Jan 16, 02:44 PM Draco: He snorted. "You do remember how hormonal teenage boys are, right? I'm sure with all the...*ahem* activity your sister has been up toshe's told you a lot about her company." He gave her a long disblieving look; if she thought being married wasn't going to involve a lot of sex she was very wrong. 24 Jan 16, 03:10 PM Giana: She almost laughed. "Far mor than I ever wanted to know " she agreed. Suddenly, she remembered something. ""She gave me permission to tell you." 24 Jan 16, 03:12 PM Draco: A nod of satisfaction. "Then yo know what your husband wants a lot of." A suspicious look. "Oh really?" 24 Jan 16, 03:15 PM Giana: " I have a clue" she smirked, but it faded. " I need your word this stays between us." 24 Jan 16, 03:17 PM [×] Draco: A satisfied nod again as he stroked her naked backside, but her more serious tone made him inwardly say a bad word. Why did women all look for ways to distract from-- "Oh? Alright, between us." 24 Jan 16, 03:29 PM Giana: She took a deep breath, deciding to be as up front as she could and get it over with. "She was raped" another breath. "Last summer, she met an older guy from Bulgaria, and..." she trailed off. "She's only told two people as far as I know" 24 Jan 16, 03:32 PM Draco: That was worth silenc for a minute. While Draco understood it was a far bigger deal for a woman to deal with, it was hard to wrap his mind around. "...So, the secret to her behavior recently is because of that? Odd, most girls usually become more inward and withdrawn instead of what she has been doing, Giana..." 24 Jan 16, 03:39 PM Giana: "She..." Gia wasnt sure how to explain. "I thinkshe sees at some sort of victory over what happened, like if she keeps doing what she's doing it proves she isn't afraid." She shrugged helplessly. "And her drinking complicates everything. " 24 Jan 16, 03:43 PM [×] Draco: He was silent, thinking about it. So her sister had managed to convince herself that overcoming men put her in power somehow and acting like a lush slash slut made things better. The mind set behind that had better not be inheritable, he thought as he looked at her sister whose was going to be bearing his children soon. "That's...a tricky way to think. What does that make her think about your sudden engagement?" 24 Jan 16, 04:27 PM Giana: "Honestly I think the drinking is affecting her judgment, she's not doing herself any good the way she's acting. It seems like she's making it worse." Her eyes widened. "Please don't tell anyone I said that." She looked surprised at herself for revealing so much. His question though, made her sigh. "At first she thought you had impreio'd me or something" she finally answered. "I'm not usually one to draw attention to myself and so the last couple of days have been...very out of character." Another breath, "when I finally convinced her there was nothing wrong, she wanted to know how I did it, to which I honestly told her I have no idea." 24 Jan 16, 04:32 PM [×] Draco: "Drinking in excess will always mess with a person's judgement," he said half in thought. A look of 'don't-be-stupid' at her as he said "We're a team now, Giana, we keep each other's secrets automatically." That went both ways of course. A soft chuckle as sh mentioned being asked how she had done it. "So she assumes I couldn't convince you on my own then? That I'm not a worthy husband or something? Nice! Seems like that means she questions your judgement as well in a way." Inwardly he hid his anger. 24 Jan 16, 04:35 PM Giana: Despite his efforts, she could tell he wasn't happy. "Nothing like that" she was quick to reassure him. "She can't figure out why the most eligible guy in the whole school, her words, would set his sights on someone like me" she corrected. "She tends to think guys prefer girls who have experience." Her tone told him what she thought of that notion. 24 Jan 16, 04:42 PM [×] Draco: He frowned. "So instead she doesn't see the value of intelligence or in reasoned discussion like we had? Several times over? Or maybe she is confused currently because she is letting a drug do her thinking for her?" He harumphed then suddenly pulled her close to him, pulling her into his arms as he said to her softly "I chose you because I see more in you then others at school, more potential and more intelligence to comprehend what I am up against in the future. You represent great promise for the next generation, Giana, and while I can not choose because of love, you have an innocence I like and you don't seem to see your own potential." Much better then telling her she would breed great children of course. "Your sister would never have made it on my list after her recent antics." 24 Jan 16, 04:55 PM Giana: Gia nearly snorted. "Nadya's never been particularly big on conversation, even before last summer she was....she's an action sort of person" It was the best way of putting it. "Also that probably" she admitted. When Draco pulled her close, her eyes flew to his. "You chose me for my brain" she said softly, "because you want your children to have every genetic advantage there is" she said it slowly in realization. She felt no anger really, just an overwhelming sense of her own place in the world. He spoke of her potential, and of liking her, and she half smiled ruefully. "That's something I guess" she sounded resigned and a little sad. "I think maybe she knows that" she added after a long moment. "I think maybe she resents me a bit, which is terribly ironic really." She sighed, "let's get some sleep, Draco. I'm feeling exhausted all of the sudden." 24 Jan 16, 05:02 PM [×] Draco: She spoke and he half-shrugged. "Partly. You're very smart, Giana, is there a reason I can't hope that in what I have coming up I can't get you to help me think of others ways to do things better? If your sister resents it, then she should have worked harder on her mind. Action only gets one so far. I know that for a fact, unfortunately." She mentioned sleep and he said "All right, I hope you can." and he turned her back around, pulling her against him despite the fact he was rather stiff behind her as taking control always would make him. He cupped one breast and left the other arm tucked around her middle on her hip. 24 Jan 16, 05:07 PM Giana: "No" she answered, "there isn't" Another sardonic half smile. "I'm usually very good at that." A sad look at the mention of her sister. "Nadya has always relied on her looks, and I think what happened to her made her think her looks are a liability, so now she has no idea what to do." It was merely a theory, but Gia suspected it. He forced her back, but gently, and she didn't resist his touch, though she wished he would let her hide her face. Since she couldn't turn away from him, she buried it in his chest under the guise of snuggling closer to him so she could hide her eyes. She had signed up for this, she reminded herself, literally. "Good night" she murmured, her tone even

24 Jan 16, 05:17 PM Giana: She sat, legs folded on the settee in the suite she sheared with Draco. Notte was curled up in the space behind her knees, purring as she stroked his ears absently. The greater part of her concentration was focused on "A History of Magical Ministers" by Bathilda Bagshot. She was currently focused on Ulick Gamp, Britain's first ever official MOM. Nasty man, she thought privately as she turned the page with a disgusted look on her face. 24 Jan 16, 05:19 PM Draco: Carrying a long flat black leather box by the handle, Draco reentered the suite with a serious face. This was going to get an interesting reaction, he knew.Walking through the first room into the second before the bathroom, he found her and set the case down on the table before leaning over the chair and kissing her neck. "All comfortable? Someone sounds content." encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS4Y2oJKhBBCqD4mcjTtCE205ChUtZWmw1p9SYTVwjgSsqYvw4UTDO99ZQV24 Jan 16, 05:24 PM Giana: She turned her head to look at him. Seeing the case, she placed a marker in the book and shrugged one shoulder, smiling softly. "Mostly, I have a fitting later and your mother seems to think all wedding activities require proper dress." She nodded in the direction of a pair of discarded stilettos not far away. "But I feel much better sans those." She eyed the case. "I have a good guess what's in there" she observed. 24 Jan 16, 05:26 PM Draco: Turning and clapping his hands he called for an elf, ordered tea for two and a snack, then turned back to her as the elf vanished with a crack. "Good. Mind if I sit with you for this?" He glanced at the shoes and made a face. "Except for stamping on someone's toes, I've never seen the point of those. And yes, I told you you were smart." He laughed softly. 24 Jan 16, 05:30 PM Giana: Shifting, she made room for him, placing the cat on the arm of the settee and crossing her legs. "Sure" A laugh as she nodded agreement. "They're not bad for dancing" she finally admitted. 24 Jan 16, 05:38 PM [×] Draco: Sitting beside her (a hand on her leg) he chuckled. "Maybe so, not having ever worn them I'll consider you the expert there." After a second he began. "I'm sure you know the Malfoy family is bound by marriage ties through most of the 26" referring to the pureblood elite, "and mostly political marriages I suspect. Someone designed this stuff to make sure there were no complications on the day of the wedding itself. So take it from me, every piece here is reported to do two things. One is an attitude adjustment in a way and the other is a beautifying charm of some kind." 24 Jan 16, 05:41 PM Giana: She nodded, nothing new about that. She had been studying the Malfoy family history since she had come into the house. It wasn't until he said the words 'attitude adjustment' that she stiffened. "What exactly do you mean 'attitude adjustment'?" she asked stiffly, ignoring the beautification part entirely. 