Predictably he rebutted her jibe about snakes and badgers. She turned her head to grin at him. "This is true, but between the two of us, who do you think would me more likely to come off as the aggressor?" Keela was naturally fairly laid back, quidditch and the occasional argument not withstanding, she could be downright passive when the situation called for it. She turned so she could watch the flames dance in the hearth. She was feeling a bit antsy, despite appearances. It was getting late, and while she didn't want him to go, she'd pretty much decided to crash there for the night. She didn't want him to get caught sneaking back, and she didn't feel right asking him to crash on the couch. The situation had the gears in her mind whirring in search of a plausible solution. Part of her worried about what would happen if her dorm mates found her bed empty in the morning. The speculation would go rampant, that she was certain of. Hufflepuffs were equally as famous for their ability to gossip as they were for their loyalty.
She exhaled, gave him a warm, relieved smile, and the tension in her frame ebbed. "I understand", she answered softly. "Cern isn't usually violent, I'll be surprised if it comes to that." Then again, he had gotten in a lot of trouble for fighting just recently over something somewhat similar. She shook her head, that had been different, she assured herself. Cern's relationship with Lilli meant they already spent less time together, she tried not to speculate on what her dating Vin might do to help that along. Somehow she doubted they'd be double-dating any time soon. She returned her attention to the fireplace, but addressed him. "I don't think it'll come to that", she assured him. "He'll be angry, but I don't think he'll hold it against me." He's just going to be furious that I misled him, decided to date a snake, spent the night in the Room of Requirement and then didn't tell him about it. Which of course, was much better than his holding her feelings against her. Keela smiled, "I kind of admire your mom, it can't be easy having to keep up with that many kids." She was having trouble wrapping her mind around four. What Vin was describing resembled utter chaos in her mind. "So what do they do with the little ones during the school year?" she asked, curious. "You're not going to tell me one of your house ghosts is also a nanny are you?"
Keela grinned, "that you know of anyway." She nodded in understanding when he spoke of having a big family. "Most of my immediate relatives all live with us anyway. Mum was an only child, but I have great aunts and uncles and their families, plus my aunts and their families." She paused, eyes wide. "You have enough for two teams?" She sounded awed, almost envious. "We can only play a real game during the holidays when everyone gets together. Cern doesn't play unless dad makes me him, but he's a pretty decent beater." It didn't sound so bad the way he put it, still, the idea of having so many to keep up with unnerved her. She laughed softly about his assessment of beauty practices. "Spoken like a man", she teased, shrugging. "I know how to be high maintenance when I need to be, Gran wouldn't have anything less for all those society balls she threw." Keela shook her head, her smile turning soft and sad. Despite the woman's quirks, she loved her great grandmother very much, and missed her terribly.
She smiled, "if I'm going to sport Slytherin memorobilia, might as well go all out", she pointed out. "Besides, I like green, it reminds me of being home in Ireland." Keela laughed, "Dad? Oh yes, though he's not quite as much the prankster as mom." She was still grinning, "dad's sense of humor is more laid back, subtle." She thought about her dad, wondering how to give Vin an impression without a drawn out story. "Dad...didn't get to start being a kid until after he married mum", she informed him. "His dad left grandmum to raise the three of them herself, and dad had to take up the slack as soon as he could." The thought made her sad, "he's hard working, but not hard. He'd rather laugh than have to discipline us, but he does when he has to. He's creative, good with the animals, he and mom argue over who's the better quidditch player, though dad's a seeker and mum plays chaser." Keela paused and took a breath, making sure he was still following before she continued: "He loves to travel, especially on his boat. He's all about family and having goals. Mum says their making up for lost time now, trying to live life as fully as they can." There was still so much to tell, but that was enough for now. "Was that too much?"
Keela nodded as she draped the scarf around her neck, knotting it loosely so as not to be too warm. Her eyes glinted with mischief as she smiled. "Aren't you afraid you might get kicked off the team for 'consorting with the enemy'?"

Well he knew he was the most active of the two of them in this relationship at the moment, though he hoped that would change and she would become more a pursuer of time with him. "You know, Keela, I'm kind of way past curfew and a long way from the dorm." He was confident he could make his way back without being caught, but he was hoping to not have to worry about that so he didn't want to bring up his successful return sans detention. "I don't think at this hour that anyone would believe me if I said I had permission. So I think we have to make a-- well, you have to tell me what's going to happen here." She was, after all, the prefect. he slipped an arm around her middle as she leaned back on him, reminding her subtly how much she enjoyed his nearness.
"Well, if we get up early to return to the dorm, there's a good chance no one will be stirring and you can talk to your brother then after changing. You said you spoke with him most mornings, right?" Surely if she told him stuff up front they could come to some kind of agreement of no hard feelings? It wasn't like Cern could keep her from her own decisions and he thought she had said they had a truce at the moment. Her comment about his mother made him shrug slightly and smiling slightly. "Well, mom and dad both have money so we had a nanny around till Hogwarts age, a live one and a ghost one. So instead of it being just her, there's three, one who just keeps the other two informed on where the others are and what they're doing and to tell them stories as well as play games with them. Not physically of course. Oh, and there are the two boy ghosts to play hide and go seek with." Those had been challenging games too! As for the cousins and extended family, well they went home at some point. The island was more a vacation spot then anything else for the rest of the families.
"When mom goes out on research trips she often takes the youngest and a nanny with her. And dad is planning on taking some of the Silvers to Egypt this summer so that will make it easier for her. I'll actually be at loose ends..." Hint hint, if things went well they could do some traveling this summer; he knew he could get his mom to give him permission if it was approached right. The idea of traveling with her and sleeping in the same bed for a month at a time sounded heavenly; surely she would be convinced entirely by the end of that! He nodded at her description of all the relatives. "Yeah I think big families are the best. Everyone gets a sense of being part of something larger and there's always someone around to play with. I know I wouldn't have been so happy with a small one." And of course by big he meant a lot more then what she was used to, but let that thought run around in the back of her mind. There would be time enough for convincing later on.
He laughed at her high maintenance comment; he had a different point of view on that one! "I don't think of you so much as requiring high maintenance as much as you are someone I would spend a lot of maintenance on because your worth it..." Remind her how much he already considered her precious and worth time on his part; couldn't do anything but help his cause! She spoke about his shirts again and he chuckled. "Okay, then you need to think of good trading wear. I certainly can't wear the hufflepuff stuff in the common room or out of the dorm except on the right game days so if you want to see me with your stuff you might have to be more...creative." His eyes sparkled at her, challenging her. Honestly, half the stuff she wore loose would be skin tight on him, but if she chose neutral enough stuff she might be surprised how he would treat it. her father sounded like a working man, someone who supported the family and then took his enjoyment later. But she also said he had a good sense of humor, just quieter. Interesting. "Oh really? And you live on a farm so that must have been tough..."
What little Vincent knew about farm life sounded very hard to him really. A seeker though; there he could probably say a lot in common with the man at least! "Well if two seekers can't talk about something neutral I'll be surprised. And no, that's good, I just wanted to get an idea of who I was going to be talking to eventually. He sounds as interesting as your mom actually." As she knotted the scarf around her neck he kept his arm possessively around her middle, moving his hand up and down slowly, proving to her she liked him touching and near her. "Ah darling, to prevent that I have to play extra hard against Hufflepuff now, got to show we're going all out against you so that when we're not playing no one is going to have any issue with me at all. besides, I am the captain. As long as my head of house is satisfied with my games and what my goals are I should be very good."

She wondered if she'd ever feel like she had the upper hand on him, if such a thing were even possible. Sure, she'd kept him at arm's length, remained distant until recently, but even that had possessed an air of futility, as if it were only a matter of time before she got tired of fighting against it and the whole thing fell rather smoothly into place. The relief she'd felt upon giving in to him was almost annoying in its certainty. Still, she maintained that things wouldn't progress too quickly, no matter what circumstances might have allowed tonight. As though reading her thoughts, he brought up the curfew situation. She glanced up at him, startled, wondering again if he might be a legillimens and simply keeping it secret. "I know", she said softly, eyes suddenly anxious. It was unlikely she could escort him back under the guise of having already been caught, any teacher or Prefect on duty would know she didn't have rounds tonight. She didn't want him in detention because of her. Increasingly comfortable with his touch, but no less unsure of the situation, she squirmed slightly as the gears in her mind turned quickly. She could ask him to sleep on the couch, but that wasn't particularly fair. They could ask the room to shift and provide a sleeping place for both of them but... If Keela was honest with herself, she didn't want that. She wanted him beside her, wanted to drown out the warring thoughts and emotions with his nearness. After all, she reminded herself, she'd been considering sleeping with him less than an hour ago, doing so in the technical sense rather than the physical sense seemed like a far smaller step by comparison. She realized she was justifying something she wouldn't have considered even yesterday, she just didn't care. She was still sad, still dealing with this new distance that seemed to be growing between she and her brother. She felt confused and vulnerable and the darker emotions pulled at the edges of her mind, waiting for any foothold she might give them. She wanted him, and what's more, she didn't want to be alone. She met his eyes, feeling suddenly shy again. "You could...that is, we could...share." She flushed, "I don't want you to get detention trying to sneak back, and making you sleep on the couch seems silly considering..." Considering that we were going at it like rabbits an hour ago... "That is...if that's okay?" She thought about the suggestion, "Cern's been sleeping a bit later since he and Lilli got together, it shouldn't be too hard to get back into the dorm before he makes it downstairs." Part of her couldn't believe she was actually in this position, the other couldn't help being slightly amused. Keela listened as he spoke, eyes widening. "Hide and seek with ghosts..." she murmured. "Did they ever lose?" She couldn't imagine it, but as he described it the whole thing sounded interesting. "Mum was usually around unless she was doing something for St. Mungos or on a trip with dad. She's a healer, but she usually just makes house calls." Keela shrugged, "when they're both gone, Grandmum usually keeps an eye on us." She was harder to fool than Keela's own parents, Keela never said so to anyone other than her siblings. "Aunt Aimidd and Aunt Boann help too, but they've usually got their hands full with my cousins." She glanced up at him thoughtfully, "is that how you did all your traveling when you were young, with your mum?" The seed was planted almost before Keela had time to register the thought. If he wasn't going to Egypt this summer, maybe the two of them could do some exploring. The fantasy began to take both shape and root in the back of her mind. As she continued listening, however, she heard what he didn't say as clearly as the words coming out of his mouth. He wanted a big family regardless of what he said, it was something she'd have to consider if things continued progressing. Not, mind you, that she planned on getting married any time soon. Keela blushed, but she also laughed. Of course he would find a way to turn a misunderstood comment into a flattering compliment. "That isn't what I meant!" She was still smiling though. "I meant I know how to put in a lot of effort when I need to, all those ridiculous pureblood beauty expectations are ingrained in the useless information part of my brain." She tapped the side of her head lightly, "somewhere between divination and how to ride a muggle bicycle." Keela did think about it, and then she smiled somewhat shyly. "Would you like something like this?" she questioned softly. "I made this one, it's more of a sailor's knot", she informed him. "Dad's are usually more intricate, but he's had years of practice." Speaking of her dad...Keela nodded in acknowledgement. "It was, though I think dad downplays most of it now. He and mum ended up marrying out of love, but I think they would have married each other anyway for their family's sake." Keela grinned, "they're a pair for sure", Keela admitted. "Mum will probably be the harder sell of the two, but you should be fine." The conversation shifted to quidditch, and she laughed. "Don't expect me to go easy on your players either", she warned him. "This is my last chance at the cup", she reminded him, "and I intend to win it." She'd be able to carry that with her, that they'd won the year she made captain, and she wanted it, badly. He was very good all right, at many things. The thought sent a dose of adrenaline coursing through her blood, teasing her as it went. "Don't count your hippogryphs before they hatch, love. I don't plan on going down easily." The statement could have been taken several ways, but the glint in her eyes narrowed them down considerably.