24 Jan 16, 05:45 PM Draco: He heard her reaction and patted her leg again, softly but intimately. "I told you I was going to explain these beforehand, remember? I'm not trying to sneak anything up on you." He waited to see her reaction to that before he continued. "Traditionally the bride puts them on the night before the wedding and takes thm off the morning after the wedding. So a little over 24 hours, that's all you will be wearing them for. Now, the things I have been told they effect include boldness, cheerfulness, and memory in particular. Not controlling so much as adding to." 24 Jan 16, 05:49 PM Giana: She took a deep breath, tried to calm down, but he wasn't particularly helping matters with is explanation. "So they basically sail the Malfoy brides through the wedding and the wedding night" she surmised. He continued and she frowned, "Less boldness, more cheerfulness, more memory" she guessed. She felt sick, signing the bloody contract hadn't been enough, now they were going to put her in a bunch of sparkling personality control devices. She clenched the fingers of the hand furthest from Draco into a fist, but didn't say anything else. 24 Jan 16, 05:53 PM [×] Draco: A nod, though not a cold one as she might have expected. "Yes in a way. Each helps with the looks of the bride to make sure she gets the best impression possible and the best pictures." She spoke and he shook his head holding up one finger. "No. More boldness. Brides have a lot to deal with in guests on the day and no shrinking violets are what they aimed for. I sort of thought you would appreciate that the most." Seeing how she hated being the center of attention that part at least was a good thing! "The cheerfulness is certainly a big deal, but after all brides should enjoy the day anyway, right?" 24 Jan 16, 05:57 PM Giana: She laughed, "Trust me, by the time my mother is finished /I/ probably won't recognize myself." The way he explained it, the boldness made sense, and he was right, she didn't mind the concept. "But taking away someone's ability to choose how they feel on their wedding day of all things..." she sounded unhappy about it. Jitters, frustration, all of it was part of the experience right? Or, it was supposed to be. "But what's the difference really, between those things and just imperio'ing someone...besides the Azkaban sentence of course. Having never done much research into unforgivables, she really had very little idea. 24 Jan 16, 06:01 PM [×] Draco: He smiled at her comment and half-shrugged. "I got the impression this is about skin and muscles tones and other stuff like that. Again, not taking over, adding to the over all effect. I probably won't believe it's you either!" She spoke about her hesitations. "I understand. The aim I get, trying to remove the unpleasantness form the day and leave only the good parts, but again it doesn't take them all away, it merely adds to the happy parts from what I understand. Father explained some of it, mother the rest." A shake of his head. "Because the bride puts them on and they don't take over. Think of it like an enhancement rather then a replacement, does that help? Now the memory, that's the real bonus." 24 Jan 16, 06:07 PM Giana: That might not be such a bad thing, she thought. Her pale skin normally glowed in the dark in pictures. "I'll be the one in white" she quipped. "Sure, and keeping the brides in a good mood so they wouldn't run off before the wedding had nothing to do with it" she pointed out. "You had some truly nasty great great uncles" she informed him. That was true, his mother had worn them, and every other Malfoy bride before her for what was probably centuries. "You get to remember it all I take it, for how long?" After a long moment, she broached the most dangerous of her questions. "What if I said no?" 24 Jan 16, 06:14 PM Draco: A roll of his own eyes at her as he reached for the case and set it on his knees. "Before the wedding, yeah. It's all about politics and making the right scene. I doubt most of the early brides got told anything about what it did however, remember? I'm trying to let you know in advance." 'I'm on your side here,' he didn't say. "Of course I did. Why do you think I'm wanting to make changes, Giana? Have you forgotten that was the turning point here, when I showed you what I was up against?" A motion at his arm was as close as he would reference what he meant. "No, the memory is to help you keep up with all the names and family connections. There will be hundreds of tie-ins and kids names to remember plus all the news each family has so you can have something safe to talk to them about right? Tons of stuff to remember." He frowned; there wasn't a male version of this stuff. At her other words he looked at her. "Then we'll have a big problem. There are some things the old families won't put let go of yet and maybe when my parents are gone we can get away from this sh!t, but it's like the ring you are wearing; we're still stuck with their controls, right?" 24 Jan 16, 06:18 PM Giana: She listened, really listened despite her irritation and she realized that it wasn't his fault she was in this situation. He had done his best to give her all the information he could, and she understood that refusing would make more than just her life difficult. The idea of having some help keeping up with families and such was welcome, even as the rest made her sigh. "How do I know it won't change something permanently?" she said after several moments of silence considering everything. "From what you've told me, you wouldn't even know." 24 Jan 16, 06:23 PM Draco: She sighed and he put a hand on her back, showing in a way he was there for her. "You can ask mother, since she wore it. Otherwise I am not sure. I'm open to suggestions." He opened the case so she could see it. Toe rings, anklets, garter supports, arm and leg bands, were all obviously going to be out of sight. The beautiful platinum emerald earrings and necklace were clearly to be out and visible. 24 Jan 16, 06:28 PM Giana: It was strange how quickly his touch had become comforting. Then again, he was the only person who really touched her these days. Save for her mother who came to help with wedding planning. Nadya hadn't been back since that first day in the gardens. "Wow..." she murmured. She studied the earrings and giggled. "Slytherin colors..." she shook her head. "Of course" she murmured. " I guess I can't talk too much. I usually wear sapphires." Nothing in this case looked terribly intimidating, "The weight of all of this alone will probably be enough to keep anyone from running much of anywhere" she observed. 24 Jan 16, 06:31 PM Draco: He shrugged fully this time. "I know, can't say on some things we don't stay consistent." He reached up and touched her face softly, kissing her for a moment. "You can continue to wear them, Giana, just on that day wear soemthing to keep the old people happy." And then a real laugh. "I'll be the one struggling when I carry you over the door frame!" 24 Jan 16, 06:38 PM Giana: She sighed. "Fine, but I don't promise not to go looking for something that might neutralize the cheering part" she warned him. " I have a few magical heirlooms of my own." She arched a brow at his threshold comment. "Isn't that only supposed to be the first time over?" 24 Jan 16, 06:43 PM [×] Draco: He c)cked his head at her and said with some impression "If anyone can think of a way I suspect you could." He slipped his hand down around her waist pulling her closer, but not disturbing the cat. "I always heard it was after the wedding and I've also heard it is done on stairs as well. It's not that hard, I think you are light enough as it is." In five months maybe not, but right now she was light as a bird. 24 Jan 16, 06:48 PM Giana: She beamed at him, making it clear he had said exactly the right thing. Her eyes widened. "Seriously? I don't think mum and dad made it to the stairs honestly." She wrinkled her nose. They're very..." She shrugged, "they're worse than most teenagers I know, even still." 24 Jan 16, 06:51 PM Draco: There, and if Draco was feeling her out right, she was accepting him more as well. A nice surprise that it was working out so well. "Ha, well some of us guys don't ever fal out of the need for our wives. Personally." He hugged her closer and kissed her on the side of the face. "Probably because you can be so irresistible you know?" Oh he had to keep pushing her on the regular sex for sure... 24 Jan 16, 06:54 PM Giana: She shrugged, "I always assumed that was normal in...well, non-arranged marriages anyway." Didn't all married people who were in love behave that way? He kissed her and she smiled. "You're just saying that because you're relieved I didn't hex you over the jewelry" she accused, still smiling. 