Her eyes were wide as she contemplated the options, which he knew were few. Which way the rabbit would jump though he had no idea, whether she would give in and just make it easy or insist on some odd sleeping arrangement; he for one was willing to stop halfway, her under the sheets and him under the cover. He could wear his jeans and be fine, heck, he only needed to kick off his shoes as he had already doffed his shirt. Vin didn't dare mention that though in case she did come up with a more (and dare he hope) intimate possibility! After a minute the look she gave him was one which made a certain part of him lift a bit; that shy-ish look hinted at desire! At her words he felt his excitement grow as well but he hid it well, his eyes only broadcasting how intensely interested he was in her decision.
As she asked if that was okay he said softly, a smile on his lips "If it's okay with you, it's okay with me, Keela. It also makes the most sense given the situation." A glance at the bed with a shake of his head, the room clearly knew more about inward thoughts then he had previously imagined. "If I didn't know better I'd say that the room was playing matchmaker, but surely it doesn't pick up thoughts that deeply..." As she admitted it would work for her sneaking back in he gave her a squeeze around the middle saying "We'll make it work. I'll be very sure to get you up early. If you don't want to in the morning though I'm not claiming responsibility" he grinned with a roguish smile and a wink.
He let her switch subjects, both of them feeling more relaxed now that the decision had been discussed out loud as if to say 'There, that's done now.'
"You just have to have rules. They mostly do the seeking and you do the hiding. It's a challenge to stay ahead of them, but most ghosts are like real people, it's a habit not to go through walls all the time and they always use the doors to pass through." She spoke of aunts and grand-mother and he felt a bit of wistfulness over that; he'd never had grandparents really. His father's side was not people he was supposed to model himself over and his mother's parents were long gone. "Nice. Yeah some, though dad has a place in Egypt so we went into Africa a lot on vacation time. I was there last year actually." She reacted well to his compliment and he grinned back, glad she saw he was teasing and complimenting her both.
Glancing at the knot he had to admit if she was making things like that by hand then yes he wanted one from her. "Hey, an idea there..." Touching it with his fingers he pointed out one color and then the other. "Since Hufflepuff uses black and yellow and Slytherin uses green and silver, why don't you make one for each of us, one black and silver with the black the most and then the other with the reverse? Most people won't even realize it's a house color thing for us..." He could think of a few silver things for her which would work as presents as well, a nice switch up since he already had several gold things. And people probably would never realize the trick!
The mention of Quidditch definitely got them off to another style of talking. "Ha, well it will be my duty to try and prevent that, but I can be bribed to possibly not try so hard." if she couldn't guess the bribe he wasn't going to say. He laughed however at her other words, sliding both hands up her back sensuously to her shoulders like stroking a big cat. "Love, I wouldn't have it any other way," and he leaned forward and kissed her neck suddenly on the side, inspired to maybe remind her of what lay across the room and how there was a very pleasant way to finish off their conversation.

He looked oddly satisfied with her suggestion, or perhaps not so oddly. She thought so too, but didn't comment. She was off-balance, unsure as she'd ever been despite the progress they'd made in the last few hours. It was another step, and they'd made several of them tonight. She noticed his line of vision, followed his eyes their, and swallowed hard before biting her lip. Keela shrugged, "mum, dad and I have talked about it. They used the room occasionally too. No one they've talked to seems to have any idea just how conscious the room actually is." From Keela's point of view, it seemed odd, almost creepy to think that four walls might somehow be alive. On the other hand, it did come in handy in moments like these. She had needed a place for the two of them to go, and the room had provided, not only for that need, but for others as well. Despite her nerves, she couldn't resist the bait. "Funny, since I'm certain if I'm too tired to get up in the morning it'll be all your fault." Her tone had lightened, and a smile pulled at the corners of her lips. His answering smile was appropriately mischievous and widened her eyes at him, before sub-consciously running the tip of her tongue over her bottom lip. The subject shifted, granting her a moment's reprieve. "I bet you play a wicked game of hide and seek though." It might say something for the patience he'd cultivated. Keela looked thoughtful. "I mostly go back and forth between Ireland and dad's family and England to see mum's", she shrugged. "Other than that its mostly coastal areas where dad goes exploring." She hadn't been too far out since she'd started school. "Which do you like better? Being home or being in Egypt?" He seemed to mention both fairly often, and she was curious. Plus it was a safe topic on a night when there seemed to be an ever shrinking number of them. While he spoke, she glanced covertly at the bed again. It looked comfortable at first glance, invitingly so, but it also made her nervous, and so held an equal air of foreboding. Still, they had to sleep some time. Tomorrow was a visit, and she didn't want to be wiped out for that. She looked at the bracelet critically, creating an image. She'd been wondering what to get him for Christmas, that might just do the trick. "It'd definitely be worth a try", she admitted. "I'll have to think about the design though, that'll take some practice." Keela laughed, flushing lightly at what he might consider a suitable bribe for such a thing. However, she wouldn't drawn. "I'm fairly confident I can beat you fair and square", she assured him. "I'll save the bribery for...other things." Her tone insinuated more than she was necessarily capable of delivering on in that moment, but she liked the feeling of being on even ground with him. A moment later, however, he was kissing her neck, and she felt her 'even ground' shatter under her feet. The warmth of the fire and her growing fatigue made her mind go cloudy, battering her already weak defenses. She moved closer to him, pressing against him as she moved to brush her lips across his temple, working her way down to his jaw and then down his neck to his shoulder in gentle trailing kisses. Newly conscious of his bare skin, she revelled in the warmth of it. His nearness and the knowledge that she was more or less in complete control of this situation ironically warred with what little control she still possessed. Frustrated with the way his shirt hindered her movements, she pulled it up and over her head, discarding it somewhere on the floor nearby. They'd be going to bed soon anyway, she reasoned, and she didn't sleep in layers.

Vincent understood that the first time was scary, a whole new threshold to cross which could not be returned across, but he also knew the delights and the world it opened up to one's awareness. And as she swallowed, having looked over to the bed he knew he would have to ease her into it, bring her to the conclusion careful to send her over first and in completeness as well; after that he doubted she would be in any form to object to him following afterward! "Yeah. Spooky, but damn handy sometimes." In answer to her other point about being tired he chuckled softly and shook his head. "You know what they say about too much of a good thing..." and then leaned over for a whisper in her ear with "it's fantastic..."
As she said it he had to admit he hadn't thought about it in a long while. "Actually, yes, when it comes to ghosts especially. Never really thought about it otherwise, but you may be right." Not that he expected many ghosts games once he was traveling, but knowing how to hide in plain sight was a good skill he would need in the muggle world indeed. And actually, if her father explored coastlines he might have already passed by Vin's home within sight of the house. "Coastlines? Well there's a lot of those. Ever go up river on another continent? I think I heard they do that with houseboats in a number of places in Europe..." Seemed a fun way to travel amongst muggles actually. Egypt was a hard thing to pass up he had to admit, but it could be quite uncomfortable at times.
"Wow, tough choice. I mean, when I'm at home I get my own space where no one else goes, and then my bedroom, and then everywhere else is fair game with my family. Egypt is very awesome looking, but it's so dry...." Yeah it sounded dumb even to him. "The air I mean, I like a little more water in my air if you understand what I mean. That place just sucks it out of you I think. Beautiful and romantic and old. I liked Morocco better I think." Especially the market and all the people everywhere. he caught her glancing at the bed and smiled; she was on the edge, clearly, not sure how to make the first move. He could help with that possibly...
He was proud of his color concept however.
"That would be cool, sort of a secret between us, you know? Be kind of funny to if they see I have all the black stuff and you have all the silver and they will be wondering if those are our favorite colors or something..." Oh? So she thought she would save the brivery for something special? Wondering if she had anything in mind, Vincent grinned and made his move to show her she didn't realize how strong the draw to it was, how much control it wielded in your mind and body by kissing her neck. She moved close, pressing herself against him and he smiled even as he kissed her. As she trailed kisses down his neck and jaw he ran his hands over her back and back down, running on down along her thighs slowly, enjoying the skin he found as she pulled his shirt off a moment later to toss it aside.
She forgot or wasn't aware how much more territory that left him to play with. As she sat on him still, he slipped an arm around behind her and kissed her fully as he helped lower her backwards, sliding one hand back up her leg as he did so. When she was almost lying back against the couch her legs in a kneeling sit, he brushed those fingertips across her bared stomach (the shirt as previously seen had slid up as he helped her bend backwards, his kisses going down her throat in the front) very lightly, delicately. Laying himself more beside her in this spot he returned to her lips as his hand circled her bellybutton and then slid up under her shirt as he went for a far deeper kiss, wanting her to feel his intentions plain which was to give her the most amazing evening of her young life. His naked chest slid up beside her as he did so, giving her access with her hands as well to explore and with far less inconvenience then he had to deal with.

The whispered words were admittedly cheesy, but the tone of his voice caused shivers none the less. She grinned shakily at him. "Is it now?" she challenged lightly, eyes glinting with a sort of mischievous curiosity. When they shifted to travel, Keela shrugged. "Dad's been all over, usually mum goes with him, but I'm usually in school when they take those sorts of trips. You'd have to ask him." It would give them something else to talk about when they eventually met. The thought set Keela's nerves on edge in a different way, wondering what her parents would think of him. Also, not daring to think about what they'd think of her current intentions. She nodded understanding as he spoke of the comparison between Egypt and home. "Nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there?" she offered. "What's in Morrocco?" she questioned, interested.
The bracelets would present a challenge, but she liked the idea. "It's worth a try", she admitted, enojying the concept of a challenge. "I might have to get some help with the details though, but I might ask one of my aunts instead of dad." That was one conversation with her father she hoped to avoid as long as possible. But, his statement did bring an interesting question. "Vin, what is your favorite color?" It occurred to her, somewhat humorously, that she'd never thought to ask. It seemed almost trite in the wake of what came next. Suddenly he was everywhere, warm and vital and elicting sensations and reactions she couldn't have ignored if she'd wanted to...and she didn't. She'd spent a year keeping her distance, and now she couldn't seem to get close enough. The voices of caution that usually resided in her head were for once utterly silent, and in their place came anticipation. His shirt had found its way to the floor almost without conscious thought, but his touch on the bare skin of her stomach had her temperature rising. She squirmed under his touch and the unfamiliar sensations it brought. Ever competitive, she looked for a way to level the playing field.
Realizing he was now laying next to her rather than hovering above, she sought leverage. Uncertain of what might work and what might not, she decided to experiment, glancing up at him hesitantly despite her flushed face and dark eyes, Grasping his hips, she worked her way down so that she was at eye-level with his chest. With only the slightest hesitation, she began placing small lingering kisses in a trail down his chest, drifting lower until she rached the waistline of his jeans. She kissed a path across his hips before working her way back up as slowly as she could manage. Mostly, she was buying herself time to process if such a thing were possible, what in Merlin's name was happening. When she could see his eyes again, her own were pleading. For all of her insistance on control and confidence, she hadn't the slightest idea what she was doing. However, his hands underneath her shirt were doing amazing things for her bravado. Still, she felt the vulnerability creep in, warring with how badly she wanted him. "Vin...I.." she struggled with coherant speech, her voice sounded raspy. Something twinged deep in the pit of her stomach, and the sound that hummed deep in the back of her throat rose up and out of her of its own accord. She closed her eyes, clung to him, lost in him and the way he was kissing her.
She shifted, uncomfortable but in a way that left her wanting something she didn't understand. The look she gave him was awed, but also a bit lost. "Vin I...I love you. I w-want to but I don't...I don't know how..." It was all she could think, the only sentence she could string together. Embarrassment momentarily clouded the desire that raced into previously unknown places. "Show me..." she pleaded, "please?"