24 Jan 16, 06:57 PM [×] Draco: One hand closed the case and let it slide onto the settee beside them. "Lust or love the human body loves being made to feel good." She teased and he grinned before kissing her again. "I must admit not being hexed is a good feeling." His hand caressed her neck as he added "But you really are beautiful, Giana, and not just because of how you look but who you are. And I like that more every day..." And he kissed her full on the lips to prove how much he desired her. 24 Jan 16, 07:08 PM Giana: She nodded, "So I'm beginning to realize" she agreed. She giggled softly and kissed him back when his lips found hers. "And you are charming as ever" she brushed her fingers through the hair at his temples. "That's good, because it seems like we're going to have a lot of days." She let him have control as he kissed her again. One hand still in his hair and the other braced on his arm. 24 Jan 16, 09:29 PM [×] Draco: The giggle was a cue to Draco she was going along with it and he kissed her with that emotional desire in him. Breaking briefly he added "Charming is good," and felt her fingers in his hair. "I don't mind a lot of days or nights with you by my side, temptress," he teased her before kissing her again. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the cat arch it's back stretching, preparing to move away from the humans. 'Smart cat,' he thought as he kissed her, pushing himself more against her before tracing her jaw line with his lips to her neck and down, one hand coming to touch one of her bared legs just below the hem of her skirt. 25 Jan 16, 10:35 PM Giana: When he broke away and spoke, she caught her breath and answered, "mostly because it keeps you out of half the trouble you deserve to be in." She kissed him again, a rare initiation, and deeply, full of her own emotional turmoil. "Now that's a word I don't hear often, or ever for that matter" She giggled again. She fell back, hands on his shoulders but pulling him closer rather than pushing. His hands felt good wherever they brushed her skin, and she sighed. "I'm never going to finish a book again" she observed, before her own lips found their way down his throat. 26 Jan 16, 08:36 AM [×] Draco: He spoke with a false mournful sound "Oh no, she has already learned how to keep me in line, what shall I ever do?" And winked. Sliding the hand on her leg up under her dress, feeling the muscles in her leg react to his grip he laughed. "Of course you will, when you have me worn out enough of course." His eyes closed half to slits as she made her way down his throat. She was a fast learner and he particularly liked that . 26 Jan 16, 09:40 PM Giana: "Not yet" came the wry response. "But I'm working on it." As his hands moved further up, hers moved lower over his chest even as her lips traced the line of jaw. "If you mess up this dress, you get to explain it to your mother" she warned him. 26 Jan 16, 10:21 PM Draco: He smirked inwardly at her thinking she was building up control on him whereas he had charmed and tricked her into this scenario to begin with. But her other comment brought him up short only for a second. "Not a problem since I plan on taking it off very shortly..." 26 Jan 16, 10:34 PM Giana: He spoke of removing the dress and she laughed, she couldn't help it. "Of course, because nudity solves everything" she teased him. A few short weeks ago she could never have imagined that sentence come out of her mouth, but here they were. Him, with his hands up her dress and his lips on her skin and her riding the tide, enjoying the feel of him underneath her hands and appreciating the thrill of the fact he was hers in a way she had never expected to. 26 Jan 16, 10:37 PM [×] Draco: He chuckled as he made his way down just inside the top of her dress across her shoulder. "It certainly makes things much more interesting." His hands pulled up some and the dress came up above her waist giving him farther access between her legs. "Besides, I think you want this as much as I do right now"

Her head was spinning with all the things her sister had brought up, including the things that might have been in the contract she signed. Had Gia been thinking clearly, she might have realized Nadya was merely jealous. As it stood, her thoughts threatened to overwhelm her. 8 Jun 16, 09:15 PM Draco: Draco came out and walked across to his mother's hedge then through the trick gap. Spotting the clearly distract Gia he walked over wondering what she was thinking of. "Giana?" he asked as he stopped next to her. 8 Jun 16, 09:27 PM Gia: She jumped, startled by the sound of his voice. "Oh, Draco" shecsaid softly. "You startled me." Though she glanced up at him briefly, her gaze soon returned to the garden itself 8 Jun 16, 09:29 PM Draco: "I assume your sister is gone. Did you have the talk you expected?" He hoped the girl was gone, he wanted Giana to think of herself as here now no where else so she would accept more faster. 8 Jun 16, 09:32 PM Gia: "Yes, she's gone" Gia answered simply. Without turning, she nodded, "more or less." Standing she brushed at her dress, and when she looked at him her expression was neutral by sheer force of will. "What's next on the agenda?" 8 Jun 16, 09:36 PM Draco: She stood and he watched, amused that he could see how her form filled out her clothes so much clearer now. "Well depends. Are you staying out here or going inside? Now that your things have been delivered we could try to find where to put them all and you can tell me if a suite will work for your books for the moment or do you need shelves right away?" 8 Jun 16, 10:01 PM Gia: "I'm sure the suit will be fine for now." She glanced at the house. Maybe a project would help her calm down. "Sure, we can get to work. Thre's not too much of everything else. I don't have half as much in my closet as Nadya does" she assured him. 8 Jun 16, 10:03 PM Draco: As he motioned for her to lead the way he said "Certainly, I had them put it in the suite next to mine for now. Come on," and he caught her hand to lead her towards his bed--- Stopping himself in the hall in front of the door (though he would have honestly like to open the next door), "Is she the clothes horse? Or are you only into books." He knew she liked at least some things he had introduced her to 8 Jun 16, 10:11 PM Gia: He caught her hand, and though she didn't pull away, she did tense for a moment before she could stop herself. What was in that bloody contract? And why in Merlin's name hadn't she read it first? She nearly shuddered at the thought of some of the things Nadya had mentioned. Was Draco capable of things like that? She was afraid of the answer to that question. It took her a moment to draw herself from her thoughts. "You have no idea" she managed softly. "I am into many things" she corrected. "I just happen to have the most books." 8 Jun 16, 10:14 PM Draco: He smirked and added "Well you will need to tell me, darling, otherwise how will you ever enjoy them again if I don't know about them? I promise you, I plan on keeping you apprised on what I want most in life!" He ran a hand down her hip as he said that then chuckled and added, backing off slightly (to give her some space) "as it so happens, I got a copy of the contract like you wanted. I assumed you and your sister spoke about it," 8 Jun 16, 10:17 PM Gia: He brushed her hip and she tensed again, a bit harder than before, more reminiscent of her former self before all of this had happened, but she smiled in spite of her thoughts. "I think I have a good idea of what you'd like" she pointed out, but when he mentioned the contract and Nadya she frowned again. "You could say that. She had a lot of really creative ideas about what might have been in it" she said carefully in an attempt to keep her voice even. 8 Jun 16, 10:22 PM Draco: He smiled. "Oh good, glad we think about the same things then!" and he slipped his hand back around her waist drawing her closer. "Of course she did, there are a lot of stories out there about contracts. However let me remind you of one thing, sweet cheeks." he touched her cheek with his other hand then pulled out the paper from his pocket. "This was written at your parent's place so this is what they had written up, not us!" he handed it over and then said softer "as far as contracts go it's not very extreme. You don't even need to display the sheets after." 8 Jun 16, 10:25 PM Gia: She laughed then, and relaxed somewhat, but it wasn't until he reminded her that it was her mother who had summoned the contract that she took her first real breath in over an hour. "That's right!" she brightened considerably. "I had forgotten about that." Her parents would never have subjected her to anything dangerous or awful. She could literally feel the tension ebbing out of her shoulders. "She's jealous" Gia admitted softly. "Of me, because of you and the paper and...everything." Gia was hurt, but not terribly surprised. His mention of the sheets made her flush, though lightly. "Bit late for that anyway" she observed softly. 8 Jun 16, 10:29 PM Draco: He arched a brow. "Why, because I feel the need for smarter kids then most?" Although he was sure her sister would find someone appropriate, it occured to him he could angle that some. "Hmm, well as her new brother in law it behoves me to make sure she gets a good contract. Maybe you could help me find someone to nail her down with?" A nod and a chuckle. "They don't usually accept bathtubs anyway." He grinned. 