Her daring question had him smiling back, enjoying the way her mind was working. "Very close to it, love." Her comment about Africa however was fairly close, though maybe not quite on the same path. "It'd be better if I had more tan in my skin instead of Scottish pale. I look more like a tourist there, a foreigner despite my passports so it's not so easy for me. Ash and Seth do best there, even thought they both stand out a bit. Morocco is a madhouse, filled with this huge market of almost everything you can imagine, it's like really addictive place to go wandering in. And the architecture is wildly different, love that place." he chuckled as another thought hit his mind about that country; Morocco really was a different kind of place!
"It's so different, the muggle goats climb up in the trees. I'm serious." Oh yeah, he definitely wanted to take her there. Her camera would be going crazy! And his motorcycle would make him an instant celebrity for sure, not to mention his hair! "Color? Um, well green is probably my second favorite, the nice gem tone greens that is. My favorite is a kind of medium purple, not too deep, not light either. It's...well I have a couple of shirts that come close. Dad loves royal purple, but while it's nice, it's too much for everyday use if you get my meaning. Yours?" He wondered where that question had sprung from and why; they had been talking about black and silver in the bracelet, but somehow he thought she was asking for another reason.
As he bent her over his arm (which easily supporter her) she reacted to his feather-light touches, causing him to keep them up as he slid his hand around, hoping to bring her anticipation up higher. Instead, she decided to do something of her own and gripped his hips and began lowering herself. His eyes popped as it seemed she was going to-- no, she stopped and began trying for kisses instead, working her way down and bringing up his own interest as well as his eyebrows till she came back up. He felt a slight pang of disappointment mixed with relief she didn't know those tricks yet -- it was way too early for that, not that he would have resisted the attempt! Guessing what she would like he began his own line of kisses and she simply clung to him, her eyes expressing she really was lost, unknowing where to begin. When she got her voice back she seemed to be asking him for advice, help with what to do.
Kissing her on the end of her nose briefly he said softly, moving the hair out of her eyes "You only had to ask, love, I'll show you a few things, all right?" Kissing each of her eye lids tenderly, he lay back to give her a chance to feel more in control, learn how to please him back in a way. Nothing big right now, just things she could do which would help him build up to another point with her. As he guided her hand and said soft words, he found a joy growing inside him that she wasn't just giving in, but she was trying to do her best to please him as well! His eyes closed as she kissed the side of his neck where he showed her and felt a thrill at the type of control he had in this situation as she moved down his chest...
It was still dark outside when Vincent Silver-Moon awoke slowly, feeling an arm around his middle and a weight on his stomach. It was about halfway through opening his eyes that he remembered the night and the several events which had happened throughout it. As he smiled, his eyes still closed to lids, he became conscious of the fact that he was wearing no clothes and his girlfriend had fallen asleep on his stomach, clinging to him apparently. Since she was also half laying naked across his legs, he leveraged his head up some and looked down at the tangle of hair in front of him, seeing the scarf half under her. That he knew was going to have some delightful smells attached to it now and he was glad he had asked her to wear it beforehand! Sliding a hand down into her hair he scratched her scalp slowly, starting into a rubbing movement and slowly helping her to consciousness.
The feeling in his gut made him want to sing in success that the strong willed Keela Summerby had given into him and if he remembered right, gotten more then a night's worth of education in both her own body as well as his! As she stirred slowly he ran his hand down her back, enjoying the feel of her skin and whispered to her "Hey Moza, come up here, Moza..." * using the last part of her name as a pet name as he had thought of nothing else so far. "Wakey wakey, shakey backey" he toned like his mother used to, giving her shoulder a slight wiggle and delighting in seeing the rest of those delightful parts move as well. He'd always been impressed with those rippled...
Shaking his head and knowing there would be other times for such an exploratory time, he said again "Moza, come on now, we need to get stirring. Come up here some so I can help you..." If she looked down she would discover in the dim light that the carpet most certainly matched the curtains.
* Moza (Arabic, Noun) - young beautiful woman

Keela's first conscious thoughts was that Beethoven had crawled up up onto her pillow again. She mumbled something uninteligable and buried her head. Wait, Beethoven didn't rub...she forced one heavily lidded eye open. The light was low, but she could make out a shadowy figure, which would have scared the bloody hell out of her if she hadn't been more annoyed that it was trying to wake her up. She'd been having the most amazing dream about Vin and..wait. The other eye opened slowly. The voice in her ear drew her into full consciousness. The first thing she noticed was that Vin was laying, slightly raised, next to her. The second thing she noticed less than a half a second later was that he was completely naked. Oh Merlin... Still, the weighted feeling in her limbs kept her from freaking out too suddenly. She stretched, surprised when a sharp pain greeted the movement. She flinched, and the night came rushing back in vivid detail. She blushed, eyes widening, and then felt silly. He...she...they had. "Wow.." Still, she hesitated to get out of bed.
She laughed softly at his playfulness. Shifting slightly so she could roll onto her side to look at him. "What does Moza mean?" Aware of her own state of undress, she resisted the urge to cover up. If she remembered even half of what had happened last night, he was thoroughly well acquainted with her body. She allowed herself to look at him for the first time since she'd opened her eyes. After her gaze had returned to his face, she resisted the urge to smile. Well, that certainly put one rumor to rest. She sighed, but worked her way up to eye level with him, albeit slowly, cringing softly again. "Help me what?" she asked him softly, "remember how to walk?" She pressed her lips to his, nipping his bottom lip softly, almost playfully. It was true, her limbs felt heavy, and despite the slight discomfort, she felt an overwhelming sense of fulfilled contentment. So that was what all the fuss was about...She couldn't even be mad at her brother anymore, wait, her brother. "What time is it do you think?" She couldn't remember what time it'd been the last time they'd fallen asleep, they'd all begun to run together, one long stretch of bliss. She realized it was still dark out, and relaxed, Cern wouldn't be up before the sun, she had time to get reoriented with the world.
"Do we really have to get out of bed? We could just hide out here all day. Everyone else will be at Hogsmeade..." Logically, she knew that wouldn't work. As a Prefect, she'd be expected for roll call both before and after. Still, it was a nice thought. Less nice, however was the notion of facing her brother later that morning. She forced the thought from her mind, content to focus on other things, like how happy Vin looked just then. She felt something foreign underneath her, and tugged until she'd unhindered the scarf. She draped it over the headboard, before she rolled over and settled into his side. "Exactly how long before I have to get up?" she pouted.

Clearly she was still sleepy as she opened one eye at him and then closed it, giving him a blurry look a few minutes later. he felt amused as her eyes grew a bit wider and it was so easy to read her face as the realizations came back to her and then the impact of those same events made themselves known in her mind. he smiled encouragingly and beamed at her, more then just pleased with his girlfriend. When she spoke she sounded so surprised he let out a short bark of laughter which was entirely good natured. "What is it, my darling one? Did you think you had dreamed away the night? I assure you, my dreams have never been that good nor that memorable."
As she rolled over he got another glimpse down her front and enjoyed the view, a favorite at the moment. merlin, she would be a wonder to have in his bed long term... "Well both are Arabic, which I had to learn to get by in Egypt, Dad taught us since we were barely walking. Moza means a beautiful young woman, which you most definitely are! I debated calling you Habiti, which means beloved." He didn't have to explain that the look in his eyes said that was what she was. As she began to move closer to him he put out a hand and helped pull her closer, making it easier; he had noticed her wince and could guess what that was about. Instantly feeling a bit guilty over that, he knew that was a common problem for girls the first time and sometimes the first few too.
Still, he chuckled a bit.
"Oh I bet I can help you walk again, definitely. I bet if you asked me really nicely I'd even carry you down the stairs too to make it easier for you." Damn straight he would; what an amazing thing she had given him tonight! As she kissed him and nipped his lip (something they had also messed with last night) he kissed her back feeling deeply content with the moment. "You did really well, last night Keela, thank you for your trust. I know that was hard to do." Yeah and in doing so she put her faith in him for the evening and probably a lot more then just then! Hopefully he could manage to bootstrap that into a fuller relationship between them and into much more this summer if he played his cards right!
"Right now, probably about 4 or a little after. I didn't think it would be smart for me to fall back asleep again. At least, not here." Running his hand over her forehead he tucked the hair behind her ear and then slid his hand around her cheek, holding it for a moment like a delicate flower. "Oh man, how I wish that we could! At some point though if you want to keep some privacy we'd be noticed missing from the dorm. And you at least have an excuse as a prefect to come in after the girls are all asleep. Mess up your bed and change clothes and they'd probably believe it too." His fingers slid from there down to her shoulder, enjoying his permission and her skin; he wouldn't get bored with her anytime soon that was certain!
Watching her free the scarf he noted where she put it, sure he would be wanting that before they left. And when she moved into him lying along the length of his body he freed one leg and put it around her keeping her close as well as saying he was going to claim her. At the same time he slid the hand down her side where he would not have been allowed yesterday and caught at her waist, pulling her close. "Oh I think we have a few minutes at least. I wanted to drink in the feel of you again anyway to help me get through the day cause....damn!" His eyes played over her, delighting in what had been given to him last night in a way. "Ah well, I don't think I have the words yet. I'll have to think of how to describe what I'm seeing." His eyes were amused and loving as he looked into hers and then he leaned over and kissed her again.
Long and slow, a surprising tenderness in it that he hadn't shown much of before.

Keela grinned as she stretched, looking very much the contented, delightfully sleepy girlfriend she was. "Mine either", she managed still groping for her bearings. The logical part of her brain insisted that eventually she would have to get out of the bed, get dressed, and leave him, but she loathed the idea of even one of the three much less all together. While she knew that this likely wasn't the only time they'd be together this way, it was still the first, and she didn't want to see it end yet. Still, the endearment earned him a smile even as she struggled against the desire to sink into the mattress and never move again. She registered his explanation of the chosen endearment, and nodded slowly. "I had to learn Italian the same way", she informed him. "You'd be caro mio" she rolled her tongue over the 'r' gently. "Literally, it means 'my heart' sort of the same way we use sweetheart." Keela reached up to brush the hair out of his eyes. "There are several in Italian actually, we're a very affectionate bunch." Though Keela was only about a fourth Italian, she took her heritage seriously on all sides, English, Irish and Italian, she was fairly knowledgeable about them all.
Though Keela had no doubt that he could in fact carry her down the stairs, she gave him a mischievous sort of smile. "We're going to have a hard enough time getting back into our dorms unnoticed", she pointed out. "I think if you carried me it might take a bit longer." She blushed, pleased by his compliment. "Well", she strove to sound blase, "I try." Still, the warmth in her eyes betrayed how much the words meant to her. When he mentioned the time, she exhaled, relieved. Four meant she had a good two hours until she had to be back. It being Saturday, none of her dorm mates would stir until at least eight. Besides, they all knew she was an early riser, so it wouldn't seem that out of the ordinary for her to already be out of bed if it came to that. Still, she didn't want to push her luck. "Probably wise", she admitted grudgingly. She listened to his suggestions for getting into her dorm safely, thinking it through. As long as she got into bed without waking anyone, and then made a show of getting out of bed a few minutes later, no one should be the wiser. His touch, though still roused her senses, especially in light of the last several hours, but there was also a comfort to it now that felt familiar. She wasn't worried about keeping her distance anymore, that had most certainly been obliterated.
When he shifted, she found herself trapped willingly, and rather than fight him, she grinned. The feel of him against her brought back flashes of foggy memories. Rousing her newly recognized needs. Still, she wasn't sure her body could take another round like the ones they'd experienced last night. Rather than scold him for his use of profanity as she would have her brother, she found herself oddly flattered by the comment. "We do have a Hogsmeade trip in a few hours", she reminded him. "We could find somewhere to hide out until..." Until he had to be back at the school to confront her brother. While Keela hoped her running interferance might curb her brother's ire, she still dreaded the meeting. Remembering the time, she asked him hesitantly. "Are you still going?" Conversation lapsed for several seconds until he kissed her again. At a loss for words herself, she, remembering their earlier conversation, switched to Italian: *"Mi amore, mi tersoro, ti mondo di bene", she whispered softly.