8 Jun 16, 10:32 PM Gia: Though Gia had always hoped to marry someone who appreciated her mind, she had never thought to be in a situation where it was the deciding factor. She wasn't sure how she felt about the idea yet. "Because everyone assumed your parents would pick your wife, she's mad because she thinks I cheated somehow. She even asked if I was pregnant. " A shake of her head. "There probably won't be another contract. My family isn't really like that so much, it was more because it was...well...your family." She snorted softly. "I'm not even sure how that would work." 8 Jun 16, 10:36 PM Draco: As she took the paper from him he kissed her forehead. "Well in a way you did cheat. You played stubborn and didn't think I'd carry you out into the ball. You chose your own fate by challenging me." He chuckled and leaned down looking her in the eyes. "Right, our family. And as her brother I think I have a lot of influence suddenly don't you think?" He wasn't going to tell her he already had the sheets changed and there had been a little bit. Bathtub had been a good idea however. "Probably a spell for it. I don't care, our kids won't have to deal with that part." Which was good as she had promised to give him quite a brood. 8 Jun 16, 10:41 PM Gia: He kissed her forehead and she smiled with a bit more cheek than she had since the night of the ball when she'd begun processing everything. "You carried me in there, and I would bet you had a better idea of what might happen than I did" she pointed out. "So you chose as much as I did." She leaned up, kissed him softly and her eyes had calmed again. "Besides, you need to be challenged sometimes." She thought about it. "If she's not careful mom and dad may go for it just to keep her from being a danger to herself. I know someone's mentioned her behavior by now." She looked up, surprised. "You're not going to...but the contracts are...the Malfoys are almost famous for them." She wanted to be sure she understood him. 8 Jun 16, 10:47 PM Draco: His smile said it all. "Maybe. But I wouldn't have pushed you that far except that you dared me. Mynx." She spoke about challenging him and he paused, thinking that over. "Maybe. Well go on, read it I know you're anxious to know the truth." A second look and his eyes turned sly. "Is she...interested in anyone at this point?" A touch on the end of her nose and he slipped his other hand under her thigh, giving her a light squeeze. "Ah, but you've already promised me a large number in our agreement, darling, and only one of them will need to be a careful match. I bet we don't need to do any for the rest and if we raise the one right..." He left off that it might be possible to get by them all if she did what was needed. Might as remind her, of course. 8 Jun 16, 10:52 PM Gia: Her eyes took on a mischievous glint. "Do you always do everything you're dared to? Because that could be useful one day." He asked about Nadya and Gia hesitated. "She was mad over Marcos Jimenez last year, but he dumped her because..." Gia bit her lip, "Well the rumor is he broke up with her because she was too innocent for him." Which was almost laughable now. She considered what he was saying, and more what he wasn't saying. "I guess we'll see." He touched her thigh and she felt the reaction all the way up. "Draco Malfoy, did you or did you not say we needed to unpack my things?" She scolded playfully, "because it seems like that's the last thing you're interested in." 8 Jun 16, 10:57 PM Draco: He snorted. "Oh I think I need to ignore some just to screw up a pattern." He gave her a long look. "So what, she feel so hard for him she decided to become less Innocent? That's insane." She scolded him kinda and he laughed. "There's nothing which says that we can't do both, my dear, besides you now know just how to distract me when I come across secrets in there you've forgotten you don't want me to see..." he made a move towards the door-- 8 Jun 16, 11:00 PM Gia: She shook her head, "not exactly. They broke up just before the summer and then she met this guy on the beach. He invited her to some beach club and..." A shrug, "she claims she doesn't actually remember what happened, but I think she does" Gia took a deep breath. "It was only after that she started changing, the drinking and the boys...I think she's trying to forget the past any way she can. I tried to help her but..." She trailed off, shook her head resolutely. "Nevermind" A nod as he reached for the door. "Unpacking first, whatever's going on in your head after" she insisted stubbornly, still trying to shake the seriousness of the moment before. 8 Jun 16, 11:05 PM Draco: Ah ha, so that was it! "No name? Rather makes him hard to track back." He also determined to make some noise about getting her married off to and see if that might not wake her up. "Fine. There's closets here for the outfits and a dresser can be brought up since it won't all go in my room for now." He led her in and shut the door behind him. "I hope most of the books can stay packed for now?" There were a lot of boxes in one solid wall which told him she hadn't been kidding about the books.. 8 Jun 16, 11:12 PM Gia: She shook her head. "No name, Luca tried to do some digging to find out, but Nadya refuses to give him her memory from that night, and without it we don't even now what he looks like." She followed him into the room and glanced around critically, trying to imagine where everything ought to go. She giggled at the look on his face. "I did warn you, but yes, they can stay packed for now. I have a couple in my overnight bag that should keep me entertained for a day or two." 8 Jun 16, 11:18 PM Draco: A shake of his head. Well then unless you are willing to use magic on her, then no probably not. Shame." A nod. "Where's all the pet stuff? I get that they need a lot of stuff at least. I can at least move that over while you go through stuff." A day or two. Well now, he did want a smarter set of ids then his generation. Hopefully she wouldn't make him regret it in advance. 9 Jun 16, 07:33 AM Gia: Gia sighed, "I considered it, very briefly, but I though ultimately it would do more harm than good. She has to want to get past it, and based on how she behaves...." she shrugged helplessly. When he asked about the pet things she was grateful for the subject change. She pointed to a box marked 'Cat' undoubtedly by her mother who was not especially fond of pets as a rule. 9 Jun 16, 09:13 AM Draco: Well then it was he sister's issues after all, why did it still come up so much? If she won't let you fix it... Drao didn't say the words, but they were there. When she pointed out the box he waved a hand at it and it floated up and followed him out of the room. He took it next door to his own suite, making a face at te realization he was going to have to get used to a cat around. He wasn't especially fond of adjusting for another, even in this case. In the other room the box sat on a table and he opened it, spreading things out across the small suite in a few minutes. Working fast he then took out a letter, wrote on it for a few minutes, then sent for his houseelf and sent it off. He returned to see how far she had gotten in that short time... 9 Jun 16, 04:14 PM Gia: After he had left, Gia focused on the task at hand. Since she was highly organized by nature, it didn't take her long to figure out where everything would go, but getting it all there the muggle way was another matter. She had finished putting her clothes and shoes away and was busily studying the family photos she had just arranged on a dresser when she heard him re-enter the room. How strange that she could already feel his presence in a room. Then again, it was quite a presence. She took a step back again, eyeing the photos critically, and then picked up a picture of Luca and herself from her first year. They had all been so happy then, so unaware of what was going on around them, or what would come later. 9 Jun 16, 09:27 PM Draco: He saw the pictures first thing. "The pictures you can bring over. I just think there won't be enough space for all the clothes and books. I'm willing to put some things of mine aside if you need more. Once I graduate we'll be moving into a larger set of suites so this would be just for now." It was going to take time to get used to this he could tell. i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/SchoolOfRolePlay/Malfoy/exp/m_zpsc80b8484.jpgi482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/SchoolOfRolePlay/Malfoy/exp/o_zps8eef158e.jpgi482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/SchoolOfRolePlay/Malfoy/exp/p_zps60b03cb6.jpgi482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/SchoolOfRolePlay/Malfoy/exp/n_zpsa879c26b.jpg9 Jun 16, 11:14 PM Gia: Her expression brightened at this news. For a moment she looked at him as though contemplating asking a question, but she seemed to think better of it. She also noticed he had said 'I' and not 'we'. Was he not planning to let her finish school? It seemed counterintuitive to his reasons for marrying her in the first place. "All right " She gathered them into her arms. "That's everything I think." She surveyed the room and smiled. "Except the books of course. " 10 Jun 16, 04:24 AM Draco: Missing her mental questioning of his future motives, he watched as she gathered them up and then headed for the door. "This way you have all of your things, just not in the same room yet. Once I am legally an adult, We'd move upstairs to the larger parts of the mansion." He led the way into his set of rooms, stepping aside for her to choose where in the rooms she wanted these ictures, Den or bedroom would make little difference to him. 10 Jun 16, 07:46 AM Gia: She wondered briefly if he intended for them to share a room