* My love, my treasure, I think the world of you

She told him the Italian side of things and he knew from what he had heard that Italians were considered very romantic and their language would make sense to be the same way. If she was willing to start calling him Italian names he might not have to work so much harder to make this more permanent. As she teased back about getting into the dorm, Vin waggled a finger to her as if she was being naughty. "No no, I won't hear of it. I'm the reason you are having trouble using your legs, I ought to be responsible for either finding a way to help you get use of them again, or paralyze you further." He winked at her and let her work that one out as he gave a soft chuckle.
He knew of course which option he would chose; he was male.
As he had guessed, being thanked for giving him her trust had meant a lot to her; it was important, he believed, to stay as romantic at the first as possible to charm a girl into believing she had found the gold mine in a young man. And since he planned on mining her gold mine many times in the future, a bit of romantic silliness of the type most girls liked right now was very important indeed. Even if as a boy the mushy stuff seemed overkill. She seemed to take his ideas about the dorm as good ones and as she got closer he judged he had shown enough sappiness for the moment. The fact she let him catch her easily prompted some physical reactions from him that he tried to pretend weren't happening for the moment.
His grin grew a bit wider as she spoke about finding a private place somewhere. "Quite possible. Although the shrieking shack is the only place I can think of off the bat. I'm not sure I should be smelling of you, as delicious as that is," he said nuzzling her neck a bit, "before I go speak with your brother. And yeah, I am unless you tell me otherwise after you speak to him. Why, are you thinking we should stay here while everyone else goes there?" Skip telling her brother in hopes of more private time; heh, she was definitely thinking like a guy all of a sudden. And while it was tempting, he figured her brother was important to speak to soon.
"I'd better see him though if at all possible. I can't have him out to kill me all the time we're together." And she knew it needed to happen, this had gone on long enough that they needed an agreement between them. After the kiss (which seemed very realistically sensitive for her) she said something which he assumed was Italian. Grinning he ran his hands up her front and stopped them under her shoulders. "Oh now that sounded nice, what did you say?"

Keela, now feeling considerably more awake, laughed at his slightly dramatized antics. "I think getting use of them sounds good for now. Some of us can only take so much of a good thing you know" she teased. Although in retrospect he'd be right on, it had been fantastic after all. She was all for improving his ego when he needed it, even when he deserved it, but she wasn't one to do so for the sake of it, and so she didn't comment on her thoughts. Though his tone said he wouldn't have had a problem had she gone for the other option, and despite the soreness, she was tempted. But, she reminded herself, she'd have to find her way back into the Hufflepuff dormitories eventually, and while going another round might sound good in theory, it was probably a bad idea in practice. "I'll have to take a rain check on that one."
Keela grinned, unwilling to scold him for where his mind had automatically gone. "I didn't necessarily mean like that, silly!" She gave him a teasingly scolding look. "I think I've created a monster", it brought home again how difficult it must have been for him to wait for her this long. She wondered briefly if he'd been with anyone else in the last year. It seemed unplausible that he'd been celibate since they met, but she didn't want to think about the alternative and so chose to be optimistic. The image he painted amused her, distracting her thoughts from the darker path they'd begun to travel. She pictured the look on Cern's face if Vin were to come swaggering in looking as he did now, smelling of her and wanting to 'call a truce'. Regardless of what type of person Cern was, Keela was fairly certain he'd punch Vin on sheer principle. She'd have thought her reactions to his closeness would have dimmed somewhat in the face of having her curiosity sated, but they only seemed differently roused. As he nuzzled into her neck, she smiled to herself, deciding that, at least for the time being, it didn't matter where he'd been. He was here with her now, and that mattered the most didn't it?
Keela knew that eventually her morbid sense of curiosity would have to be addressed, but not here and now when she was feeling so otherwise contented. "I was considering it", she confessed guiltily, like a child getting caught sneaking dessert early. "But I know we can't. I need to be back in the dorm before my roommates wake up, and someone has to give Cern at least a little heads up." The more she thought about it, the more she dreaded it. No matter how optimistic she tried to be, he wasn't going to be happy. It didn't matter that it was hypocritical, she was his sister, and if the traits he inherited from their father were ever gauranteed to make themselves known over something, it would be something like this.
Keela nodded, "I have no doubt he'll see you, I just wonder if he'll see red in the process." It was an emotional time of year for both of them, and if Keela could have figured out a way to do it, she'd have waited to the spring when they were both more level headed. She wondered if the problems with her brother couldn't be resolved, would it be enough to change her mind? If he got to their parents first? Suddenly a simple hostility issue spiralled in Keela's mind. Could she lose him over something as simple as family prejudice? Was she prepared for that? Should she be? It seemed a ridiculous concept any other time. But, in the here and now when she felt so close to him she wondered if she might explode with the feelings wreaking havoc inside her. In that moment her fears seemed somewhat plausible, especially when she thought about the look in her brother's eyes when she'd first mentioned Vin the last time they'd talked about it. It worried her, and she was unfortunately too distracted to keep the emotions from playing across her face. Hoping to distract him, she used his question as a life-line. "That, love, you'll have to figure out on your own", she insisted, "because I'm not telling."

As she chose leg use he made a look of disapointment on purpose, mockingly so and then dropped it to show he had figured that was what she had chosen. "Ah well, I was afraid of that." In a more serious tone as he stroked his hand down her form he said to her "Stepping over this threshold really changes everything, Keela, you'll see. The things you will now understand beyond words, the different perspective on people's actions, the emotions that run through us; ask anytime you have questions, you know I will answer." And it did truly make you aware of so many other currents happening in the school and around them.
Heck, she'd probably ever realize when her parents were suddenly in the mood now.