full-time or just until she became pregnant. She knew that many of her pureblood friends' parents did not, especially those who had been arranged. He seemed like the type of person to prefer his own space, but while she was desperate in some ways to talk to him about some things, she was afraid of the places the conversation might lead given the last time they had tried to have a serious one. Glancing around the room for a place, she decided to put two of the pictures on the bedside table next to the side she had slept on the night before, the others on a small accent table which seemed to be mostly for decoration. For the first time. For the first time since she had arrived, she had the opportunity to survey the room properly. It was large and well-furnished, not unlike hers at home, but much darker and more masculine in taste, which she supposed made sense. Still, it felt a bit to her like the times she had stayed in a hotel suite when her family went on vacation. When she had finished studying the space she turned to him and smiled with maybe a touch of mischief. "I suppose I don't have to ask what happens now do I?" 10 Jun 16, 09:44 AM [×]Draco: She stood looking around and he wondered what she was thinking. "I assume the cat will be mostly in the bedroom? Or do you prefer outside in the living area?" She spoke and he stepped closer, catching her again around the waist. "Well since you put it that way I'd say our minds are getting easier and easier to read!" 10 Jun 16, 10:17 AM Gia: She laughed, ""he will probably spend most of his time outside roaming if he is allowed. I left him in the garden when I went to talk to Nadya so he could get some exercise." He caught her at the waist and she bit her lip. Things felt a bit different in the light of day than they had the night of her arrival. In retrospect, she wasn't exactly sure what had led her to sex with him so easily. An idea occurred to her. "Draco" she murmered hesitantly. "The magic on the rings, what is it?" 10 Jun 16, 10:23 AM Draco: Draco smirked. "As long as he stays in that one, he will be fine. I'm sure father's peac0cks will teach hi to stay out of the others quick enough should he appear there." His hand slid up her leg pulling the bottom hem of her dress along as he kissed her neck, his interest plain. At her question he said "Silly one, I did give you the contract. You could check me at any time. From what I remember they are emotion rings, tying us together on another level then most in an early marriage. I guess your parents liked that sort of magic more then the other kinds." 10 Jun 16, 10:30 AM Gia: His hand moving up her leg was second only to his lips in order of things which were distracting her line of thought. Eyes closed, she sighed softly in pleasure even as she tried to focus on his words. "Emotion" she repeated, though her tone was distracted, "like we can feel what the other is..." She broke off and flushed. That could get embarrassing. Could he feel what she was feeling now? More importantly, was she feeling his emotions? Was that why things had gone so smoothly the night before? At least to start with, she thought wryly. 10 Jun 16, 10:39 AM Draco: Actually that was at best a misinterpretation, but the rings had never been carefully documented in bridal contracts anyway. Draco was unaware of how they completely worked. "Yes, and right now you should be feeling a lot from me I'd think..." Painfully obvious to any young woman it would be. As his hand stoped it's upward acent having reached it's goal, he kissed her cheek. His phermones were very much on full desire. "Like at this moment I am thinking about how nice it would be for yu to have none of those clothes in my way, naturally." 10 Jun 16, 10:48 AM Gia: Gia tried to focus enough to distinguish between his feelings and hers, but all she felt was an overwhelming desire to give him exactly what he wanted. She wanted it too, or she was pretty sure she did. By that point it was impossible to tell. "All right" she breathed, turning her back to him and moving her hair over one shoulder to reveal the zipper. "I think that can be arranged." Nervous energy made it difficult to keep her voice steady, but it was an admirable effort. 10 Jun 16, 10:56 AM [×]Draco: In triumph he unzipped her, picking her up in the act of shedding the dress on the floor as he moved them both to the bed. An hour passed before either could think of anything but pure satisfaction and exhaustion, but it was an hour well spent in bonding deeply. When he came to himself again, he lay full body out upon her, one elbow giving her breathing space as they both breathed deeply, him with full on satisfaction in her. "Moments like this, Giana, make me quite proud of the way you challenged me that night. I don't think I've ever wanted children more then right now. Temptress." 10 Jun 16, 11:04 AM Gia: She was still coming down, focused on the sounds of their respective breathing when he spoke, causing her to open her eyes in an attempt to focus on his face. Children. A hazy image of fair-skinned blue-eyed children chasing each other through the garden made her smile. "Don't you think you ought to get used to the cat first?" she teased him softly. 10 Jun 16, 11:09 AM Draco: He grinned at her quip, and moved his hips forward as he said "Actually I think I'm going all in from the start." A kiss on the base of her throat before he added "Besides, by the time they can walk I suspect the cat will have already walked over me." 10 Jun 16, 11:17 AM Gia: She was struck by the way his face changed when he smiled, really smiled. Reaching up, she brushed the hair out of his eyes and smiled back. "You should smile more" she observed, her voice gentle and her expression soft. She was beginning to discover that this kind of satisfaction brought out a tenderness toward him she didn't fully understand. "I should have known you would be an all or nothing kind of person " she murmured. His comment about the cat made her giggle. "Most likely." 10 Jun 16, 11:21 AM [×]Draco: He shrugged, having heard that one before. "Maybe I haven't had a lot of reasons to smile before." he let her touch his hair, something he didn't allow most people but he knew she meant it well. "Hey, I do a lot of planning too, but I think this doesn't feel like a time for writing up plans." He slipped off her and onto his side, feeling like he had more then fulfilled his domination for the day as a man. Feeling very good, he teased her nose adding "And you look quite contented yourself right now." 10 Jun 16, 11:34 AM Gia: She watched him as he shifted away, and noticed that she missed the feel of him. Was that normal? She smiled a bit more hesitantly than before. "I feel amazing" she admitted very softly, almost as though she were confessing something. Not wanting to ruin the moment, but fairly sure this was her best chance at catching him in a good mood, she bit her lip. "Draco, what is the plan? For us I mean? Assuming I'm supposed to get pregnant as soon as possible, does that mean I'm not going back to school?" Her mother had gotten pregnant with Luca at sixteen, but her father's family had hired tutors to help her finish her education. 10 Jun 16, 11:38 AM Draco: He slid a hand around her waist possessively, feeling like man-handaling her, but not wanting to make her tense. "Well by the contract you need to have kids soon. Until they have come I will get tutors in so you can stay ahead of course. Once they are here, if you want I can get a house in the village and you can come there between classes or before and after so you can do school if you think that's neccessasry. I'll leave that up to you once the child is here though. Don't want to jump the wand or anything." And she would be his only until then; after he had come to understand he wouldn't be so much the center of her world. Somehow that seemed a little unfair. 10 Jun 16, 11:46 AM Gia: She exhaled and nodded. "I will make it work" and there was an underlying thread of the determination she was capable of in her voice. "We will not see each other as much, will we?" Strangely, this unnerved her. He was her husband, or would be very soon. Gia had been raised by two parents very much in love, and even though her logical mind knew it was unrealistic, she still aspired to a life like that. 10 Jun 16, 11:49 AM Draco: He heard determination in her voice and decided he had chosen well. She could be directed where to put that determination he was sure with careful handaling. "Excuse me? Oh you are seriously mistaken. I will be back in school, mind you, but who said I won't be sleeping in a bed with you?" And taking what he had earned for sure, not just making every guy in school jealous of what a Malfoy could arrange... 10 Jun 16, 01:27 PM Gia: Now she was confused. "But how? Students are required to live in the castle aren't they?" She knew the Malfoy reputation of course as all girls of pure families did, but were they really so powerful? 10 Jun 16, 07:25 PM [×]Draco: His smile widened at the same time as his arm tightened bringing her up against him much in the way of a protective suitor might. "Malfoys can do anything, but it will be far easier when I explain to the board of directors that since they won't want my pregnant wife displayed in front of other students, giving them ideas. And since my father is on that board it will give him an excuse for bringing up the rest of the idea." He smiled in anticipation of the new privilege, something she should have expected. 