He joking responded though "Created or released?" and laughed first before continuing. "Ah, it was...hard to wait that is for sure. There were times there I thought you might never even let me kiss you again. If nothing else you understand a bit more how hard it is for a guy to be a gentleman sometimes with the way some girls act." A few teasers in the school actually had Vincent actually feel sorry for the guys they were stringing along, laugh at them later for holding out waiting even after a year, but he had been one of those as well, though his was not doing it on purpose. "I wanted to be sure you decided this on your own, not because I needed you, desperately." He kissed her again, just a peck this time but where his hand was it suggested something much more.
It had taken her a long time to reach the decision about him and he knew why and there was reason, but he was glad they were past that first leap. Making a connection with her, expressing things she would believe would be so much easier now then before and if he couldn't convince her to be his for a lifetime after this then he never could have. As she admitted temptation he caught at her chin with his hand, raising her eyes back to his. With desire in his eyes and laughter in the set of his mouth he said "Keela, never be hesitant to think about it. Action is the only part to hold back for the right time. I give you full permission to undress me with your eyes anytime you want to. There. I hope you don't mind me doing the same? Cause I'm going to now..." Ha, there was a powerful tool for her mind to play with. Even when she couldn't do it and knew it was wrong now she would find herself looking at him, knowing what was underneath now...
"Ah wait, I have an idea." Releasing her from his legs and arms he sat up then placed a hand on her bosom, not to feel, but in sheer body language to stay as she was. "Just wait here a moment." Putting one leg over her, he crossed over and slipped off the bed having given her a nice long version view of his body and he went around the side of the room collecting their clothing from different places, leaving his on the couch for the moment. Coming over to the bedside he said to her "Let me dress you, love." When she sat up, he started with her underwear, holding it out and letting her step into it, feeling as he slid it up over her legs, kissing her belly button just above and then the middle of her chest up above.
As he pulled each piece of clothing on her he did it as a lover carrying for the most precious thing he owned (which he felt he did) and in a way made it very romantic as well, whispering small things about how much he loved this spot, or her arm was so different then his, or how soft her belly was to the touch. His goal was to make sure she realized he thought all of her was beautiful and worth knowing, worth touching, worth kissing and what better armor could he give her to go and defend him with in front of her brother? When he finished with the last tie of her shoes he was still naked, rising up from his crouch to pull her into his arms for a long romantic kiss his mind very satisfied with her reactions and knowing she wouldn't be forgetting this either for a long time. "That's my Moza..." with an emphasis on the 'my.'

The disappointment on his face was almost comical. She gave him a nervous look. He made it sound as though she'd just crossed over some mythical 'point of no return', which, she supposed she had, but still, to have it addressed was a bit too much reality at once for the moment. Much as she hated it, she'd have to find someone to ask, but she doubted it would be Vin, there were some topics you just didn't discuss with any boy, even a boyfriend, and this was one of them. Maybe she could just give in and ask her mother, on a purely curious basis. She didn't have to know Keela was putting the knowledge to practical use, at least, not yet. "Thanks, but I think it might be better for both of us if I found a girl to talk to." She didn't want to hurt him or his pride, she just didn't feel comfortable asking these sorts of questions period, much less asking him. The difference in their levels of experience was a sore enough spot without feeling the chasm widen further by asking him certain things. Beside that, she didn't want to think about where he'd gotten whatever information he might give her. The thought made her frown, almost scowl actually at the pang of jealousy that went through her. That was new, Keela wasn't the jealous type.
Trying to shake herself from her tumultous thoughts, she offered him a smile. "Good point", though it confirmed the winding path her thoughts had started to go down. She gave him a mischievous sort of look. "Well, if that's going to happen every time you kiss me, I might never let you do it again." She grinned wickedly at him, "too dangerous!" She thought about it, "I'm not sure some of them know what their asking for", she pointed out. "I really had no idea when I kissed you last year it would mess with you that much." She gave him an odd look, needed might be overstating things a bit. She tried to keep her tone light as she asked him. "Needed? Desperately? Bit intense don't you think?" She was grinning, but his choice of words also made her a little nervous. She was fighting against her own hormonal urges right now, most of which were trying to hurl her head first over a cliff into the oblivion otherwise known as teenage relationships. She wasn't surprised by the kiss so much as the shortness of it. There was almost always an intensity about Vin that hinted he was capable of much more than he ever let on.
She was startled when he caught her face in his hands, a bit thrown by the strength he seemed to casually possess. Granted, he was taller than she was, broader too, but it had never occurred to her the difference in their physical strength. Keela gave him a cheeky look, both out of habit and to hide how his words affected her. "And you weren't before?" she asked, eyes widening in mock innocence. Merlin, she already had to fight with herself to keep from fantasizing about him in class. Now that the fantasy had become reality, she wondered if she'd ever be able to pay full attention to anything with him in the room. The thought of his undressing her with his eyes brought back memories of his actually doing so, and she flushed, eyes darkening a shade or two in response. "I think I can control myself", she reasoned. "It can't be that hard..." She glanced at him covertly, admiringly. Oh yes, her subconscious warned, it can.
She made a disappointed sound when he moved, missing the warmth of his touch. Still, curious, she sat up, and made to follow when he stopped her. Curiosity peaked, she sat, comforter draped over her legs, watching him. His offer surprised her, but she nodded slowly, hesitantly, "o-okay." She laughed softly, outside the heat of passion, the contact of his lips on her stomach tickled slightly. Still, it made her feel oddly cherished, as though in some way the act of redressing was more intimate than the undressing they'd done last night. He was taking painstaking care to do everything correctly, and she wondered at his focus, too intent on his movements to speak, she watched his face, even as she obeyed his gestures without question. It wasn't until he'd finished, and comenced to kissing her senseless, that she found her voice. "Only you could make an event of getting dressed in the morning", she teased, still trying to gain her bearings. From anyone else, the possessiveness in his tone would have annoyed her, but she couldn't deny the thrill at being considered his.
She kissed him slowly again, moved down to kiss the spot where neck and shoulder met, trailing down then back up again, taking her time, knowing they had to leave soon. After she'd kissed his lips again, she took a small step backward so she could see him clearly, taking his hand. "Much as I wouldn't mind, whoever's doing rounds right now might take offense to you walking the halls naked, mi caro."