10 Jun 16, 07:51 PM Gia: Her suspicions confirmed, Gia's eyes widened. A house in the village, somewhere she could feel at home, still spend time with Draco, and even see her siblings. She wouldn't have to go through her pregnancy alone. Leaning up, she kissed him soundly, and when she pulled back she was glowing with relief and hopefulness. "That will be perfect" she beamed. "Imagine all the studying and...maybe a garden?" She hesitated, but then shrugged, "I suppose we'll have to see what's available. " 10 Jun 16, 08:15 PM Draco: He enjoyed being ewarded as much as any guy does. "I don't know how many of the places there do but we'll see." An odd tilt to his head as he looked at her, curious. "Why does that make such a difference to you?" 11 Jun 16, 01:29 AM Gia: She considered his question for a moment before she answered. "I like knowing what to expect. So, I guess its partly that. Im impressed by how much you've thought everything through considering how suddenly it all happened and..." She bit her lip, "I was afraid I might be alone during the pregnancy since everyone except my mother will be at school." 11 Jun 16, 08:20 AM [×]Draco: He waved that off with a hand. "It seems logical enough, not so much planning, but I am used to hard and fast decisions as well as nasty ones. My aunt was particularly good at inflicting lessons." His eyes narrowed slightly as he continued, maybe as if suspecting a memory was approaching. "I've learned to make decisions fast and stick with them. It helps. And while my family would not want you along on some, eh, events, you will always be nearby one of us, usually me." 11 Jun 16, 08:44 AM Gia: She listened as he spoke, knowing automatically that he spoke of Bellatrix. She, like everyone else, had seen the pictures in the paper after the break out. The look in his aunt's eyes had made her shiver even then, and she did so now at the thought of whatever lessons the woman might have inflicted upon her nephew. "Good" she answered. "Because your father kind of...well he's a little scary, Draco." She tensed mildly as though not sure how he would take that information. 11 Jun 16, 08:56 AM Draco: A nod. "To a lot of people he is. But remember one thing, darling," he said leaning closer to her, "when the DE went into battle he and my mother spent the war trying to find me rather then fighting. She lied for Potter so hey could get inside the castle to keep me safe. You are going to be as important to them soon enough and our children even more so. You can be afraid of him if you want to, but he will be protecting you with his life as much as he does for me." And that fact, for Draco at least, solved it all. 11 Jun 16, 09:07 AM Gia: She did remember, but all anyone ever talked about was what his mother had done, the revelation that his father had been involved was news to her. She conjured the image of the man she had seen at the gala the night it all happened, and suddenly realized that he and her father had something in common. Family was first. It wasn't everything, but it was something, and it gave Gia something she could remind herself of at the very least. "My father was the same way" she admitted softly. "He joined the DE because his entire family already had. Without that I don't think..." She hesitated, "I don't think he would have been a part of it at all, but he felt like he should be where they were." She bit her lip, going silent as she thought about the potential that it could all repeat itself if her Uncle Seth became the next Dark Lord. "If you do...get involved with Nadya" she began softly, "Please make sure its someone who can protect her if..." She let the sentence trail, trusting he was more than smart enough to figure it out. 11 Jun 16, 09:12 AM Draco: The news about her family was good, but the other part was more interesting. "I will see what I can do." A kiss on her chin and he whispered in her ear "You are, however, my main responsibility. I will do what I can to get her situated, but it's you I will be keeping close tabs on." 11 Jun 16, 09:21 AM Gia: He kissed her, and it was such a casual gesture that she envied his ease of doing so. He seemed to be at ease about everything when it came to social interactions, and she envied that tremendously. Gia had never been good with social aspects, at least beyond those she had been trained in like galas and balls. She knew the rules and technicalities of what she was supposed to say and do, but it had never come naturally to her the way it did to him or her sister. She smiled softly, "I think yo have a few other main responsibilities that might be competing for a while" she observed. She fell back onto the bed and sighed. "So, exactly how many days do we have before I'm the new Mrs. Malfoy?" she asked. "I get the impression it won't be very many." 11 Jun 16, 03:57 PM [×]Draco: He laughed. "Oh ye of little knowledge in this aspect, let me enlighten you. We're about to be married. People are clearing the boards of stuff as we speak without any request from us to make sure the day goes well and that every aspect will be seen to. Both our mothers are probably working together to arrange everything. While I've been here with you teaching you this new skill," he looked proud of himself for that "I know wherever it's being held it's being decorated and preped, food is being set up, and probably not a few presents are being purchased by people who already have the invites probably yesterday. I get the impression I'll be separated from you in the morning first thing so I suspect the wedding is tomorrow." He looked smug at her startled look. "Why do you think I have not been casting the charm? No point. You practically are the newest Mrs Malfoy, my dear. They are insulating us from most everything." 11 Jun 16, 08:46 PM Gia: Her eyes widened almost to the point of being comical, and her expression became more surprised as he continued his explanation. "B-but there is no possible way that they could...in less than three days? Can they?" If she hadn't already been lying down, she would have needed to do so. "Why the rush? They can't be worried about me backing out. I signed the papers myself." Her head was spinning again, not for the first time since she'd met him. 11 Jun 16, 08:54 PM Draco: He shrugged and his hand played with her chest as he lay there, caressing her slowly but in all the right ways. "Possibly, but since it was in the aper, I've been told it's snatched a lot of headlines and gossip. They may be doing it quickly to seize the social world right now with importance for all I know." In truth, it was part of a news grabbing agreement for another reason, but he didn't know anything about that so he assumed the other 11 Jun 16, 09:10 PM Gia: She closed her eyes, arching a bit into his hands, her eyes going cloudy again as she lost focus for a moment. However, he mentioned gossip and she groaned and covered her face with an arm. "It was one social column headline" she complained softly. She looked up at him. "So we're getting married so quickly so we can /keep/ the headlines?". 11 Jun 16, 09:15 PM [×]Draco: He laughed. "I keep forgetting how innocent you used to be, and then you say things like that." He smiled and teased her a bit more physically with relish. "It wasn't just one column. There have been a few articles that tied in over the last two days. You made quite an impression, but I only brought you the first one." 11 Jun 16, 09:41 PM Gia: She moved her arm only so she could look him in the eye. "I don't think having sex is going to completely change my personali--" And then she thought of Nadya and stopped. Would it? He was very focused on her body at the moment, and though it felt good, she felt they might actually need to talk if they were getting married the next day. A...a f-few" Her expression had shifted from confusion and surprise to panic. "How many is a few?" 12 Jun 16, 07:27 AM [×]Draco: He heard her pause and, tickling her with his tongue, her next words were stuttered. Rolling her onto her front allowed him to flex her butt with his hands before sliding them up her torso. "Hmmm," he paused as he whispered in her ear "The one big one on the front page and six articles inside the paper over the next two days which would have been through today. Particularly the dress and the moment where I carried you into the center of attention." He controlled a smirk as she panicked a bit sliding an arm around her middle pinning her down with his weight as he said in her ear "Calm. No media can get you here. You are safe in my arms. And once you are through the wedding no one can get near you except through me and mine." 12 Jun 16, 08:50 AM Gia: She felt him, she felt everything as though he were the only thing in existence in her world. Why were her feelings for him so intense? At least, these feelings. The rest was much more complicated. Still, his tongue on her skin made her squirm and her eyes closed automatically as her breathing hitched. She bit her lip, trying desperately to focus on his words instead of her body. /"Six?"/ she repeated incredulously. She sighed, "I am never going to enter another ballroom again" she vowed. He pinned her with his body, and her eyes came up to his. "That won't stop them from making things up, a wedding this fast means they'll make all kinds of assumptions about the kind of person I am and why we're rushing." Giana was proud of her reputation, she had worked extremely hard to cultivate it, learned every rule of etiquette and followed it to the letter her entire life. Though not prejudiced herself, Gia was proud of her social status, not only as a pureblood, but as a Valerio, one of the 12 Jun 16, 08:52 AM Gia: wealthiest pureblood families in Britain, though not quite in the same echelon as the Malfoys. Now, she felt as if she was watching it all shatter in front of her. The press would inevitably get a hold of information about her sister and thereby make assumptions about her character as well. They would assume Draco married her because he'd gotten her pregnant, not through any merit on her part. She didn't say any of this, but her expression was full of a swirl of emotion ranging from sadness to panic, all of which would be thoroughly frustrating to Draco she was certain. 12 Jun 16, 01:51 PM Draco: Hearing her concerns even if quietly, he got it. He too was from a family that was concerned about reputations, but he also was high enough on the food chain to know what he could ignore. He knew in history that those who went on about their business could merge those reputations. Being a Malfoy would allow her to shed the scandal the speed of this might bring and her loving mother persona would destroy any remaining bits he felt confident. Giana might not se ein herself a socialite, but Draco wasn't planning on turning her into one either. His mother managed to stay out of most of it and one day the story of their emergence as a couple would be still just that, a legend. With her body pinned under him he could feel his interest growing in her; how did she already inspire him so for more? 12 Jun 16, 01:56 PM [×]Draco: "So? I can go and do an interview if you want, tell the story of that opening in my own way. That will be the only one I will give and it will be enough for those hounds if you like. You still don't need to talk to them, I promised you I could keep them away from you. Time will show them they were wrong and after nine months have passed your reputation will be intact and the story will die." He moved his groin against her rear, one hand sliding underneath her to cup her. "It's none of their business; Malfoy's do what they want, when they want, and we get away with it because we are strong. If we survived the Dark Lord, Giana, then youwill survive this and come out as desirable as any rose." He kissed her neck on the side, his nostrils flaring with his breath. 12 Jun 16, 02:27 PM Gia: How could simple touches make her feel this way, granted they were far more intimate than any she had ever had, but was it normal to feel so strongly or was being a sex addict genetic? She knew Luca had his own infamous reputation, though being male it was far less damaging to him than for Nadya. "Are you reading my mind or am I just that easy to read?" she asked him softly. He had a reputation for his power, and it wasn't outside the realm for him to be able to do so. At least, not in her mind. Nine months, she reasoned, was not an incredibly long time, but it would mean a lot of side long glances at her stomach at school for a while until she /was/ pregnant and far enough along that she had to leave school. They might be almost graduated by then actually. The thought made her hopeful. The rumors would die, her reputation would remain in tact, and there would be a baby, their baby to take care of so she wouldn't have to be lonely during the hours when everyone else was in class. "Is 12 Jun 16, 02:27 PM Gia: your family actually invincible, or do you all just behave as though you are and its such a convincing act that people perpetuate it for you?" It was something she had always wondered actually, and given his speech, she was even more curious. 12 Jun 16, 02:39 PM [×]Draco: He chuckled softly against her back, caressing her underside. "No, I don't need to. I can feel your encouragement and satisfaction without words." Merlin she was fun to tame! Draco's careful consideration he had long ago learned was worth the time in the long run. Already his new wife was learning to merge her personal space entirely into his. She spoke about it and his smile grew more wolfish though she could not see it from behind her head. Kissing her neck again as his other hand slid under her he added seductively "I'll be turning you into one tomorrow, darling." Not an answer to her unspoken question of course but he wanted her mind headed towards other things like accepting who she was going to become. "I understand that having children provides a similar rush..." 12 Jun 16, 02:52 PM Gia: So the 'easy to read' option it was then. Ah well, she supposed it didn't matter now, and would matter less very soon. It wasn't as though she had much to hide, especially since he was likely to understand her most personal secrets as they had proven that night at the gala. "Giana Malfoy" she tested the name slowly on her tongue and then shook her head. "I still can't get my mind around it" she confessed. "Might take a while. Last night I went to sleep fully expecting to wake up in my own bed back home" she admitted. He mentioned the rush of children and she laughed. "Really? Because according to my mother it's mostly a lot of discomfort" she pointed out, smiling cheerfully despite her words. 12 Jun 16, 03:01 PM Draco: Using his thumb tocaress the part of her in his hand (a delightful part as any male could attest from any woman), he heard her test out his own name on her. It brought a rather possessive smile to his face too and he felt glad they lived in a male dominated society. "Eventually you will. I wouldn't worry about it too much. But if it does ask mother how she learned to deal with it." She spoke about children and his soundless laugh included a lot of triumph; h was going to be a father at seventeen. None of his peers could claim that either! Let them keep the high-maintenance girls from the dorm who prided themselves on being in control and fasionistas! His children were going to be raised to be smarter and wiser then most. "Somehow I doubt your bed at your father's place was half as comfortable as mine is, especially with you in it." He could hear her smile and knew he had pretty much won over her nerves. "Creating a little copy of yourself is where the rush comes in. That's afterwards, not during, my dear wife." 12 Jun 16, 03:19 PM Gia: She gasped softly at his touch and her eyes changed as she reacted to the sensation of it. "Right, she was Narcissa Black before she married your father, right?" The Blacks, like all the rest of them, had their own mixed history to deal with, but as far as Giana knew they were all dead, save for Draco of course who was still an heir through his mother. She grinned, "you're hard to resist when you're in a good mood" she told him. "I don't think I've ever seen you this happy before." Knowing she was the cause, or at least partly the cause, went a long way to alleviating her stress. She pictured it, or tried to, and what she imagined endeared the idea to her. "Bless them, they'll be very pale won't they?" 12 Jun 16, 03:37 PM [×]Draco: "Yes, she was. We have a long history with their family and they are now us really." She spoke about him being in a good mood as he rubbed himself against her again, still pinning her down. A little manhandling never hurt he felt and she was after all his. "Hearing you accept what i say is helping a lot of course. But mostly it's the idea of having you mine which has me right now..." Draco nibbled on her ear softly as he finished speaking, his other searching hand under her finding her other breast and cupping it as well. "Ahhh..." he said with satisfaction in his tones. His next word was nearly a purr. "They will be, yes, but you seem to like pale men anyway..." Suddenly there was a knock on the door and he growled his annoyance as he said sharpy "Yes?" A house elf poked it's head in. "Young Master is needed upstairs," which meant his father of course. 12 Jun 16, 07:11 PM Gia: She nodded understanding since he had essentially echoed her thoughts. His body moved against hers in response to her statement and she shook her head at him, though she was smiling as she did so. She laughed softly. "You haven't said anything I've felt like disagreeing with yet" she pointed out, not wanting him to think she didn't have her own opinions about things. As it stood, however, she was still getting acclimated, and he had been nothing but accommodating thus far besides. Plus, she appreciated being kept out of the eye of the media, though she suspected she might have to interact with them at some point, whatever he said, especially if her family became involved in...She halted the thought, there was no sense in borrowing trouble. She had enough to think about. His breath on her ear made her shiver, and more so when she felt his lips and teeth graze her skin. She turned in his arms to kiss him softly as he grasped her breast, smiling against his lips at his comment. That was 12 Jun 16, 07:12 PM Gia: until someone knocked on the door and she shifted to cover herself rather frantically a moment before an elf appeared, killing the moment and causing Draco to growl in frustration. The elf spoke, and Gia sighed. "Later then" she promised him softly. She needed to finish unpacking anyway. 12 Jun 16, 08:44 PM [×]Draco: The fact she agreed with him only made him happier; she was clearly more sub then dom and that fit his interests well enough as to be almost pre-ordered. "Excellent..." and he unpinned first before she turned over, but then they were interrupted. He sighed. "Fine. You unpack, I'll be back as soon as I can." He got up, pulled on another shirt less wrinkled in a rush of movement, then was gone. 12 Jun 16, 08:44 PM Draco: The fact she agreed with him only made him happier; she was clearl more sub then dom and that fit his interests well enough as to be almost pre-ordered. "Excellent..." and he unpinned first before she turned over, but then they were interupted. He sighed. "Fine. You unpack, I'll be back as soon as I can." He got up, pulled on another shirt less wrinkled in a rush of movement, then was gone. 12 Jun 16, 08:50 PM Gia: She nodded, waiting until both he and the elf were gone before she redressed and made her way into the rooms next door to finish unpacking and arranging her things. When she had finished, only two of her books had been unpacked, one sat on her bedside table entitled "Ancient and Noble Houses of Britain" and the other she held as she sat curled on the large settee in the sitting room of his suite. This one bore the words "Spells and Charms For New Wives" and had been a gift from her mother, brought by Nadya this morning. It wasn't difficult reading in the slightest, which made it perfect for passing the time. 12 Jun 16, 09:00 PM [×]Draco: When he returned to the suite he walked through and finding her curled up with another book he laughed shaking his head. Stepping behind her, he slipped a leg on either side of her, wrapping his arms about her middle as he asked "Ah, she's already found another distraction. What is it now?" Looking over her shoulder he made a face she couldn't see. "Ah, lots of spells on the house? I assume there are ones about keeping your husband happy as well?" 12 Jun 16, 09:08 PM Gia: He slid in behind her and she smiled. "I can hear that tone in your voice Draco Malfoy" she knew what he must be thinking about her reading a Witch Weekly bestseller. "It was a gift from mom, Nadya brought it with her this morning." She turned a page and snorted delicately. "Chapter four if you must know" she answered. Placing a marker in the book, she closed it and sat back against him. "Is everything all right? What happened?" 12 Jun 16, 09:12 PM Draco: He smirked. "You are getting good at reading me then. Just a few weeks you didn't believe me when I told you knew nothing about how intense physical interaction was. I think I've made a believer out of you." He rolled his eyes. "Witch weekly. Sweet Merlin, does she really think it's that useful?" She asked and he nodded, "Tomorrow morning is when they are separating us. I was right about the timing. Wedding is tomorrow night." 12 Jun 16, 09:20 PM Gia: "I think you've made a...researcher out of me" she corrected him. "I couldn't possibly gather enough data in one weekend to make a proper conclusion" the teasing tone in her voice was obvious. "She was the only girl in her family from a totally different world than papa when they got married. You can imagine the difference between being raised by her brothers and suddenly being part of an extremely wealthy, very large Italian family. According to the note she sent, she learned a lot." She shrugged one shoulder gently. "It helps pass the time if nothing else." A sideways glance at the mention of the wedding. "That means mom's dress is probably waiting for me in one of these rooms already." Her eyes softened. "I've always wanted to wear it. It's perfect." Then something occurred to her. "Oh Merlin, my family will be here tomorrow" She tried to picture a room full of her mother, her aunts, and her female cousins in the otherwise peaceful Malfoy manner and laughed. "I hope your parents are prepared." 12 Jun 16, 09:27 PM [×]Draco: His hand tightened as she mentioned researching more. "Well then, I shall attempt to live up to your expectations in the next week." Ah, so her mother came from a lower order. That did make the book make more sense, but he hoped she didnt fall into thinking that sort of stuff was too real. "Warn me before you start using any of them on me directly." He nodded. "Somewhere upstairs I think. And only some of your family, they are having the wedding off property somewhere. I get taken to a place to spend the day and we'll see each other tomorrow evening in the service. You're going to want that boldness anklet on. There are three hundred on the guest list." 12 Jun 16, 09:31 PM Gia: She grinned, "You've succeeded brilliantly thus far." Her memories of the previous night had faded with how well today had gone. A nod, "Of course, I wouldn't know the first thing about most of it anyway. I'll ask" she assured him. His explanation of the wedding made sense. "Ah, that will be easier then." But at the mention of the guest list, she froze. "Th-three h-hundred." She paled, "D-Draco I..They w-want me to st-stand up there in f-front of three-hundred p-people?" Not to mention the reception afterward. An entire evening of being the center of attention. Gia swallowed hard. "H-how p-powerful are the e-enchantments on that anklet exactly?" 13 Jun 16, 05:53 AM [×]Draco: Of course he liked hearing that! As he predicted in his mind, she began to freak out a little. "You only have to walk pass them once, after that I will be there with you. I expect you to focus on me more then them anyway..." he began smugly. When she didn't seem reassured, he tightened his arms around her and said "And then we'll be facing away from them, your hand in mine. So yes, I think the anklet would be a good idea. And if that's not enough the cheerful bracelet as well should help you out." She worried about their strength? "I'm not sure what you mean by strength. I've been told they've been used by brides for quite a few generations, helping them carry off the day flawlessly so they could toss worry aside about getting through it all. You strike me as one who needs it more then most probably had. Since you don't care for crowds." 13 Jun 16, 08:23 AM Gia: Gia smirked. She was beginning to realize that the male ego was a delicate thing, and in Draco's case it also happened to be a rather large part of who he was. They were very very different in that aspect. Gia hated being the center of attention, and while she wanted to be respected for her mind, she did not have to be the smartest one in the room. "Sure" she nodded emphatically. "I'll wear two of them if you have them" she smiled wryly. It remained in place as she added: "Don't care for in the same way that He Who Must Not Be Named didn't much care for Harry Potter" she confirmed. 13 Jun 16, 09:46 AM [×]Draco: He nodded, satisfied with her answer. "Good. They were in with the bride's jewelry I already showed you, the black box. I'd say go ahead and put them on first thing in the morning unless you wanna try them out tonight ahead of time." A raised eyebrow. "That much eh? Well then, I will do my best not to accept invitations for the both of us, only for myself." He smirked. 13 Jun 16, 09:12 PM Gia: "In the morning I think" she decided. "I don't want to risk being too keyed up to sleep since I don't know how strong an effect the charms will have." She smiled softly at his statement. "I don't mind smaller things, and I grew up going to galas and charity events so that's not too bad. I just...I don't like being the center of attention." She told him softly. "Being all over the papers, getting up in front of everyone, that's Nadya, not me." She bit her lip, "I'll go anywhere with you that you want me to, I just don't like going places alone." 13 Jun 16, 09:36 PM [×]Draco: A shake of his head. "You won't sleep much anyway if you are thinking too much about tomorrow." Well then, she'd be surprised at how often she would have attention he was willing to bet. "Hence why I'll be going to a lot of events I suspect on my own. With the way this all got started, I doubt you will be ignored at an event for quite some time till they've gotten a lot of talking from you." He slipped out from behind her then, taking her arm firmly. "Well, that's easy enough then. We're going to bed, Giana, since you're happy to go with me anywhere..." 14 Jun 16, 07:27 AM Gia: "Fair point" she allowed, then he spoke of the events and she nodded. "That is probably true, we will see what happens." He took her arm and her eyes came up to his as he spoke, and she smiled. "I get the feeling you do not mean to sleep, and I am not sure I have anything else in me again tonight." She didn't want to irritate him, but she didn't particularly want to be exhausted either. All of this was still very new to her, and she desperately needed some time to process everything. 14 Jun 16, 09:44 AM [×]Draco: "That may be true in your mind, Giana, but I have several things you should consider. One, tomorrow you will be amarried woman so tonight is your last technically free night. Two, your future husband of tomorrow very much would like to be in you tonight on this last night." His eyes twinkled at her. "Three, sex is excercise and helps wear you out energy wise which is a good time for both rest and speculation and deep thinking contemplation. Fourth, I do need to make sure you sleep the night before the wedding so you are fresh for the morning when our family will be here." He didn't stop leading her towards the inner door during these points. "Now since we were interupted earlier when you were giving me a good signal you were interested, and Im pretty sure you want me very protective over you tomorrow..." He winked.
